I booked an appointment in May for hair cut and keratin treatment John was amazing with hair cut and overall he was extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with But sadly keratin treatment was a disaster My hair is fried, so much so that I can’t run my fingers through,and it feels like touching a haystack. I went in with a purple hair by end my hair was pale pink/orange Didn’t think much of it ,since fashion colors tend to act unpredictable . Right after service my hair felt greasy and kinda damp in the roots,even after rigorous drying and styling,I thought maybe they used too much product so I decided to wait 72 hours before any conclusion. Once I got home I noticed how much my hair was breaking off and some parts were clumped together and looked like a wool. I wasted over 500$ to have my hair completely ruined Pictures taken right after I got home from a saloon

I have been going there every month to get my grays covered. The wash is okay meaning I can wait two days to get through and then wash with my shampoo and conditioner. The wash I got today after the color was one of THE WORST!! I ended up with an itchy scalp and whenever I scratch my scalp, my nails are black with residue color. I will try to wash it tomorrow and see if I can get it off my scalp. Right now, it’s pretty itchy and my nails are ruined. Paid $60 for this!!

I went in for a cut and color. The blonde highlights surrounding my face don't go all the way down to my scalp. It looks like my roots are already grown out by a few weeks right after I had it done. Then I asked to have my hair cut with layers to make it look fuller when styled. I also asked for side bangs that start in the middle of my forehead and sweep to the left. I ended up with choppy layers that actually makes my hair look thinner and messy. And instead of side bangs I ended up with no bangs. Not a good look for a middle aged woman with a high forehead. Very disappointing. I used to go here regularly years ago and always ended up being very happy with my hair. Now I'm out a few hundred dollars and my hair looks worse. Really bad since I work the front desk in a very busy upscale hotel, very embarrassing to be seen like this.

Wanted to make a change and lighten my hair as much as possible. I booked a Folyage with Drea. She is the absolute best and I am so glad I found her! She took the time to ask questions about how I normally wear my hair and how I style it so she could apply color in the most flattering places. I’ve gotten so many compliments. She was able to lighten my hair way more than I thought possible and my hair has no damage and looks so healthy! Cant wait to see what she does next with my hair.

This has been my worst experience and probably won't go there again. I got a dip manicure. After two days, two of my nails chipped. After three days, two more chipped. I called to get a nail repair. They scheduled me with an appointment then a day later they called to cancel because the technician they scheduled with me doesn't do dip manicures. Couple days after my repair a manager called to apologize and told me that I'll receive a gift card in my email. I never did receive one. The dip manicure didn't last long and very disappointed with how much you pay what's suppose to be high service.

An elegant facility that is always well-staffed every visit, and I have been getting my haircut at this location for over 10 years now. Prior to that, I used to go to the location inside Woodfield mall down the street. John always does an amazing job with my hair and I appreciate the quick service when it comes to paying and booking my appointment. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough great things about Gigi and Theresa! Gigi did my hair highlights and Theresa cut and styled my hair and they both did an amazing job. I won’t go to anyone else.

My color has been done by the same lovely lady , Corinne for over 20 years! She delivers everytime! I have natural black hair and she makes my hair look fabulous!! 5 +stars!!!

I have been coming to this Mario’s just for Yvette and rose they are both so great at what they do and are very experienced and knowledgeable. Yvette has been such a great massage therapist i leave there feeling great she is very great at her job and does exactly what parts i ask her to focus on! Rose does awesome too, every time i leave her my skin feels amazing soft and so fresh she he’s really helped my skin and she is very thorough also. These ladies are very great at there job! And i willl Keep coming back

Great for hair services but dip manicure was disappointing. I’ve come to Mario Tricoci a few times for hair services and was always satisfied. I decided to try their manicure services since I had a wedding this weekend. I will say that I was very impressed with the hygienics of the process but the actual application of the dip left me disappointed. I got a bold color to match my bridesmaid dress, and it looks like my cuticles are bloody. They are not actually bloody and I’m not in any pain, but because the dip and the top coats were not applied correctly there is a lighter ring of red around my nails that make it look like my cuticles are bloody. It’s noticeable in most of the pictures that I take it and I can tell every time I look at my nails. I’m just hoping that the wedding photos do not show it that badly. You can see in the photos that the dip and the topcoat was not applied all the way to the edge of my cuticles. I suspect this is due to the process they use for applying dip, which is to pour the powder over the nail instead of dipping the nail into the powder. I suspect this is for hygiene, but it does not give as clean of an application as dipping the nail into the powder does. Also, they don’t do tips with dip powder. That surprised me. The service itself was very nice and again I was impressed with how thorough they were about hygiene and using new and sterile tools. But if I do return for a manicure, I think I’ll stick with lighter colors.

Teresa was a very good hairdresser. She met all my requirements in my short haircut change, the result was more surprising in my hair than I could have imagined. thank you so much! I will surely return for my next haircut.

Teresa at the Woodfield (Mall Drive) location has been cutting my hair for 14 years. She is incredible! She has taken me through MANY different hairstyles and every time they look amazing. She cares about her clients and their satisfaction. I wouldn’t trade her for anyone else. Now even my teenage sons get their haircut with her too!

I've been going to this Tricoci, and the same stylist, for about 5 years. After going to bargain haircut joints forever, it feels good to get a consistent, professional style on the reg. My stylist knows me very well and does my hair to perfection. She's very charming and friendly and we have a good chat every time. I'm one of the only dudes in there, I think because men hate to pay a little extra for haircuts, especially older ones. But I want to go a less predictable way. I'm getting up there, but still lucky enough to have my hair, without much grey. So why not make it look good? I go short back and sides with some body up top. No part. I feel younger and can face the world with confidence every day knowing I have good hair. Big ups to the Tricoci staff as well for making me feel welcome and keeping the place clean.

I had a facial with Diana and massage by Tatyana. I had an amazing experience with both clinicians. Diana was gentle with my facial and addressed my concerns. I appreciate her expertise and wonderful chairside work. Definitely will be back!!
