My
wife
and
I
had
originally
planned
a
safari
in
the
area
of
the
Kruger
National
Park
in
May
of
2020,
following
a
business
trip
to
Cape
Town.
Because
of
COVID,
the
the
business
trip
was
canceled
and
the
safari
postponed
indefinitely.
Matthew
very
kindly
and
graciously
helped
us
cancel
and
suspend
the
visits
we
had
planned
and
kept
in
touch
to
keep
us
informed
about
what
was
happening
in
South
Africa.
In
April,
of
this
year,
after
having
been
vaccinated,
we
decided,
with
some
trepidation,
to
make
the
trip.
Matthew
was
incredibly
helpful
about
rescheduling
flights
and
stays
and
went
to
a
great
deal
of
trouble
to
make
sure
we
would
be
able
to
get
the
COVID
tests
we
would
need
to
be
able
to
leave
South
Africa
and
return
to
the
United
States.
We
spent
4
days
in
Cape
Town
(Camps
Bay),
then
flew
to
Nelspruit
where
his
driver
was
waiting
to
shuttle
us
to
Inyati
Safari
Camp.
That
stay
was
amazing,
from
the
wildlife
viewing
to
the
room,
staff
and
food,
and
we
cannot
thank
him
enough
for
choosing
that
lodge
for
our
first
3
nights.
At
the
end
of
our
stay,
he
picked
us
up
himself
and
drove
us
to
Lukimbi
Lodge,
where
we
had
an
equally
remarkable
and
memorable
4
night
stay.
He
picked
us
up
there
too
and
drove
us
to
Camp
ShawU
where
we
had
another
unforgettable
3
night
stay.
The
day
before
we
we're
scheduled
to
leave,
he
drove
us
from
that
Lodge
in
to
a
nearby
clinic
for
our
COVID
tests
and
THEN
took
us
back
the
next
day,
on
the
drive
back
to
Nelspruit,
so
we
could
get
the
test
results
(Negative!).
He
could
not
have
been
more
helpful
and
considerate
and
we
were
very
pleased
with
the
trip
he
arranged
and
would
recommend
him
without
hesitation
or
reservation.
His
honesty,
thoroughness,
attention
to
detail
and
kindness
and,
especially,
his
very
real
love
of
the
bush
and
the
animals
in
it,
made
our
trip
better
than
we
had
imagined
it
could
be.
