Planning planning planning. And common courtesy. Two very lacking aspects of this travel agent. Was booked on a Mozambique trip, 2 nights in Maputo, 3 in Bilene, between 4 to 9 September 2023. Had a horrible time from leaving late (over 4 hour delay), accomodation issues (we were allocated a house as a group only for them to come after we had settled and tell us that we should cede the main bedroom to a couple in another group😪) and general false advertising on the main attraction (Ngungwa island and speed boat). The hosts(Nomjey tours) lack people management and general PR skills. They were not courteous in their dealings with us when raising queries and complaints. They can both benefit from having a qualified PR team. The San Martinho resort at Bilene should rather be the main attraction and they could capitalise on its beauty and different anemities and activities. Generally, Bilene is a beautiful resort town with San Martinho being its nicest place of the 2 i visited, Ngungwa island is overrated and Nomjey tours is not that great. The pictures attached are of San Martinho Beach Club Resort. Its Great. Our driver Sihle was great though.

Wonderful and met lovely people

This past weekend was one of the most memorable weekends of my life. I had such a wonderful experience with Nomjey Tours on the Mozambique tour. As a solo traveler I was accommodated in an excellent manner and I appreciated the constant check ups from the hosts. I met such great people on this tour, had wonderful conversations and really enjoyed exploring Maputo and Ponta De Ouro together, if I could do it all over again I would! I highly recommend Nomjey Tours, the service is so exceptional from the very beginning. Shout out to our driver Khuli for his professionalism and kindness.

We had a trip with Nomjey tours from the 3rd to the 9th of September 2023. We had high expectations after seeing a lot of success stories on their website, however, our trip turned out to be a disaster from the very start. Initially we were supposed to leave at 23:30hrs from Joburg then the time changed to 00:30 which was okay cz they explained there would be a delay. We ended up leaving at 03:30 am because they could not get hold of a driver. From there we took a whooping 12hr30 mins to get to Maputo. The drivers were stopping on the way and not communicating that there were issues with border papers. And the hosts Nomjey were not communicating either and when they did it was very rude. Then we get to Maputo and tried to enjoy our stay for the night and the next day drove to Bilene. The resort is a 10/10 facilities and all, however more drama from our hosts awaited us there. These people fought us for a mere room because they did not do their bookings properly. By the way we were not told the place would be self catering we only found out about the sleeping arrangements when we got there. The main point of their advertising is the 'island' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 wow so we used speed boats to the island by the way these are like your normal taxis here in Jozi not even the decent holiday speed boat. The island only has a bar playing amapiano n a dirty pool nothing else there. The resort is way better than wasting your time at the island. They have a lot of activities to choose from. All in all a lot of things could have been done better to avoid unnecessary hassles. When you book a holiday you expect to have fun and relax not fight your way through everything. To Nomjey, please communicate better, plan better and don't be rude to your customers.

Last year had a great time and trip to Drankensburg with Nomjey and hence we didn't hesitate to book our next vacation with your company. But our trip to Mozambique for the 16to21 October 2023 was disappointing and didn't meet the expectation. From leaving Durban at 3am, driver refusing to pick us from the hotel that is 2minutes away and we group of 10 after we asked before we had to Uber for our own safety after. Where's on the way we had to stop on free way and wait for other people running late🙄 A lot happened but we delayed at the border becouse of paperwork and the driver didn't even bother to explain not all, he wasn't talking to us on the trip, we couldn't get access to play music, at some stages he blocks the Bluetooth, he's communication skills are worse. On arrival in Belline we were booked a house with no wifi, we couldnt communicate with families even with drivers or nomjey. Our driver Xoli dropped us a parking area and we had to find our way to the booked accommodation. No introduction as to this where you find this, in case of emergency you call this number or you will find us as drivers on this unit. We were just dumped there. But Sihle the other driver tried to listen to our concerns but it was too much to handle. All I can say there is lot, but disappointed as advertisement did not meet the expectation, poor communication and lack of people's skills need to be looked at. We book holidays to relax and explore the areas. This trip was a disaster shame

Our departure was delayed by more than 4hours, the owners were very defensive and rude to us when we were complaining about the delays. They don't give enough details about the trip which amounts to false advertising, the trip is said to be a 5 day holiday (4 to 9 September) but you only relax for 2 days, the rest are travelling, day 1 and 2 are travel, day 5 and 6 are travel.I was also dissappointed by the speed boats, not proffessional no life jackets and the so called island that had dirty pools. They also don't tell you that you will share houses as groups of six or 8 and couples should have first preference yet we all pay the same amount. The communication was poor, the schedule for the next day would ne sent after midnight.
