A great supermarket, value for money and a fantastic deli section, fruit and veg are always fresh as is the bakery dept.

I like this Drake's! The staff at the Deli are nice and really helpful. Crazy time over Christmas and Easter so expect a wait but with the amount of staff, you get served relatively quickly!!

This Drakes store is amazing. So many food choices. Even if you go in for 1 item you get stuck viewing the fantastic produce, the huge selection in the deli part all the salamis, continental sausage and the rest. You come out with not just your one item but many more. If you have not been, worth a look, you won't be dissapointed.

One of my local shops, pretty good Foodland, I buy fruit n vegetables there occasionally. They have most things I need day to day. Not as good as Norwood, Frewville, or Pasadena, but way way closer ;) Fresh popcorn, orange juice, peanut butter, roast chickens

A fantastic bright new Store, a huge range of items and products, cheaper prices than Coles and Woolworths with friendly, caring service! Wish the same Store was up North in Port Augusta, otherwise known as Port Augutta unfortunately for good reason. Cheers.

This store was our go to during Covid with all our online deliveries coming from Newton. Head and shoulders better than Coles online but you’ll still get the common pain points of them not sending that one thing you really needed because it was out of stock. Having had another round of Covid recently, Drakes, once again was there to help us out and with free delivery over $200, we were pretty happy. That said, if you read this and expect the butcher or green grocer to give you the same experience as you get in store… think again. They’ll always pick avocados which are too ripe and either not enough or way too much sirloin steak. That’s just online shopping. Otherwise, both online and in store Drakes Newton is a good bet.

Got kale at a good price last Thursday, went back today (Tuesday) before new shopping week starts tomorrow to top up only to find price had more than doubled! Staff could only apologise as they had no idea why price didn't stay the same for the whole week. Drake policies purely profit driven with no consideration for customers a total waste of my time and petrol

I bought 2 pieces of salmon which when I got home was just starting to feel slimy. Fish should be fresh if you're going to sell it and I hope they grow a conscience and make sure their fish is fresh fish sold @ $12 for 2 pieces.. buyer beware..
