Lovely place for monuments. Also there is a gate fee but there is a great discount for students and pensioners. It tells tales and gives a you an insight of the early happenings around the KwaZulu-Natal area. It was great fun to learn about the old cultures and also the apartheid era.

I thought it was great. Clean, neat, a peaceful oasis in the middle of PMB right next to the taxi tank. Lovely displays of historical and social interest relevant to PMB and KZN. Staff were friendly and obliging.

This is a nice museum to visit, especially if you visit the church of the vow which is part of the tour, the church of the vow is an amazing part of the Afrikaans history and you can get a good look into the past.

Msunduzi-Voortrekker Museum is a great place to discover our history so that we understand who we are as human beings of South Africa. It also offers 3 halls to render your function. Since 2017 we have been staging our annual prestigious contest called the Face of KZN Model Search Contest at this magnificent venue.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this museum, the accompanying information for the displays was written in an articulate manner and the displays were attractive! This visit offered an informative glimpse into early Maritzburg (amongst other things) and it was an enriching experience for my family and I.

Brilliant, lovely venues for events, lovely exhibits, well kept! Exhibits include exhibits about the San people, traditional Zulu tools and pottery, Voortrekers, and even the French. Two large attractions are a traditional bee hive hut outside and an old and restored Voortreker wagon. This is a great place to go for the day and learn about history and culture.

Was bad as we paid for the visit and then was only advised that part of the museum was not accessible because the floor was water damaged. Visitors should be advised in advance
