We spent two nights at Thirsty Falls and it was one of the best experiences I have had. The cottage is a perfect balance between rustic feel and modern finishings. The cottages are right next to the magalies mountains and it feels like you are hours away from the city. The bedroom is very comfortable with a sliding door onto the patio. On the first night we watched the sun setting in the distance while having a braai on the patio. The following morning we woke up to cloudy mountains. We were about 45 minutes from the Maropeng Centre which we visited during the day. On the second evening we spent our time in front of the fire place warming up and reading. It was a really amazing experience. Also try the bath with jets. Wow. We will be back.

We had a lovely time, both times that we visited. The views are wonderful to wake up to and there are many kinds of birds to watch. The units are lovely, well-equipped and comfortable. It's worth noting that some units are completely apart from the others (i.e. never another soul in sight), whereas some of the others are adjacent. In all cases, you have your own private little stoep. The owners are friendly and kind.

This is a quiet venue nestled against the Magaliesberg mountain range, ideal for nature lovers seeking silence and natural surroundings. The owners also serve vegetarian meals on request, which was very tasty. There is a labyrinth to walk and one can take walks into the nearby mountains. The venue offers a good view over the surrounding landscape.

I absolutely loved my stay at Thirsty Falls. The views are magnificent, the property is tranquil and beautiful. I loved swimming in the eco pool with the little fish, it was like swimming in a rock pool in the mountains. There is a beautiful labyrinth on the property which I so enjoyed walking. You can feel the love that it was created with. One can also go for a nice walk up the mountain side. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully laid out with a sense of homeliness. I would definitely recommend it!!

Absolutely idyllic. Such beautiful views. Tranquil and relaxing. Abundant birdlife, we also saw a hare and a wild bush pig. The owners, Alan and Jenny are lovely. Very down to earth people. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. A big thumbs up!

I attended a yoga retreat here with Wise Living. Our hosts, Jenny and Alan were very attentive to our needs and served up amazing homegrown organic food. Rooms were lovely and clean. Stunning natural swimming pool and beautiful labyrinth walk just outside the entrance of the farm. Would love to attend another retreat here! Thank you for hosting us!

Nestled against the mountain, this serene and beautiful place has my heart. It's where I come to rest while listening to all of nature singing together in beautiful unison. Great accommodation, excellent service and communication. The perfect spot to escape the madness of the big city.

Lovely place and the best hosts. Clean, attention to detail, and well maintained buildings and facilities are all a plus. Privacy, surrounded by nature and mountains. Rooms and duvet are perfect temperature with natural ventilation and ceiling fans, made for a great sleep. Thanks for a lovely stay.
