I have visited Crystal Palace twice in the last week or so and my experience was less than pleasant. The first time was to inquire about a particular Batman statue displayed in the front window. I was told the man who handles that part of the business was not in. The woman who helped me knew nothing about the statue but took down my number and said she would call me. I never heard back. I returned to look for a mother's day gift and perhaps check back on the statue again. Apparently I had just missed the guy a second time, though one of the employees was able to get in touch and give me a price. When I reached to examine the statue though she recoiled as if concerned I would break it. I wasn't satisfied with the condition of the paint and decided to decline. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the shopping experience I had looking for the gift. I asked if they had any giraffes as that is my mother's favorite animal. I was scoffed at as if my question was ridiculous. Additionally, two of the employees made multiple comments about pricing, saying things like "I'm not sure if you want to go that high" before even giving me a price- as if to imply I couldn't afford what they had on offer. Perhaps it was the fact that I was dressed very casually, but I got the distinct feeling they had very little interest in me as a customer. Finding nothing I was interested in, I proceeded to a neighboring store I frequent where the staff were extremely friendly and helpful as always. They even carry some of the same collectibles and were charging less than Crystal Palace. I was happy to give them my money instead.

For a place to be in business for 30 years on Main Street in Somerville, they must be doing something right. We were greeted nicely and provided with a high level of customer service. Around every corner, they had so many different collections of items. I would imagine there would be something for everyone here.

I went in for a wedding gift for a friend. I was looking for some Crystal Flutes. The staff was extremely unhelpful and very rude. The prices also were super high. I ended up going to Macy’s and finding some beautiful Waterford ones and they were $25 cheaper.

Beautiful collection of items and friendly staff on the floor. However once I was ready to pay, I received a different experience. The middle aged blond hair woman behind the counter was so rude! She tossed my ornament into the box and when I asked if I can fix it before she tapes it up, she says do whatever you want. I asked to get it wrapped and she ignored me. If she's there again, I'm not coming in.

The people in this store were incredibly nice, and very helpful!!! They had really amazing pieces and Jim shores which were really awesome! I have never seen such a big selection before, and great prices! Overall will definitely be going back again :))))

I discovered the Crystal Palace in search of the perfect xmas gift for my wife. The staff was extremely helpful, Mary helped me select the most wonderful gift. I found Mary to be extremely in the know about all the different items, as they have wide variety of inventory to choose from. Despite me asking many questions Mary remained extremely friendly throughout my shopping experience. Kudos to the Crystal Palace, a real hidden gem! I'll certainly be back.

I went here last night and buy funkos. It was a great experience, the lady in the store is so helpful and attentive. I will go here again tonight! They have huge collection of rare pops and out of the store pops.

Prices are absolutely absurd. Especially the funko pops, if you want to get one for regular price then you gotta wait until it goes on “SALE.” 😒 they tried selling me a funko pop for $60 and when I asked to look at it the back of the box looked like it got stuck in a wood chipper. I immediately said I wasn’t interested and that bothered the lady. Store itself has no focus. Like is it an antique store? A comic shop? Make up your mind. Looks desperate. Theres even junk there that shouldn’t even be sold. Place is like a goodwill for rich people. How does that even work? Lol. Anyways I cant wait till they go out of business. Hopefully we’ll get a store that isn’t trying to scam every customer. Would love to know when the going out of business sale is though. Maybe I can get a funko or two for a reasonable price.

I absolutely loved this place first time I visited with a friend I was greeted kindly and the environment is so sweet. I spent time speaking with a customer on what to get because the selection is huge!!!! I got a little Disney stitch figure from the display and is adorable!!! The woman at the front desk was working on calls but made sure to talk to me before I left :) :) incredibly sweet and offered me and my friend a job because we loved our experience so much I will definitely be returning!! Maybe even working there :)

Absolutely love the collection here! Very lovely and engaged staff. The Swarovski items are very lovely and worth the price!

This is a fun store and the young people who work there are friendly and helpful.

Horrible online shopping experience it's been 2 weeks since I placed order, no shipping, no answering to my multiple emails. They don't even pick up the phone. The message saying mailbox is full call back later. Had to open a case to with my bank to get my money bac, still waiting. The worst store to buy from.
