Good location for a great local neighborhood bar. Friendly & helpful staff. Fun & easy going atmosphere full of locals. Awesome thin crust pizza! You won't go wrong! Dine in or take out is available. Plenty of beer options on tap. Open everyday at 11am. Stop by to watch your favorite sport teams on one of the many tvs or just relax with a beer after a long workday. Will definitely be going back.

This is my second time here in the last 3 weeks. The menu isn’t huge but what they serve is worth the visit, especially for a small hole in the wall. I had the steak burrito on one visit and the chicken burrito on this visit and it comes with two authentic style red and green salsas that will remind you of the kind served in Chicago. The bartender, Katelynn is awesome, she is so nice and attentive, and is really friendly. They also have pitchers of beer, always a plus. Outpost tavern is clean, inviting and I highly recommend stopping here, even if it’s for a steak taco and a beer. Thumbs up!

I look forward to Fish fry Fridays at Outpost. Pizzas are great, too. Friday, coming from Treatment at Sherman all day, really looking forward to picking up at Outpost. I phoned close to 5 pm to place an order. Waitress put me on hold for 16 minutes. I could hear her talking to customers . I tried calling back several times, busy signals. Ordered take out from another place. I remember week before I stopped in to pick up order, a customer had to shout to waitress she had a customer. She was chatting with customer end of bar. Always had good service in the past.

Have been going here for the past two summers every Friday. They have great beer league volleyball with two courts. The food is really good as well. I recommend the taco salad or buffalo chicken wrap. Only two minor issues are that the seating out by the courts is outdated and ball retrieval. New picnic benches would be amazing. Plus some nets for the back of the courts so they dont go into the trees. Overall I recommend coming here. Staff is very friendly.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, in fact this is the first time I’m writing a bad review ever in my life. Place was dead, sat down next to father In law who had already been there and had his drink and bartender came up had an entire conversation with him about her life problems then walked away without asking me what I wanted for a drink. My father in law spends a great deal of money at this place every single Sunday…… we met him there on our way through town after a trip we went on with our pup who by the way is small, doesn’t bark, and pretty much just lays down and chills.. We never brought him inside the bar. My fiancé stayed outside with him while I ordered our drinks. I then sat outside with my drink l, that I finally got after they acknowledged I was there. PWhile sitting outside minding our own business, multiple people who were playing vball came up loving on my pup. Soon after, the bartender came out, called me “honey” which wasn’t appreciated as I’m likely twice her age. and said I had to leave because my pup was with me and they serve food. I said, “that’s why I’m outside and no one has food out here,” she said, “Sorry, you have to leave.”I asked her then to reimburse me for my drink I hadn’t started drinking yet and she gave me a dirty look, said nothing and walked back into the bar. She then proceeded to charge my fiancé who had no idea what had happened for my drink. I will never step foot into this bar again. Rudest bartenders and it’s sad because we loved meeting our family here every Sunday until today.

A nice clean dive vibe bar. It's right off route 20 and very easy to get to. I've driven by this place 100's of time and this past weekend was the first time I went to enjoy this establishment. I'm glad I did the beers are cold and the vibe was right. There was people outside in the back but we didn't make it that far but I'll make sure to check it out next time I am here.

Very nice service. We sat on the patio and enjoyed well crafted drinks. Ordered burritos to go, really tasty. Loved the salsa verde.

Stopped in for a drink while passing thru. Service was great, and met some great, helpful locals! The bartender sent me off with a bag of snacks from her personal possession, as I was backpacking thru the area!

This place has awesome food so delicious. However, it's not wheel chair accessible. People outside were extremely loud.

I only can answer for the beer, service and atmosphere. The beer 🍺 👌 and atmosphere is very good. The regular patrons are nice regular people. The tacos 🌮 need an ingredient change. They are made with corn tortillas. Also they need to be more authentic use skirt steak, chorizo, chicken 🐔, pork and green and red salsas. I spoke to the cook and he knows how to prepare these tacos 🌮.

Nice "biker" type bar. People were friendly and had a decent patty melt.

I rode my motorcycle out here for lunch and it was fantastic! Vanessa was my server and she was great. I had the Kickin Chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese, freshly grown jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, crispy bacon, and mayo. Sooooo good. I should've taken a picture of it.

Nice local tavern in Pingree Grove. I liked the local clientele and everyone at the bar was friendly and welcoming on my first visit there. I didn't try a dinner but will be back to check that out in the near future.

Great place for a burger or even a burger after riding your motorcycle around the area.

Not a great experience, unfortunately. We ordered cream of broccoli soup and it came out cold in a styrofoam cup. We let the waitress know and she did apologize and took the soups. She brought them back out, one was full and one was half empty which she noticed and then said one was half empty when it was brought back. It wasn’t and nonetheless why wouldn’t you just give us new soups? Also, was it like microwaved or how was it warmed up? Yuck. The fish fry was okay. We did notice a bunch of butter on our plates for the dinner rolls we never got. We let the waitress know and she was apologetic but by that time we were done eating and we didn’t feel like chasing her down again. She was busy running the bar and she was very nice, however, as far as customer service goes, I would have not charged us for the soups or at least just made us new ones. It’s a bummer because it is money spent for subpar food and not the best experience. I gave it a 2 star instead 1 because she was genuinely busy and was trying.
