Tamara did my hair. It was my first appointment with Tamara, and the first time at the shop. I came in for a textured silk press. I washed my hair a week later and my curl pattern and texture was different. My hair was even straight in some areas. My hair had a sulfur type smell to it. And my scalp was tender and itchy. When I brushed my hair it brushed so straight it looked like I had a relaxer. She must have used some type of chemical on my hair. This was devastating because I had natural hair 4-6 inches from my tailbone. Ladies, our hair is so important to us. It takes us a lot of effort and time to get our hair healthy and long. And it doesn’t take long for someone to destroy everything we worked hard for. Don’t put your hair at risk. Go to another stylist! She is unethical to have done something like that, and lacked accountability when I followed up with her about it. I strongly advise anyone searching for a new hairstylist, who ended up looking at this stylist/shop, to keep searching to find another.

This is my first time coming to Teresa and Luxe Salon. I wanted a short cut and color for my natural hair. I sent Teresa pictures ahead of time telling her what I wanted. She even called me the day before to have a quick consultation to make sure we were both on the same page regarding the services I wanted. The day of she was timely and the salon staff were very friendly and inviting. She told me the steps she was going to take to achieve my look. When she was done with my hair even the staff said she did an awesome job with my hair. I have been nothing but smiles since my hair cut. I would definitely be back because the salon atmosphere was warm and inviting. Teresa is a very nice, knowledgeable, and talented cosmetologist. I don't trust everyone with my hair but I've found that I know I can trust her.

Teresa was waiting for me when I walked in and was very attentive and kind!! She recommended a protein treatment and a hair trim that has started my hair on the road to being healthy again!! The salon is beautiful and spacious as well! My hair was perfectly straight and bouncy when she was finished!

I came in for a silk press done by Paris patt and I left with my hair looking like a failed blow out ! The owner contacted me but did nothing. I won't be back here. Pictures attached!

My 12 year old daughter cut her hair short in different places and it was a mess. Tamara cut it and styled it perfectly so you can’t even notice anymore! We were in & out & everyone was pleasant. Definitely making another appointment soon! Thanks Tamara!!
