The place is amazing, it's a R5 entrance fee. But absolutely worth it. Over 500 stalls and everything you can think of under one roof. The hidden gem there is a restaurant called bunny chow curry place. The chicken Tikka is mind blowing!!! The vibe at the food court is very lively, live music, absolutely clean and seats and tables are in a shaded area. There are many restaurants to choose from. Give them a visit the next time you are in Boksburg!

A great variety of shops. I found what i was looking for a specific item that I could not find anywhere. Also priced right. You can find from beauty to the latest fashions, shoes, bags, jewelery, hobbies, toys, and much more. Cumfey food court that covers foods of the world. Great music and large play area for the kids. A really nice family outing.

One of my favourite places to go to. The atmosphere is always great and the live intertainment is wonderful. If you haven't already been at this place i highly recommend that go there and experience the great place. The food is out of this earth

It's like a flea market, lots of traders and goods. I got there for vehicle items like lights, sound and decorations. You can buy anything from perfumes, clothes, light duty solar panels, Led lights, pepper sprays and other self defense goods. You can negotiate prices and there is an open eating area with a few simple restaurants. The parking is terrible it's busy with people trying to get your attention selling various vehicle goods it feels unsafe. You need to be street wise.

Parking a nightmare. Don't feel safe. First time in a few years that we visited the flea market and can see the quality not the same. You can get better quality and products at any other shop and feel safe

I hate being hounded by hawerz in the parking lot, and inside you get hounded by every single shopkeeper. If you just like to window shop in silence, this place is not for you. Also many of the exact same stores throughout, a few new things or ideas would be great for this always busy market.

Love the Flea Market. Always a fun day out. Advise, withdraw money and leave your wallet at home. I always end up spending more than i should've. Only thing is that i wish they would get a proper smoking area.

It feels like you can buy here everything and get a nice meal while shopping. Parking and whole place seems to be safe and well secured. As a foreign traveller I can't recommend enough chance to buy travel gifts that are much cheaper than the same items in all the touristic locations across the country.

Never disappoints, I always get what I need at a reasonable and low price. The store owners are friendly and helpful when you need assistance. There is a food court which sells good food while you are busy shopping, live bands and music on occasions is nice. The entrance fee is reasonable but I don't understand why I'm paying just to enter.

Fun day out with the kids, live music and a nice little play area with security. All traders are friendly and enjoy a bargain. If you take the kids, take all your savings! 🤣

Quite a good variety of stalls with entertainment over weekends. Usually have pretty good service and helpful owners and staff. The trade outside by people and some of the car gaurds can be a bit of a pain.

To find something you can't get elsewhere, pay this place a visit. In all probability, you will find it here. There are also a lot of different food stalls, so choose your flavour and come hungry

Every Sunday from 14:00 there is someone singing. Good vibe. Nice place for kids to play while you enjoy some music and food. Also great to see so many shops that sell differemt products. Like any flee market the items here are cheaper and so will the quality be. A good afternoon out in Boksburg which wont cost an arm or leg. Entry is R5 per adult and Free for kids under certain age.

It's so big we got lost. I'm sure we missed half of it. Row numbers etc would be handy! Loved it overall. Will definitely plan a return visit

It's an okay place. Lots to shop for on this place.. think the price is reasonable. Have to say, for a public space, the toilets are clean. There is live entertainment at times. Also when u are at the parking. Nice view of planes landing .

It's always great to visit this flea market. There is a lot of variety and something for everyone. What makes this market nice is consistency and entertainment, which is live music over weekends and play areas for kids. The food is great, and there are plenty of different options catering for a variety of requirements like vegetarian, hallal and others.

Not a fan of cramped spaces with lots of people. Lighting seems to have become more grim over the years, shops seems to be repetative but there are still stuff you want to buy, and my family enjoyed the experience I think. So my 2 stars is subjective due to my own biases

A plethora of goods and services, way too much repetition, generally lacks management as place is messy, ATM has issues and sets limits that are just not what my card is, not excusable in a place where most traders do not accept cards. There is ample parking and food court has decent offerings with kids play area.

I used to love East Rand Traders. WE would especially come to Boksburg just to go there. When we moved it became our weekend spot. But today I was so rudely treated by one of the owners of the pet shop. He was rude to me and some of the other customers and now I don't feel comfortable going there anymore as I am sure there are Flea Markets like Montana in Pretoria that seems to have friendlier owners that would go of their way to help their customers not attacking them. I am very disappointed in the pet shop and will tale my business elsewhere

This flea market is always clean. You can always find a good deal. You can get something to eat while shopping and enjoy live music on some weekends. They have a play area to also keep the kids busy.

Love the vibe! A lot of space to sit down. Many shops witg friendly people! Always deals uo fir grabs. Big variety of food courts. Great play area for children.

Very nice place with alot of goodies. Some things are fake but for the price why complain. The outside parking looked a bit tough with all the people washing cars/fixing cars and so on. Have not been there for many years and driving past just had to pop in. Still looks the same inside after many years.

They recently added a new no smoking rule in the square which is a bummer for all smokers.

All traders seem to keep the same items, e.g clothes, blankets, luggage, carpets. Covid obviously hit them hard. All store owners are quick to ask if they can help you. Prices of goods differ from shop to shop. Keep looking you will find a bargain.

Entrance was quick, Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was festive, a lot of places to have a good quality meal, the kids enjoy they play area, and a lot of shops, and relatively clean and well kept as well. A good place for a family to go out and do some shopping and eatery. Highly reccomended.

That parking lot is a mess. Once you pull in, you're practically harassed by a swarm of car guards, car washers & guys wanting to fit a multitude of car accessories! Once you get passed that, you get into the Flea Market. Except for one or two interesting stores, you will find nothing really interesting & most stores owned by foreigners who can't talk English well enough & don't understand customer service as it should be. Won't shop there unless there is something specific that I'm looking for.

Not like it used to be. The same things att most stores. We did find lovely bracelets that were quite unique and hand made. Great for gifts.

The place is neat and has sufficient security. The competition among the traders makes you think you are at an auction. There is plenty to choose from and play area for kiddies, fun place to be around.

Loads of variety. Although more than one stall sells the same goods, you can shop for the best bargain. Love the incense stall. Nice place to just stroll and look at the variety of goods on sale.

Stalls to purchase goods from locals instead of the big malls. Able to bargain if you like that but be kind. This is a local market not tourist minded only so the goods are both everyday items and things to purchase as souvenirs.

I like this place! You can get almost anything you want at a fair price. I recommend one to pass by and see how useful it is
