They didn't have the reservation, the room for obvious reasons was not ready. The maid started to clean the room and then disappeared during for 20 minutes. The room was still unkept and dirty, there was holes in the wall that a headboard used to be attached to. The staff where unprofessional. The maid openly flirted with my boyfriend making him very uncomfortable. I went out to smoke a cigarette and the security guard was rude, asked who I was waiting for, my response was how are you doing, I'm not waiting for anyone, I came out to smoke a cigarette then going back in. He said, that's my nephew's room. I said no, he said when did you rent it? Tonight? Yes..he proceeded to go to the maids room, apparently they all live there, and awoke her at 2 am to be sure I wasn't lying, she was 2 doors down. Never again will I ever stay nor recommend the Knights Inn South Bend, Indiana

Visited here and is not a place you want to frequent. It's part of the homeless project and what you cant help but wonder is how can there be so many who do not care about anything and how does that become part of the legal system?. Of the many times I've spent with the homeless I just keep coming back to the place where I first believed and being thankful that God Has Smiled On Me.

I will have to admit. The outside of the complex seems rather rough but the tennets are nice as well as management. The inside of the rooms are very nice for their size. It clean the bathrooms are nice. The drive in has some good size pot holes that need to be repaired otherwise drive with caution.

Location was convenient as we were not far from exit and extremely sleepy. I did not care to view the room from opening the door and entering. I was shocked as we pulled back to the last building. Trash, old furniture, mattresses and persons sitting out. I was frightened. I got a refund within ten minutes or less. The lady in office was polite.

It deserves zero stars I did not have a light in the bathroom the heat did not work there were holes in the walls half the outlets we're smashed in and there were cockroaches in the room no matter how cheap it is it's not worth it please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I didn't stay for more then an hour after waiting 30 minutes for a room.

This place needs to be condemned immediately. I understand it's currently a place for the homeless but I would not let a homeless animal stay there. It's doing the homeless no good if they don't have heat/Air and can't take a bath. If I could give it a zero I would

Super happy about the price...like wow $45....bet! Was waived a $5 fee for the room key (uh what?) Because I dont carry cash. Room had a bullet hole thru the wall and smelled like a meth lab (not sure actually jus smelled like strong chemicals) People next to us were selling drugs from their room and even offered me some Other than that...the room was ok...bit dirty but ok

The fact that you can smoke in the rooms is the best thing about this place. And every room does come with a mini fridge and microwave. BUT, the ground had settled so the floor is uneven. The door has obviously been kicked in before, and hasn't been properly repaired, so security is an issue. The TV's are small 19" older models. The carpet looks like it's from the Disco era. So far I've only seen one roach but I'm only here for a few hours until I get to the airport. So if you're broke and NEED to smoke, this if the place for you! Otherwise, run for your life.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. We checked in and checked out not even 10 minutes later. Disgusting. Shoe prints on the wall. The smoke detector was detached. No remote to the TV. Food on the floor. Nails hanging out of the door frame. The tub had cigarette burns on the side. The blankets were dirty. There were no pillow cases on the pillows. They were wrapped in a blanket. I will be calling the board of health once checked into my new hotel. I made sure to take pictures as well!

Motels4Now program for the homeless, environment is very toxic and unsafe, poor management, low barrier which means a lot of horrible decisions without consequences, favoritism, NOT SAFE FOR KIDS!

This place is helping people transition from homelessness to relocation into a place to live and it's being run by a great guy who cares about the people who stay there!
