    Would give the grooming department here 0 stars if possible. Everyone including the manager lacks communication skills & professionalism. Took my new puppy (5 months old) to get groomed for her first time ever & paid for the FULL package which includes a hair cut, got her back and she received NO haircut at all , not even a trim! Looked like all they did was shower & dry her. Wasn’t highly dissatisfied, also asked for her hair on her face to be cut down super short which did not happen. After we picked her up the groomer said she was a bit nervous & was pulling away but that it was normal bc again she was still a puppy and it was indeed her first time.. groomer recommended to bring her in more regularly so she can get used to the feeling but that overall she was a really sweet & good girl . After learning all that information I understood why she didn’t look “perfect” after her grooming appointment. We let a month go by to schedule her next grooming session , I called on the phone to make the appointment and I told whoever I spoke with what the last groomer said ; she was a little nervous and was pulling , I also expressed i was not happy with the last grooming session and wanted her to get an actual cut this time. The person on the phone proceeded to make her appointment. Finally the day of her appointment comes and I get a call from the groomers a couple of hours before her appointment; person on the phone basically is telling me that they had to cancel my appointment because she was “trying to jump off the table” while getting her haircut (this was never told to me by her original groomer when she returned her to me the day of) I told the person who called me that this was NEVER expressed to me and when I made the original appt all that was said was she was pulling but that it was normal for her first time… also I expressed concern for them canceling LITERALLY at the time of my appointment! Of course I asked to speak to a manager who was extremely unprofessional and kept saying she didn’t know why the girls never told me or why they made the original appointment… The manager said they were canceling my appointment because the groomer with the “most experience” wasn’t available during my appt time/day and the other girls weren’t “as experienced” as if that’s MY problem… don’t hire people who aren’t capable of grooming ANY type of dog. Point blank! Also to add , the manager said she would speak to the original groomer and have her call me back personally to reschedule me (manager was offering me an appt a week later and during normal work hours like 9-5 as if people don’t work) with her only and offer me a discount. TWO WEEKS LATER AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALLS FROM EITHER OF THEM. Worst grooming service ever. Save your money and go to a small private company instead. Don’t waste your time here. 😊

    Very decent store with good and courteous staff . Never had trouble or bad experience dealing with this store. Like the new redo . Its very impressive... Have a an elegant look

    The grooming center was a pleasure to deal with and definitely will be coming back! They do both cats and dogs and the prices are very reasonable!

    I come here for the selection of fish at the price point I want to. They have a lot of competition in the area yet they seem to always have the best pricing on relatively ornate freshwater fish that you don't see everywhere else. For being a multi purpose institution you really couldn't go wrong. Picked up this Koi veiltail female beta to go with the tank.4 bucks, in comparison to 6-7 over at the Hanover Park location down the street.

    I can’t say enough good things about the groomer and manager Sharon. She is absolutely amazing! my pup is extremely anxiety ridden. I cannot thank her enough for the kind, calm and patient treatment she gives my dog. She is extremely talented and thorough. She not only does a beautiful job grooming him, she cares about his well being. It has eased not only my pups anxiety when getting his monthly grooming but mine too, knowing he’s in the best hands. Thank you Sharon for your talent and for your caring. We all appreciate you very much! :)

    If I could proved a zero star rating I would! Pathetic service to say the absolute least. I will certainly never return, or shop at their establishments, in store or online. Their associate had absolutely zero customer service skills. Couldn’t even be bothered to say “thank you” or for that matter speak at all as he delivered a 20 gallon aquarium to my vehicle for curbside service. When I tried to be further polite, despite his atrocious attitude and lack of any customer service skills he was still lacking any level of service. He couldn’t be bothered I assume to say hello or any form of greeting or verbal acknowledgment. A simple thank you perhaps? It’s not difficult, it’s just like the thank you I provided to you for your “service”. I asked if he could accept a “tip” although it was certainly not deserved at all. His simple “no” reply as he walked away was just fine by me. This stores employee was simply a joke to say the least. Bottom line just like any place, feel free to take your business where you please. I assure you I will never do any form of business with them. Plenty of options out here to exercise my purchase options at. I assure you this was my last visit and I will be sure to share my experience with others.

    Been bringing our reactive pitty mix here for bath and nail trimming fur 2 years now. He loves the girls in the grooming salon. Loves his special girl, Sharon. She does a great job!🤗

    We have taken our dog through the beginner and intermediate obedience classes with Sonny and he is been great. He is patient, informative, and really know his stuff. Our dog has made tremendous progress and we really enjoy the classes. That man needs a raise!

    If I could give zero stars I would.. I want to express how taken back and appalled I am with the grooming salon at petsmart in Schaumburg.. We had a scheduled app. for 6pm tonight. I get a call at 5 pm asking me if I was still planning on coming in and I replied yes our app. Is at 6. They told me the grooming salon closed at 6 and to come early.. (the grooming department closes at 7pm) I arrive early as requested, no problem. Mind you we have been going to this location with our dog for the past 6.5 years and have never had an issue until tonight. We went in for a routine nail trim and Sharon the grooming manager was scheduled to do the app. She first told me that 2 people would have to handle my dog since he has to be muzzled. (YES our dog needs to be muzzled because he has pass trama at the vet and nail salon. He is a nervous nelly but is harmless and loves all people and animals) I told her yes of course what ever made her feel most comfortable. She gave my dog a treat in front of me then asked me to step out so she could assess him. Within seconds she waved me back in and flat out said “I can’t take your dog he tried to bite me. He’s too aggressive”. I said in return “I have never had an issue in the past and I also have never witnessed 2 people handling my dog for a nail trim. If your struggling and or feel uncomfortable to get the muzzle on him I can do it for you”. She responds back loud and very defensive “ I’ve been doing this for 10 years I know what I’m doing you don’t need to tell me how to handle an animal. After that she asked me to leave or she would call security.. I literally laughed in disbelief and found the store manager.. Needless to say Sharon has several complaints from employees as well as customers.. It is sad that we will no longer be giving petsmart grooming in Schaumburg our business. I will absolutely not tolerate being mistreated like I was tonight and neither should anyone else or there beloved pets. Now that I recall Sharon was already packing up her belongings at 6 as if she was ready to walk out for the day.

    They lost a customer. These new customers reps are extremely rude and they never give you any points when you purchase anything. You have to ask if we have any points. They really do try and scam you. Plus they’re expensive. No more pets smart, chewy all the way.

    Been coming here for years. Sharon grooms my dogs and we've never had an issue. Have recommended her to friends. She does a great job. My dogs love her.

    Staff is nice, place is pretty clean but , if your dog pees inside the store, please clean it up. I cannot tell you how many times me or my dog have stepped in pee puddles. Be a responsible dog owner

    Place is clean, appropriate amount of items for all sorts of pets. The employees know their customers very well and all employees treat the animals coming in with a lot of love and attention. They have a wonderful selection of holiday treats and toys and what I enjoyed most was the check out the lady told me about the rewards system and how it benefited her very good first experience with them will come back.

    I go there for dog and cat ROYAL CANIN dry food. If I'm on weekends they have dogs adoption which is very cool what they do. If you looking for new family member this is the place to go. While you shopping you can go with new friend home. That is awesome.

    Store is near to my house and We are happy with their services 😊 Store is clean and we got 3 birds from this location. We got parakeets and they are so beautiful. The only thing is you won’t get much variety of pets. But overall experience was good.

    My cat needs his meds and I have a written prescription from another hospital that can be verified with the prescribing veterinarian directly, yet this place would not fulfill it because they need me to bring my sick animal in in order to score some extra cash for a supposed exam. An exam that my pet does not need since it has a diagnosis and the paperwork for a refill. Not bringing him there, ever. Period. Veterinarian extortion is what I call this.

    Took my cat for claw clipping a month ago, and let them talk me into a 'dry bath' next time. Today was that next time. 15 minutes late, dry bath was not dry, didnt finish the job (didnt shave all paws), sent me home with a wet cat. If my appointment started 15 minutes later, they should have kept her an extra 15 minutes AND FINISH THE JOB. Never again!

    For weird reason, I'm not sure why this Petsmart doesn't have a lot of stuff being near a big mall. Besides the smaller quantities, I really love the employees here. They're pretty friendly and acknowledgeable. I enjoy having small talks with the employees here.

    I'll give them three stars Pros: they gave me a replacement fish because mine died three days after purchasing it. Cons: If my fish died so soon I feel like it's going to be due to dead fish polluting the tank there. I saw multiple different fish dead. You'd think for a 10 dollar plus fish it'd be watched carefully. I'm sure the cheaper the fish go, the less attention to care it will get. All fish are living beings!

    I like to shop at this petsmart, for my convenience. Always, it takes longer to pay than shopping. Most of the time only one lane is open at peak hours.

    I had my daughter bring back part of my order because the dog wouldn't eat most of it. It was unopened and I had a receipt, but the young girl at the register still gave my daughter a very difficult time.

    I informed an associate that a bottom shelf guinea pig was trying to drink water from an empty dispenser and could she please attend to it. That associate paired up with the lady manager and they followed me around the store and harassed me making eye contact as they did "can I help you?" Most absurd experience ever. I left immediately. If they thought I was a secret shopper or something, word to the wise: don't harass your secret shoppers either.

    You'd think we took my kids to the Brookfield Zoo, they were so excited to see all the different types of pets! Luckily we didn't have to purchase one...yet! (I see you, cute guinea pig!)

    He's been going there several years, and now, even though groomer said he was very good, wrote we might have to be charged more next time, because of his behavior. She said it will depend on the groomer, even though he was good for her. This makes no sense. Maybe the groomers need a raise.
