My aunt went on 8/11 to buy buns and when we opened the pack on 8/12 we found MOLD on them. Never shop here! What a joke place.

Ordered cake for baby shower. The delivery was very late even though the order was placed 3 days ago and instructions were clear. Did not answer the phone. The cake design was good but the cake was dry even though we mentioned in the order that the cake should be moist.

Excellent Masala Dosa and Pastries. Cakes are hit here. Indian POP like Thumbs Up, Limca, Sprite are available too Hot bread spl chicken biryani is the “most value for money” item, it comes with generous portions of chicken biryani, chicken 65, 1 boiled egg, Salan and Raita... Must Try!!!

One of the worst food/ snack experience: the food is not even worth putting in mouth . We had ordered Dahi Vada, Sev Puri ; Papadi chat . All of them , trust me All of them Was worth a negative ratings : they will get business as it’s Chicago but worst food ever . We sitting in front of the Hot breads and writing . Hoffman estates branch don’t know how to talk to customer even . The lady said paapdi chat is made that way , lot of Paapi ; and little sprinkle of sev and tamarind chutney . It so sad that we spend 50$ worth of chat items. Please don’t go here for chaats for sure . We went and told the Owner , aye just said it’s that’s way .

I went there again knowingly the quality is going down by day, man I ordered dahi puri, God knows what it was, definitely no dahi in it or taste whatsoever and the falooda is just run down water of some ice cream. This place should shut down. They put raw noodles in faluda. Rip off, bad quality no taste. I would not ever recomend this place even they offer free food. Also I was made to pay in cash ZERO STAR

We bought a birthday cake and selected Black Forest cake. I’ve also attached pics of how it looks once it’s cut. Almost 35% of the cake is cream and was difficult for us to eat it. One thing I did not understand was why the restaurant was charging 12% tax on food as Schaumburg is 8%.

Very big scam. Prices in the screen are different than what you pay. $1 extra. When I asked the lady says yes we need to update the screens and pointed to a small notice behind her which was blur already. I have already reported them to authorities. This seems to be an ongoing things with all Indian Restaurants. We must not keep quite, please start reporting them to authorities.

This restaurant has been so consistent at delivering poor quality food I had to give it the full rating.. There is no other Indian restaurant in the area with the variety that these guys have, I've only ordered their chats and vadapav etc.The confidence of the kitchen staff to just put some potatoes in a pav and sell the same thing as 5 separate dishes is applause worthy. Well done folks, will order again, I've already done 5 times and each time it has gotten worse.. if I'm destined to waste all my hard earned money I'll spend it at your restaurant. The menu card will make you remember all the mouth watering snacks you get only in mother land India but try ordering it, it's either out of stock or they going to mess it up so badly you will crave it again the next day, this is great marketing strategy. The place keeps selling you dreams of the feel good food you want to have and keeps under performing consistency at epic levels. It's not like they are a bad restaurant, they are terrible and that's the best part. They seem to have beaten the competition next door at who is the worse of the two.

Big difference between what they display on prices on website and what they charge Prices are doubled and quality is half now. We ordered Chicken 65 and they charge $11 per container and container size was half size they used to give before covid. In the name of inflation and covid, ripping of the customers I won't recommend this place anymore

Superb food. The cakes are excellent. Some people have given them bad ratings for no reason whatsoever. This is a very good restaurant, and they have a chain of restaurants all across the world. It’s a privilege and a benefit for all of us customers to enjoy the taste. A good food I would strongly recommend there in a class of their own

It is Indian restaurant with plenty of bread, pan, pulav, cakes, yogurt, and traditional Asian foods. Noise from refrigerators is annoying. There is a whole in the ceilings and dirty entrance door sometimes, but free Indian newspapers are available.

Great good and great service! They’re always so kind and give quick service. We got cholay and Dahi puri and pani puri and all were so good!

Ordered Samosas and what we got were tiny mini samosas which probably were ready-made frozen which come in packages. It is far from money worth. The worst indian restuarent in my life.

You can always go for their special chicken biryani. It's is always tasty, good quantity. Recently I tried their chicken dosa... Loved it... Took kathi roll for take away. It's too good. Definitely recommend.

This was a go to restaurant for me, never had problem, but recently food quality went down and the taste. Ordered dosa and sambar had no salt, and Ordered take away for my family and now everyone are sick due to food poison. Serious action need to be taken against this restaurant. ''Never going back. Have some concern while cooking towards your consumers''.

FOOD POISON ALERT: Ordered Biryani here and got dry, not fresh cold rice (it must be a left over from the day before). Even though we ate small portion of the order made my whole family sick. Never again to this place.

Ordered on Uber Eats for a call saying chefs not in. Why the hell you open then?. Chef is on break. Okay…why do you have one chef. Then told me to wait. Then canceled the order 15 min after waiting. Pathetic. Worst experience ever. Would never go there again. There’s so many other options. Don’t trust these people. Completely incompetent and useless to run a business.

Worst customer service . It takes 30 minutes to get a plain samosa order of $3.99 I see people getting orders who came after me. Worst experience . I would not recommend this place to anyone

Samosa were made from frozen ready made box. Chohle puri also doesn’t taste good either. Don’t even try anything here. Not the same taste used to be.

Nice desi place. Fast food, great cakes and pastries. pastry, new this time was gulag jamun pastry and ROAS malai pastry! Yumm! That’s next Mm my list.

Guys never ever order cake from Hot Breads. Though their Quality is good but worst customer service. They never deliver cake on time. Please check if the stores are open for pick up as on the order screen they allow order pickup though the store is closed. You will come to know once you arrive and find the store closed. My party is messed up two times now where they missed to deliver the cake as promised and I have to arrange an alternate cake for the party. Avoid Hot Breads or suffer the consequences.

Cakes are really great! But more often than not they screw up your order. They usually miss something in your order when you do take-away. Otherwise a good store The butterscotch cake was really great!

Excellent cakes. The new standard for cake creation are awesome. Perfectly blended and awesome decoration. The writing on the cakes are very professional and catch eyes of people. I ordered 2 cakes and they were both flawless , tasty and the best decorated cakes. On top all these were all eggless.

Worst customer service ever. I had ordered a pick up at 10am at Hoffman Estates location days in advanced. When I got to the store at 10:15am they weren’t even open. I attempted to call them and no answer. Cake was already paid for and we had to wait 2+ hours for the cake to arrive at the location from our pick up time. They keep telling us 5 more minutes for 2 hours when we kept asking for money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Much better bakeries with better service in the area.

I was supposed to pick up the cake for my kid's cake smash session at 11 am. I reached here to pick up at 11.30 and they still don't have it. They don't know when their delivery guy is going to come with the cake. I am going to be late for my session. Google should allow to give negative reviews to such restaurants. If you are planning to buy a cake from here, save yourself. Don't ever come here.
