I come to this Wimpy and sit in the same seat every time and always receive a warm greeting. I order the same bacon and egg sandwich and the classic Wimpy coffee that never disappoints. I love airports and feed off the palpable energy and excitement. There is a definite warmth and approachability of those who frequent this Wimpy and I remember fondly the engaging conversations with strangers. I am a big fan of the Wimpy franchise and I hope you can come to enjoy it as much as I do.

Today we were waiting for our flight so decided to have a nice meal at wimpy. Before finishing at wimpy we were told to evacuate and come back to pay our bill without evening finishing our sit.. I don't think it's fair at all to have to pay a full price when you were disturbed half way through..there were plenty other people who just received there meals who had to evacuate.

First time in there now 09h40, 21 May 2022. Service very poor from face to face encounter to kitchen, wow. What baffles me is that everyone seems to be too busy but there's ony 5 customers seated.

The restaurant menu's are falling apart and, you can't complain about the service because there is none. I'm currently waiting for 30 minutes to place my order

Poor food quality. Bad Tough lamb that was probably made two or three days earlier, horrible chips and uncleaned table. One was cleaning the table next to us and when he finished he placed a cleaning bottle on our seat whilst eating. Really? The one star is for the friendly waitress who understood the bad quality of the food. The second plate the lamb was raw.Big difference between the ORT Wimpy an King Shaka one.

Solid 4 stars...good welcome by Charlie. The burger itself is timeless. Freshly prepared, fresh ingredients, quick service. Nice almond cappuccino. Great value for your hard earned cash.

Probably the worst service received staff have no customer experience I ordered a takeaway it was brought to the front thrown on the counter and staff member just walked away second time walked in staff member at the front just looked and us and gestured with her head to go to a seat no greeting whatsoever..never again

Had the best Wimpy experience at the King Shaka branch today — thanks to our waiter, Nhlanhla. Even though the meal was a brief affair, he made a lasting impression on everyone at the table. He was always one step ahead and could predict his customers' needs before they had to ask — whether it be an extra chair or the timing of the bill. Nhlanhla is a valuable asset and one to keep an eye on! :)

Friendly, efficient service. Sadly the smoking area, not acceptable... the smoke is filtering into the non smoking area. I have a Ling condition znd extremely sensitive to chemicals and smoke... my nasal passages burning, started wheezing.

Sat down and ordered two crumbed chicken burgers. Both burgers were still raw in the middle, chips were cold and stale. Service is barely passable. The undercooked food was unacceptable.

My son and I come often. It’s part of the airport experience. We have always had good experience and the food is always fresh. Our waiter Twice was wonderful, kind, attentive and an absolute star.

Food is terrible. Fries are raw and tasteless and had to wait 20+ min for a takeaway order. Tables looked dirty and staff was just hanging around doing nothing.. Threw away everything after the first bite.

Probably the worst place I have ever been, service was non existing, we ordered drinks they came around 30min later in dirty glasses and our waiter never returned to take our food order had to wait approximately an hour for him to return where we had to the get the bill as we were going to miss our flight something seriously has to be done about this place

Very poor service. Dirty tables. Sat n waited for the tables to be cleaned. Chips seemed as though it was fried a few hours before service. I'm a regular at Wimpy. Very disappointed 😞 I was there this morning 5 Feb between 8.30 n 9.00am.
