Big 4 tourist park Barossa I am rating this park 4 stars. When I first arrived, the reception was good always someone their between working hours. There was lots of space 2 ovals at the front, and a big area behind the tourist park. Theres also heaps of interesting bikes paths that’s leads you to many places , for example an outside church, called the bush chapel . Also your able to rent out pedal go carts for a couple hours. The sites for tents and caravan/ camper trailers are good and you are able to choose for grass or all weather and powered or not. Some of the cabins are a bit old but the more you pay the newer they are but I had no problem with mine. Pool is made for kids as you probably see in the picture but it’s deep enough at one end in the middle for their heads to go completely under so be aware that if your kids walk to the other side on the edge of the pool it’s a lot deeper in the middle. Games rooms cool I guess have air hockey, mini soccer, gigantic connect four and table tennis. Their are a lot of barbecues and fire pits spread all around the park but the kitchen for the tents and the caravans is a bit old and dirty. Their also a basket ball half Court and a giant chess board out side what’s cool too. Over all this is a great tourist park but Theirs a lot for kids. I’m pretty sure a tourist park is in the middle of a resort and a caravan park but it’s making me change my mind because their nothing for just adults to do here, your not going to go play air hokey and your not going to go swimming with kids jumping around next to you. This tourist park is more like a caravan park, but if you have kids it’s great so that’s why I will give this half tourist half caravan park 4 stars. Otherwise go to the other one in Barossa. Also they have Tesla charges

This is a well equipped and well run big 4 park. Cabins of all sizes, sites to match your needs. Lots for children to do and a short walk from the lovely town of Nurioopta in the Barossa. Highly recommend for a few nights or a week here.

What a great place to camp. We stayed march 17-19 as a last minute quick break. We stayed in our own tent on a powered plot. The facilities were excellent and so clean! All staff were very helpful and smiley. We will definitely go back here. Was great value for money.

Fantastic location and facilities! The maintenance and office staff are always fantastic👏 we’ve stayed a few times and on the last couple we’ve been lucky enough to get the larger premium grass sites. Last time the bore water strainer failed and lightly flooded and maintenance and office staff were fantastic!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Everything is so well cared for and clean (Yes the amenities were empty for pictures 🤣).

Have been here 2 years in a row in April at the end of school holidays (2022, 2023). Overall, it's a great park. Not too many people at those times. Close to town and the linear park to walk in. There is a well setup camp kitchen, unfortunately it's near the front gate and too far to use for campsites along the oval. The kids loved the pool, adventure playground and games room. We went with a large group so the games room was handy in the wet weather. The first year we were woken by a hot air balloon launching off the oval. There are 2 new playgrounds this year.

Stayed here recently for a night whilst exploring the Barossa, the facilities and park were okay however not worth the $70 for a campsite for one night? That is very excessive when we were not using any power simply setting up a rooftop and using our own battery set up. I have never paid anymore than $30 for an unpowered site, you’re simply paying for the location.

Good park although it was PACKED due to NYE. Sites aren't very big so you are pretty close to your neighbours. Pool isn't very big but the kids still liked it. We had an ensuite site which was clean and shower was hot. Loads of dogs which I liked however if your not a dog person then maybe get a cabin where they aren't allowed.

Great location and customer service. Nice neat cabin but the old style window rattler heater was so loud it made it impossible to sleep when it was running so my heavily pregnant wife and I had to choose between sleeping or freezing in 5 degree temperatures. A split system unit would make for a much more enjoyable stay.

Great spot to park up and venture out to wineries in the area. There are heaps to choose from! Plus antique shops, gardening, trinkets, breweries, chocolate shop so much to see and do in this whole area. Worth staying a whole week.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The family cabin accomodation was clean but basic. If you have kids the pool, the well equipped games room (with tables tennis and giant connect 4) and playground are what makes it an easy stay. The grounds are well maintained and laundry facilities easy to use (bring gold coins). The location was excellent 10 mins to local wineries and attractions. Will definitely be back.

Had a very enjoyable 4 day stay, the park is big and spacious with everything you need for a great stay. If your into AFL I can't think of a better place to stay for the gather round , as your right there. We will return

Had a great four days here exploring all that the Barossa Valley has to offer. We will definitely return, in the not too distant future. We had the Shiraz 2 cabin, very spacious, clean an everything you could possibly need

A basic but clean and tidy cabin- small, annoying things that didn’t make things unbearable but we’re definitely inconvenient- First cabin had no power, we were quickly moved but luckily hadn’t unpacked much Bathroom door handle broke meaning the door couldn’t be fully closed then the smoke alarm would sound every time the shower was used and steam was escaping Toaster not working Bare minimum cutlery and crockery- everything so small! Tiny saucepan, tiny bowls, tiny spoons! Window rattling heater- would have been nice to be warm overnight but too loud to sleep with it on! Not the parks fault but the other patrons weren’t great- lots of loud noise at night, people completely taking over BBQ and fire pit areas and not budging for anyone else, cars constantly speeding through, people parking all over the place haphazardly and blocking roads, I was the only parent supervising my own kids with about 30 other kids at the playground. I don’t know how you’d managed to enforce rules with some people but I think something more could be done.

Allocated what was supposed to be a drive thru site .. on arrival at the site there was a large tree at one end in the middle - impossible to drive thru!!... Phoned the office to advise and requested to go into the empty site next door. We were told that they were fully booked tonight and that they couldn't move us... Took total of 2 hours to get the 9.1m van into the site - cannot put out the awning as we had to park the car beside the caravan. To have our awning out we have to park the Ranger somewhere else.... Tell me what is the point of completing the booking form where you advise the size of your caravan.???? Not happy...😒😐 Would we stay again?? probably NOT!! See photos attached.

Awesome! We LOVE LOVE LOVE Big4 holiday parks! Stayed for 4 nights in May 2023 in a Jay cabin. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped cabin. Check in was a breeze. Front desk staff were helpful, friendly and email communication was swift. Strategic location. No doubt about it, we will definitely stay here the next time we visit Barossa. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Big4 Barossa for making my stay a memorable one.

We stayed in a cabin at Big 4 Nuriootpa in April as part of a group and we had a fabulous time. Great amenities for all ages and we can't wait to go back again. It is a fabulous venue! Staff are great!
