Stepped into this place while out walking and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chlorophyll water with lemon and ginger and the hummus toast on sourdough. My wife got an acai bowl. All of it was amazing. The hummus toast was savory with complex flavors. The acai bowl was great, not too sweet. The granola in it was fresh and flavorful. This is going to be our new stop.

Wow! Truly impressed with this unique place and their knowledge of health and supplements. Great for a healthy lunch. I also love the fresh juices and smoothies. They even had the option to add CBD, protein powder, etc. Super nice staff. They don’t sell a ton of stuff here like a grocery store, but have plenty of the best quality products, herbs, joint supplements, and natural health items that are harder to find elsewhere. I’ve never seen sea moss before, picked some up. Truly a gem of a store!!

Organic Rootz is a remarkable cafe with organic juice, smoothie, sandwiches and so much more. I simply adore the cafe. What a delicious and nutritious addition to my day❤️ I took my family here to enjoy fresh smoothies and we were delighted with the no sugar peanut butter-bombs too ! Mmmm! With so many options available i decided on the açaí smoothie, my son enjoyed the tropical one and my daughter loved the straw nana one. We all enjoyed the service with a 😊 smile and the great location. We look forward to trying the Algonquin location next time we’re in the area

I really wanted to like this place as I follow an ayurvedic diet. The alkaline bowl I received was inedible. Aside from presenting like prison grul, the bismati rice was not cooked. Despite being soaked in soup, the rice crumbled to dust when I bit into each kernal. The taste of this soup was good. It tasted identical to the kitcheri that I make at home. The consistency look nothing like the picture on the menu and was rather unappetizing, on top of the uncooked rice. I had to throw it out and buy other food.

I drove 30 mins just to get Yaya's Almond Dip. They're one of the only stores in my vicinity I can find it in. The staff was very friendly and told me other places I could find it as well! The menu looked really good. If I wasn't in such a hurry I would have tried something. Will definitely go back to get the dip and try something off their menu!

I will never go to this place again!!! The gentlemen who was making the food took 15-20 minutes SLOWELY making avocado toast. It took me 45 minutes to get 1 smoothie and one bowl. mind you the shakes and bowls were amazing but that wait time is crazy considering it was just toast before us. The he proceeded to throw the frozen bag of fruit against the dirty floor to break it up. Very unsanitary. He then took the fruit that looked extra on my bowl with his bare hands and threw them back into a freezer. Once again food was great but I will never be back again!

Love this place! So happy there is a vegan friendly place in Barrington. Their food and drinks are great, and the employees are always welcoming. Lots of variety in terms of supplements and health foods too!

I pulled into Organic Rootz in Algonquin a few years ago and immediately became a frequent customer, supporter and friend of the owner, staff and their mission. I was thrilled when Umar opened up the 2nd Organic Rootz in Barrington. Their top of the line products and shared knowledge to the public is so needed today. They do a great job educating and helping folks with their individual needs and always come up with thoughtful solutions. Needless to say, I love love their smoothies...all organic ingredients...if you love chocolate you have to try Nutty Ape and Maaz's Chocolate Mint. Yummy!!! Oh I almost forgot, the homemade lentil soup made by Umar's Mother! Thank you Umar and the entire staff for all your hard work and being an integral part of the community. Cheers :)!!
