I can’t recommend this place enough, from the game drives, food, accommodation and staff everything was 10/10! We only stayed for one night but it was perfect. I felt like I was in a dream every second I was there, Victor was looking after us on our game drive and he made the experience unforgettable! We did a game drive in the evening and the morning and got so many amazing opportunities to see lots of the animals. The entire lodge was beautiful and our room had everything we needed in it! Will be recommending to anyone I can!

We stayed at Leopardsong the weekend of the 13th of November. I loved the idea that an hour and a half could get us out of the hustle and the bustle of city life. Lebo was so welcoming including TK and Susan. Our rooms were well decorated even though I have an issue with a pillow that is not mine. We had enough plugs for our phone chargers and for the ladies, a hair dryer. Aircon and a fan above the bed took care of any heat issues and it was awasome that buck could roam right past our chalet. The room also had insect killer an mosquito repellant. Good show! Our group consisted of good old carnivores, one vegetarian, one nut allergy and two vegans. The chef made sure he had us all covered and the food was amazing. It was disappointing that our game drives did not deliver all of the big 5. But this is Africa. Everything happens in its own good time. The stars are beautiful at night and we got the dying bonfire going at night after dinner and just chatted and checked out all the strange critters that came out when it is dark. An awesome quick getaway. My only criticism is that we were starving by 11am on Saturday (breakfast is quite late, so blame the fresh air for our increase in appetite) and ordered toasted sandwiches and chips. Those were only served to us as lunch at 2pm. There were some grumpy people around. All good otherwise.

Superb inexpensive gaming lodge for safari trips. The staff were ultra helpful and pleasant and the food excellent. If on a short trip to Johannesburg and you’ve only time for one night stay with two safari drives on a budget this is the place. Highly recommended and will definitely go again when next there.

Amazing experience run by the lovely people. The safari's are exceptional, food and accomodation outstanding. Very cold when out on safari this time of year so bring appropriate attire. Lots of amazing animals to see in their natural environment. Don't forget some marshmallows for the firepit!

Excellent food, well taken care of and very good game drives, where we were lucky to see loads of different animals sympathetically in their own habitat

Wonderful place. What's not to like about waking up to zebras and colourful birds in your backyard. Staff are passionate about their job and are so friendly and helpful. The food was so exquisitely simple and good. The safari's are very exciting not knowing what beautiful animals you might see. If you want to appreciate nature Leopardsong is a great place to visit again and again. Brian and Anne Mudge

I felt like I was inside the movie “The Lion King”. One of the experiences that I will have forever in my heart. Staff is lovely, during the game drive our guide gave us a lot of information about the animals and how they live. Highly recommended.

WOW! What can I say or where to start. Everything about this trip was amazing from start to finish. The lovely Eric picked us up from our hotel and made us feel very welcome, we were checked into the lodge as soon as we arrived and lunch was ready and waiting for us. We went straight out on a game drive with the lovely Ingrid, who by the way has a phenomenal instinct and way around the bush. She didn’t only find us 1 but 4 of the big 5!! As well as all of the other beautiful animals that the bush has to offer. We felt more than safe with her and this led to such an amazing experience guided by a woman with so much knowledge. We watched the sun set over the landscape whilst having drinks and nibbles on the back of the vehicle. We were met with a fire pit and dinner when arriving back at the lodge where we could unwind and reminisce about what we had just witnessed. The rooms are so comfy and secure we slept like babies! We had an early sunrise drive the next morning which again was spectacular! We originally only booked for 1 night however we just weren’t ready to leave so the wonderful Susan managed to extend our stay and arranged it all for us whilst we relaxed by the pool all day before our next game drive. I can’t put into words how much I have taken away from this trip, it’s an eye opener and really something worth doing. Everyone at Leopard Song was fantastic and I can’t wait to come back! We miss you all already. Thank-you so much, it really was the trip of a lifetime. Emily x

I stayed here with a couple of friends for one night in March. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the lodge where lunch and drinks were provided. The first drive was absolutely amazing! We saw an elephant up close and to be honest I was pretty satisfied with that but we saw so much! Ingrid, your guide was so informative and friendly. We were not prepared for the wonder of finding the lions and watching them kill and eat a zebra. They were so close to us, walking past the vehicle is something I’ll never forget. I don’t think any of us took a breath! We returned for dinner and drinks before bed and doing it all again at sunrise. It was just perfect.

The most wonderful experience, from hotel pick up to drop off. We stayed 1 night and did 2 game drives. 1 early evening (with a sunset drink) and 1 very early morning drive. We saw different animals on both drives and Vincent the driver is super funny, knowledgeable and professional! The lodge accommodation is superb, food wonderful and the best part sitting around the camp fire in the evening after dinner. We will be back and most certainly will recommend to others! 6*

Nice couples weekend getaway just outside of joburg with the big five. Rooms were comfortable. Food was delicious. Game drives were great though it's a pity the game vehicles dont have access to all parts of the reserve. A great option for people who don't have time to drive all the way to kruger or pilansberg for game viewing.

Visited Leopardsong Game Lodge on Wednesday/Thursday and what a great experience it was. We had 2 x 21/2 hour tours of the park during our stay but unfortunately for us the lions, rhinos and elephants did come out to see us like all of the other animals. The accommodation was first class and the food presented to us by chef Bill was to die for and not forgetting Happy who served us our meals. Our hosts Sonia and Oz organised our stay to perfection and would highly recommend visiting this game park, would give it 11/10 if we could. We intend to visit again in the future and will definitely stay longer next time.

We really had a great time at Leopardsong Lodge - a big thank you to Therese, TK, Pele and the rest of the staff for their great hospitality, attention to detail and overall great service. TK warmly welcomed us and we almost immediately retreated to the pool with drinks. We went on one night safari and one morning safari, both with beverages and snacks. We were very lucky with our sightings and Therese taught us so much about conservation, wildlife and nature! We returned to a delicious meal prepared by Pele and later sat around the ready-made campfire for a night cap. The premises are well kept, clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely caring and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back with friends and family in the future!

We were spoilt by going to Krugar first. The size of the park where Leopardsong is situated limits the number of animals that can be exhibited which made them difficult to find, especially the big 5. We did experience an elephant charge which added some excitement. The staff though were excellent, friendly and helpful. The load shedding by the power companies was not helpful, especially at night when the air conditioning stopped. This is not a reflection on Leopardsong as it offers a great stay and good accommodation. However, private game reserves are limited and still present an atmosphere of being a large zoo. Give me Krugar everytime.

This is the best game drive I have ever been on and the whole stay at Leopardsong was great. We got a really warm welcome and felt at home. A stunning location. The lady who took us on the game drive 'Theres' (may have spelt wrong), was great. We saw everything that was available that day, we missed the elephants as they were a bit shy... her knowledge on not only the animals, but the vegetation and how the animals interact with there surrounds was astonishing. Was the biggest highlight of my trip to Sputh Africa so far.

I have been here twice now and loved it. My first few safari's we're with Ingrid and the animals I saw were unbelievable. So good we're my photos that I had to return with my partner who needed to experience it for himself. Our 2nd visit we did safari's with Terese who was also fabulous. Both Ranger's were incredibly knowledgeable, had spades of personality and professionalism. The accommodation itself is charmingly African with all the amenities of any 4* hotel. Wifi isn't great but to be honest i wasn't interested in the WiFi. Being "off the grid" was half of the appeal. I'll attach pictures of the Room. Sadly I won't be posting pictures of the animals we seen as I have been advised that poachers are able to use location tags to poach animals. If you see this, thank you Ingrid and Terese for making our stay so fabulous
