This is one of the most beautiful farms I've ever seen. Philip and Louisa has been an example of how love and care can turn something average into something amazing. We've been here in the guest rooms, camping for events and for the most beautiful weddings. I think they have a great offering, and I definitely recommend bringing your family here for a treat. Coming from Cape Town, I would suggest staying a day or two longer than a weekend, just to take the tranquility in properly.

Was so lucky to find this place available. Really enjoyed our stay in the chalet. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a break away from reality. The views are amazing. The hosts were fantastic too. Will definitely be back again one day.

What an incredible find this was. We stayed in Crimson Cottage and had a wonderful stay. Our hosts, Phillip and Louisa were amazing, ensuring that everything was to our liking. Lovely hiking trails, although one would need some level of fitness, for the "Plaat trail". Spectacular views of the valley await you from the top. If you are a mountain biker, you will enjoy the MBT on the farm. This is also an amazing wedding/function venue. Definitely not our last visit.

This is out "go to" spot when we want the absolute perfect camping experience. Peace and tranquility guaranteed with the most spectacular scenery. You'll camp on soft green grass! The kids so enjoyed the freedom to ride their bikes and to do some fishing with the dads! A fully equipped, clean and tidy ablution left us wanting nothing more of this place. An absolute jewel.

Oaksrest now holds number one position in our camping ratings. And we have camped all over the country ! Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, great swimming in the dam. Upkeep and neatness beyond the normal standard. Kitchenette even has a washing machine and ... a hair dryer in the impeccably clean bathroom !

Noticeably well maintained property, excellent facilities, fully appointed kitchens. Nice hikes, Beautiful dam. Come, enjoy yourselves.

Oaksrest Sauvignon Blanc is stunning. Love the fruity but also woody taste. Well done!

We went to go see Joshua Na Die Reen live. Was a good concert against a beautiful mountain backdrop.

This campsite at Oakrest will remain in our memories as one of the most spectacular locations on all our travels. Stunning views of the mountains. Total tranquility next to the water. Lush green grass under your feet. Total bliss. Power points and water available. Super nice ablutions and kitchen. Very convenient to have the washing machine. There was no tumble drier when we were there. They even have a communal camping fridge, kettle & microwave oven. The owners were very hospitable. The hiking trail was beautiful. Surprisingly, this campsite was more affordable than most others on our tour and pensioners get 25% discount. We will definitely stay here again.

On arrival, we felt most welcome to stay at Oakrest Vinyard. We were directed to find the most beautiful cottage equipped with all the utensils we would need for the next two days. The picturesque view of Towerkop Mountain was a total surprise to us. If you are looking for the best place to stay in the area, then this is the place. Thank you Oakrest Vinyard family for being such wonderful hosts and making our stay so comfortable. We would surely be visiting soon again to enjoy the walking trails with or without our bicycles.

An absolute gem just outside Ladismith. Friendly hosts, campsite has 5 stands, lush green lawn, ablutions is 5 star, spacious and very neat. Lots to do for nature lovers and Bass fishing is another bonus.
