    On 7/16/2023 at 2pm she did not accept my rabies document my dog was born on December 2022 from Iowa, and he got shot with brand name Nobivac 1-DAPPv on January 27,2023. And this document was accepted by Petsmart dog classes in March 2023. And why did you refuse to cut it shorter? What is the sense having your cut size choices on your desk if you don’t let us choose what we want. I wasted my time that day.

    I have been taking our dog here for a few years and the last 4 times I’ve taken her there they have added on add ons without my permission. Then I call and speak with a manager and she was the rudest person ever. Like how do you charge people $26 for something they DIDNT ASK FOR. You guys lost our business. And I will never ever support petco again. Shame on your customer service

    Hamsters and guinea pigs aren’t given enough room, and the wheels are not good either.

    Great interaction and experienced a positive energy level around the associate . He was courteous, knowledgeable and seemed very passionate about his job . I was in and out like a breeze. His was able to help 3 customers at the same time while making sure all of us were comfortable and had his undivided attention. Awesome !!

    I always have an amazing experience here! The staff is so helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond and make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. I didn’t catch his name but a nice young man even helped me carry my litter to the car today! I’ll drive out of my way to shop here every time!

    I brought my 1 year old dog here for a face, feet, and fanny groom + bath and then was told that he was not welcome back here again because he wasn’t nice to the groomer, Lexi. She stated my dog needed to be medicated and needs to go to a vet groomer who can better handle his behavior. She couldn’t even give me a place to go to. I did reach out to the vet who said it was up to me if I wanted him on medication but said it was likely the groomer’s behavior that made him act out. I also had a hard time finding “vet groomers” in the area too since I’m sure vets have much more important needs to care for than grooming. I brought him to a different groomer today who fixed up what Lexi neglected to do (who also charged me full price) and she didn’t think my dog needed to be on medication at all. She was very patient and provided him a very calming environment and said she would like to groom him again. I only went to Petco because they had the availability and they likely had availability because they ban dogs who they can’t handle. I’ve never seen my dog so sad after I picked him up from his grooming at Petco. It also took me awhile to check out because the cashier wouldn’t acknowledge me at the counter. I will not be back here again with any of my dogs. I would much rather support a small business and get my pets needs elsewhere than a place with employees who aren’t compassionate.

    The young lady who took my call when I arrived at the store curbside for pickup was great. She was very friendly and said she would be right out with my order, and she was out in less than a minute. It was a great experience.

    Earlier this year I adopted three spaghetti beavers here and since then have been a regular customer. The entire team here is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They all just seem to enjoy what they do, and in turn this has made being a frequent customer a very pleasant experience.

    Spent 10 mins standing at an empty register waiting to be checked out, while their associate, looked like dog the bounty hunter, was just nonchalantly trying to look busy. Skip the store, just buy your stuff online.

    Teach your cashiers NOT to ignore customers! ONE cashier was open on Saturday afternoon, ashier was helping a customer who forgot an item or a price and was running to the back of the store. The customer was gone for sometime now. The cashier was just standing there and I had one $11 bully stick in my hand , she should have taken me in instead of starting at me and not saying a word. The client came back and to they were still doing something, she was checking her items out. I was just standing there, no one ever sayd anything to me. The second cashier opens up, oh, no, he didn't take me....he took a brand new customer that just walked in, and then the one after her....still stuck at cashier #1 and I was next...no one ever said anything to me. I left the items and left. Horrible

    Brought my Great Pyrenees in for the first time. They told me over 5 hours bc it was a big job, then they called me 3 hours in and said they couldn’t do anymore. When I went to pick him up he had a huge white gash on the top of his nose. I’m not sure what they have going on back there, but I don’t feel like my dog was cared for or even given the time to complete the job.

    Not happy with how we were treated here today. We got a few cans of wet puppy food, an easy Walker for one of our older dogs, and a fish and set up ($130). The whole time one of the male workers just kept coming up to us asking if we need something. Made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. As well as immediately after the announcement the store was closing soon; he again came up to us and said the store is closing. Just rude and we will go to pet land from now on when we take the dogs for a walk for supplies and make the drive to pet supplies plus in streamwood otherwise.

    So tonight, we were “that” customer and showed up with two minutes left until closing. We were in an emergency and the two ladies saved the day. There is no way that our two new and very rare animals would have had a good meal tonight. We also got cute shirts for the dogs because why not right? Thanks to them and their overwhelming kindness our two little friends are off to a great start after having an eventful day. We are beyond thankful and sincerely apologetic for keeping the store open a few minutes longer. We know it was inconvenient to their personal lives but are SO thankful for them. You’re amazing people!!!

    Always friendly staff willing to help you with any questions you have. Grooming services are also great. Thank you Marta for helping us chose leash for Freya and all the advices on how to keep her busy. Best Petco store in the suburbs.

    The staff is amazing, and very welcoming. 5 stars for them!! However I am very disappointed that Petco does not Groom pets on medication. Denying care is unacceptable. I pay monthly and to not be able to use the Grooming options I find pointless. I will stop paying and take my Money else where.

    Probably the cleanest petco I've ever been in to be honest... anyway, I just went to check out their fish section. Long story short I left with some ember tetras as well two corycats. (The lady who helped me and my brother was super nice! Would definitely be back)

    I just wanted to share my experience if you ever get grooming done here. I would think twice they damage my dogs eyes and the store manager had no sympathy towards him.I had to take him to the ER and the doctor stated it was cause by either getting shampoo in his eyes or leaving him in the blow drying station too long.

    I brought my Australian Shepherd in for the 1st time grooming. Kirsten did a great job with trimming her up and brushing her out. I always get nervous that a groomer will take too much hair off my shepherd and she won't look like a Aussie anymore. I was very happy with the final results, that I even booked her next appointment.

    The staff appear to be nice people until you leave your dog. They mistreat dogs! Don't leave your dog! Spoke to the manager (Don) he sounded nonchalant about the whole situation.

    Customer since 2011. PetCo specializes in "healthy" pet products. PetCo's recent initiative in the past few years involved the permanent removal of products that are not safe for Pets to consume. They are a highly trusted location for my aging dog who will soon be 12 Years Old. They have a "Pet Treat Buffet" which allows you to hand pick from. They also have some products that I have not been able to find at other Pet Store Chains. Very Clean Store. Very Friendly Staff.

    the store is huge, way bigger than the one closer to where i live that i have been going to. there was a huge selection, also bigger than the one i have been going to. the store was super clean and organized and the staff was friendly. definitely going to be checking this store out again!

    Going out of business? What is going on? Went to other locations and they're fantastic. Shelves empty, dirty, super dark lighting, and usually only one employee in the entire store.

    If I could give 100 stars I would. Not all heroes wear capes! We stopped in to buy dog food and ended up having to shelter here due to an unexpected tornado warning. My young kids were extremely scared and multiple staff members went above and beyond to calm and cheer my kids up…they let them pet the adoption kitties, shared the gourmet dog treats, offered us chairs and comfortable places to sit while we waited out the storm. Truly amazing empathy and customer service with the entire team, and I will never forget this experience. Huge shout out to Terry, Don, Tati and Marta! ❤️This location is an hour away from our home but I will make sure to visit for all of our pet needs as the team is truly next level awesome!
