Indian takeaway

😠 I was keen to order dinner from a small local business. I ordered the deal for 1 person which included spicy beef curry, rice, papadums, naan, veg samosa and a soft drink, it cost $30 including delivery. Upon arrival the veg samosa looked well over cooked (dark brown) and once I began eating my cur... People often mention chicken, service, good, sweet, business, delicious, Indian,

I was in two minds based on some negative reviews but glad I followed the majority on this one. Butter chicken was nice, tender and not over sweet. Maybe it is based on individual taste or something.. Also had goat curry which was very tasty. Good value and friendly service, I would recommend

Never been to Eva's deli until today (22/4/23). I've always heard good things about it so thought I'd try it out. The business was bought by new people who had only been there a week, they were very nice! Food was absolutely delicious! It's a very nice little place. It's like on old fashioned deli, like in the 70's - 90's (or a little general store in India) but also has this secret little take-away of delicious Indian food (with veg options also....and they sell Mango Lasi...my favourite). Part of the deli, they also sell heaps of delicious lollies that any kid or adult would drool over. I will definitely be going back for more!

What a great hospitality I received today!!!! I was looking for the authentic Indian style spicy food from a very long time and guess what I got it today. I think they are the new owners of this restaurant and amazed me with the quality and quantity of food. 5 star for the cleanliness 5 star for the hospitality 5 star for the taste of food A must try!! Will definitely be back guys :).

I have no idea how this place has such good reviews. I wanted to support a small local indian business, that was a mistake. This is the worst indian meal I've ever had. We ordered the lamb rogan josh and bombay beef, they both tasted awful. The naan bread was okay at best. I will never go here again, truly terrible food. Save your money and time, avoid this place.

Definitely won't be back. When you pay for chicken tenders you get chicken tenders.... Wrong. You get frozen out of the bag Black and Gold (home brand) chicken mince covered in cheap cumbs. Curry is below average. We get one go at a take away treat a week these days, even that's a stretch..... And when it's a disaster like this was, it really makes an impact........... NEVER AGAIN

This is a super neat deli that has all your needs! They do speciality curries, and the mango chicken is amazing. It's definitely worth a try. The service is great too

Hi Nancy, everything was wonderful, compliments from everyone. People loved the biryani! The naans were fantastic as well, and we really appreciated the plates, trays and cutlery that you provided. 10/10

Great tasting food, always been served by friendly people. Kids polish their food so we can’t ask for much more!

Some people complain about the butter chicken because it's too sweet but that's what I love about it. I've tried multiple different shops for butter chicken and this place is my favourite. Gone here multiple times, always lovely service from the lady and garlic cheesey naan is the best too.

The mango chiken is really good, can never go wrong for a quick weekend take away. Good prices and great service with a big smile on their face ☺️

We have to travel a fair distance to get to this place but it's well worth it! Best Indian food we've ever eaten. Eva is the BEST cook and always super friendly. Highly recommend:-)

Absolutely atrocious. This butter chicken is overly sweet and the consistency of the sauce is like water and the garlic naan is the frozen one from Coles. Will never be getting takeaway here again.

Eva’s deli and takeaway is a special place to visit. Her food and service is only one small part of what she offers. Firstly her Indian food she offers is absolutely delicious and her prices are very reasonable for what you receive in return. With her food comes a level of service we don’t find a lot of anymore it comes with kindness love and respect for those that come through her doors. Eva is always happy to see you back and remembers who you are each time you return. Her compassion within the community is amazing and is always willing to help others in need and her doors are open to anyone in need especially during trying times we’ve all had in the past few years. In summary Eva and her family run a not just a business but a family business that is welcome to all with food and groceries and competitive prices to bigger supermarkets so not only you will eat beautiful food you can get those extra items drinks or ice cream whatever you need she has. It’s an old school business in the 21st century keep up the good work.

Not too bad, but the butter chicken is sickingly sweet, I could not touch the sauce without feeling like I was eating a tablespoon of sugar, everything else was alright though.

Upon arrival the veg samosa looked well over cooked (dark brown) and once I began eating my curry I found a fly cooked into my curry (see attached photo). I'm highly disappointed in my order and will not be ordering from here in the future due to food safety concerns.

We were really hoping this would be good because there aren't a lot of Indian takeaway options in the area and it's our favourite cuisine. Unfortunately won't be back. Chicken was really dry and not tender as it should be in a good Indian curry. Sauce was also too sweet, which seems to be a trend in the reviews. Really wish it was good as we love to support small and local.

Was really hoping to give this place a second chance after a terrible first experince but this time was even worse. The butter chicken was pretty much inedible as it was so sweet and watery. Everything tasted like it had a bucket of sugar fall into it. Naan were very small and very average. Good service from lady at the shop but unfortunately won't be back.
