Absolutely stunning!!! We had the best day in the Kruger! Elephants, Rhinos, Lions and Buffalos seen way before 7:30 in the morning. The snack pack was well enjoyed. Rest stops were adequate and more than enough time to shop and eat. The Leopards unfortunately were very shy but we saw everything else at least twice. 13 Rhinos, 18 Lions, alot of Buffalos and more Elephants than we could count in one day was a treat. The ladies know the park very well. Highly recommended!

Professional, courteous and punctual from the first e-mail all the way to drop-off. The vehicle was spotless and the warm ponchos were a huge blessing for the crisp, morning weather. Lizelle (Liz x2) was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable and loaded with patience and her respect for the environment as well as other visitors was lovely to witness. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fantastic visit to the Kruger Park.

Best Kruger Experience I've had to date. Liz was an incredible host. She was very professional, courteous to other drivers and she found us the most amazing sightings. At the price, I dont thick we will self drive again. Absolute value for money!

Lizelle was the most amazing tour guide. She knew everything about the animals and gave us plenty of time to take photos and ask questions while still ensuring that we saw 4 of the big 5. She was just as excited as we were to view the animals. Without using a radio she was knowledgeable enough to know where to look and how to spot the animals even in the summer bush. Liz was there to help point out animals as well. We were pleasantly surprised to have two guides to make this experience incredible. The vehicle was as impeccable as the guides. They even provided snacks that can easily substitute lunch. The cherry on top is the fleece lined ponchos that kept us warm as it was a bit chilly and a little rainy.

Lizelle was an absolute champion today. We saw some magical sights and she looked after us so well, ending the day magically with a 'just us' close up of a leopard and its kill followed by ellies taking a dip. I can't remember a better drive. Lizelle is knowledgeable and shares information with passion - she deserves a raise. Give Lion Roar Safaris a go.

Super accommodating and informative. Liz was super patient in making sure we get the morning bush walk and night drive within limited dates. They know lots about every animal we saw. I love that they provide parkas for their guests because it gets super chilly as the truck moves. Their truck is clean and not loud like other trucks which tend to scare the animals away.

My family and I enjoyed a safari experience with Lion Roar Safaris recently. We had an amazing time! Liz and Lizelle took fantastic care of us and went out of their way to make sure my elderly grandmother was comfortable. Their personal touches like the ponchos and the snack boxes were greatly appreciated. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We all learned so much! I highly recommend them to anybody wanting to enjoy a unique Kruger Park experience.

I can really recommend this Safari company . We saw the big 5 within 2 hours and the 7 magnificent + the ugly 5 both days . Lis was an amazing guide and driver . She had a lot of knowledge about the animals and park . We had one night at Berg en del resort, we got a big hut and they had a good restaurant there with a sick view. It’s was 12 elephants cooling and down in the water and 2 hippo was watching them from a distance . I can really recommend this company, it was a really good experience!
