Really small and cozy “Diner” pleasant waitress - the food was OK - not seasoned. Some salt and pepper and I was good to go. The coffee was a 4 on a scale from 1 to 10 and the food 6. The blueberry pancakes was not too tasty or savory. I like Diners - something about that home cook feeling. I’m on the fence on this place not sure if I’ll be back or not.

Now this is how to do a Diner experience! This place seems to have been built around a train car and adds to the ambiance. From the great staff (Maria is who served us) to the awesome stories the yokels tell (Rich was sharing a great story of how things used to be around these parts) to the best Corned Beef Hash I have ever had in my life! Who knew it was supposed to be served hot! This is one diner you should park yourself at if you ever find yourself in Manville! Even though it’s out of the way for us, this is a place we will visit again!

Manville diner has been one of my favorite diners ever since I was little. However, the new ownership has ruined it. The food is nowhere near as good and I don't appreciate that they let go of all the staff that have been there my whole life. Just no longer happen with this establishment.

The last few times we ordered it was meh but last week was delicious! Stick to diner food and it’s great! Their appetizer platter had literally the best fried zucchini sticks ever! Matzah ball soup was amazing, turkey club was delicious and I always get the same panini. Their fries can be hit or. It’s but swap them for onion rings and you won’t be disappointed! Prices def went up :( but the food was good!

I've lived in Manville for 3 years and this was the first time I stepped into this place after hearing so many good things about it. I'm not going to lie, this place is probably the cutest thing on Manville and the staff is super friendly and very welcoming. They know their customers by name and may I say they have their food ready before they get there. Speaking of food, WOW! Their portions are absolutely phenomenal! They taste as good as they look. I would def recommend this spot over the Bridgewater and Time to Eat Diner. P.S. For all you Rutgers kids. They have day sandwiches!!!

Such a great local spot! The Manville diner is always clean, offers great diner food, at great prices. I've eaten breakfast and dinner here and the food is always good. For the price, it's definitely one of the best values around. I also love that it's squeezed into the corner of the block. It feels cozy and exactly what a great local eatery should be.

Manville Diner feels intimate right when you walk in. An old gumball machine greets you at the front before you pick your seat. The restaurant has maybe 15 to 20 booths and lets you see into the kitchen. The low curved ceilings and tilework bring together this throwback feel. Because the diner is small only a few people work at a time, but the service is still very good. The prices felt fair and the portions were pretty big. My create your own "Fat-wich" combined cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks, french fries and bacon which were a nice combination. The steak and roll were reasonably similar to something from Philly or South Jersey. The bacon and mozzarella sticks were a welcomed crispy addition. Overall, the Manville Diner is a cozy place for comfortable food.

For years, I loved going to this local diner for breakfast and dinner as the food and friendly staff were great!. Unfortunately it was recently sold and now the food is terrible as is the atmosphere of the place! This is the second time I have been there under the new owners and again my food was very bad. I ordered breakfast and the bacon was dry and looked and tasted like old leather and the sausage was just as bad. Another good place gone bad! Stay away!!!

Classic tiny old-school diner in the heart of Manville. Great food at a great price. Since moving to the area about a year ago, I’ve been trying many of the diners around with my ma and this has been far and away the best over-all. Love their chicken-fried steak and eggs.
