As usual, the food is really good. Tried harabara kabab, tandoor soya chaaps and veg samosa. Samosa was ok but the rest of them are amazing!! Masala fries here are the best at any day!! BYOB is an advantage…. My friend took the chicken fried rice and chicken keema roll and he was thrilled with the taste of fried rice. He said that it is the best fried rice that he had in any indian restaurant…. Only drawback was the service to the table. They are understaffed and the service to the table has room for improvement… and this is the reason for 4 stars….

Hands down the best North Indian food I have had in the US. It’s authentic North Indian cuisine and you will not get any surprises. We have almost become a regular going to this restaurant every weekend. I had also ordered catering service for a party and the quality and quantity both were really impressive. The owner was very accommodating and even followed up to see if the restaurant had met our expectations. Everything tastes delicious here but the aloo chat, paneer kali mirch and soya chap dishes are out of this world. So glad to have found this place.

This restaurant had great google reviews so we decided to check it out with high hopes. But sorry to say, we were hugely disappointed. We ordered malai chicken kebab and was expecting juicy, succulent, creamy chicken pieces but to our utter surprise it had no malai or chicken pieces but instead made with minced chicken with lots of fillers. See the picture. I have never eaten malai kebab like this ever!! Second, we tried the chicken chili cheese kebab which had lots of chilis but again no cheese at all. The third dish that we ordered was dhaba style chicken curry and it was pretty good. I like it spicy so no complaints. Be careful if you can’t handle spicy better to all for a toned down version.

I am always in search of a new Indian restaurant and ended up going to delhi 6. Please don't go to this place with your family especially if you have small kids I suggest don't make them eat here. The restaurant is filthy, house flies everywhere. If you need to use their bathroom please avoid. Now the food review Ordered lasooni Gobi.. it was extremely soft and almost swallowed a plastic screw which was stuffed into the gobi. Thankfully I did not choke. When I reported to the waiter they apologized and asked me how did it come into the food. How am I supposed to know? Lol. Very carless people. Chole bhature ; chole was made using the canned chickpeas. We repeatedly told them to make it spicy but they conveniently ignored. Bhature was well made but since the house flies were too much to handle I just couldn't enjoy it. I am not trying to shut down this place but cleanliness and making the food is a prerequisite when we pay a lot of money and to be served food that is both health and safety hazard is not acceptable.

The staff is so nice, very courteous and helpful. The food is amazing. The best kebabs and the curries are great too. It takes a little time for obvious reasons they make them when you order. Fresh, hot and delicious. The service is great. It’s a small place, probably mostly take out, but there is space inside to sit and eat. It’s a BYOB

I tried their Tandoori soya chaap and it was absolutely amazing and delicious. Very fresh tasting and full of flavor. It reminded me of similar taste and quality we get back in India. !! Even the owner and people who work there are very sweet and nice. Definitely coming back to this one.

Absolutely one of the best North Indian foods in nj !! I’m a food critic and it’s tough to impress me on authentic food but trust me this place has by far exceeded my expectations. Food quality is great, inside ambience is chill and service is prompt. One can go in for a casual dinner and will not miss authentic taste. Way to set up a good restaurant

I have been to this restaurant more than couple of times and have never been disappointed. I decide to do catering for my in house party. I ordered soya chap, panner jalfrazi, mail kofta & laccha parathas. Food was definitely amazing all the guest appreciated the food. As a host, since I was busy attending guests, I enjoyed the food next day. The panner was still soft, mail kofta was creamy and tasted well and laccha parathas were also soft. I couldn’t enjoy the soya chaps as it was all finished. Overall the party was success as the food was relished by all. I would recommend this place.

We went on Saturday night for Alaa carte with a friends group and for all us it was our first time at this place. As the restaurant is named after a city in India called, Delhi; which is very popular for variety of North Indian food this place didn’t do justice to it. We order multiple appetisers and everything was so bad in taste, the paneer 65 has mustard seeds in it LOL! The only one item which was fairly good was papdi chat. Everything else in a bill of about $120 was a waste. Highly disappointed!

Best Indian food in town. We often order take out or dine in, my family loves the taste of the food. I had catering from Delhi 6 for the first time and the food was really good. All my guest loved the taste of the food. Service is always outstanding, weather it's a take out, dine in or catering. Definitely recommend Delhi 6 to anyone!!

We went here Sunday night by 10 pm. They were one among the few Indian restaurants who is open after 10 pm. They said we need to wait for 30 min as they were cleaning the kitchen. But after 50 min they gave our food. Momos was good but the butter paneer did not have any flavor. But very disappointing thing is, they served our entire food in plastic boxes and plastic fork and spoons. Paneer gravy was too hot and they served it in plastic box. The dessert was good but again they served a plastic box and with a low quality plastic spoon. They really spoiled our dinner. I am not sure they show the shop as open and cleaning the kitchen when the shop is open for customers and serving in plastic plates and cups. Very disappointing.

This was my first time at Delhi-6 and it stayed true to its name. They started right by serving some papad and chutneys. Deepak K. was welcoming and courteous host. He suggested an appetizer which was not on the menu and we loved it - Paneer Corn tikki, Delicious. The test was authentic for every dish we ordered. We ordered Kadai Paneer, Daal tadka, Garlic naan, butter naan and Tandoori Roti. Every curry is served with a small size rice. Though it took sometime as they were short staff but good things take time. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Quantity was also good. This is a BYOB place and the Liquor store is right next door. Music selection and the ambiance was great. Décor was simple yet elegant. I also ended up ordering some take out as well - Samosas and Achari Paneer Kati Roll. Again both were very tasty. Deepak also happen to mention they have midnight menu. I have attached it here. From 10 PM to 2AM. I was skeptical about trying this place as the previous establishment(Rice and Rolls) was not good in quality of food or the service but the name delhi-6 convinced me to try it. I will certainly return to Delhi-6 to try some delhi's famous choley kulche/bhature and their wide selection of Indo-Chinese. I think I can say its one of the best North Indian food in Piscataway. Thank you Deepak and Delhi-6.

Today I ordered this dishes from Delhi 6 i.e., Veg Manchurian , Schezwan momos and egg fried rice. Everything was so perfectly made and I should definitely talk about veg manchurian, wahhh it has my heart 🥹, it just reminded me of my Hyderabad days and food. I’m happy to be able to find a restaurant with authentic Indian food because I tried 2-3 Indian restaurants in this area before and was disappointed with the taste and the service and one more thing with Delhi 6 is that it prepares food with all the instructions you provide, as I asked the restaurant to make manchurian more gravy and they made it exactly how I told 👏🏻. Just waiting to go for dine-in and try almost all.

I come from Chandigarh and visited this restaurant on my visit to USA. We were quite impressed with the name Delhi 6 .This place is Absolutely fantastic place to visit. Charming ambience, Great food quality is worth repeat visits. Service is qood and prompt. A very nice place to have a quality meal with your friends and family. Food: we tried typical spicy north Indian food veg as well as non veg and it was a feeling as we are eating at some famous Delhi joint. Taste was so well balanced with taste and spices that it was finger licking tasty. Service: Staffs looks well groomed, The manager was so welcoming and warm and was courteous enough to introduce us to the recipes and flavours of the food served. The service staff was well mannered neat and hygienic. I extend my special thanks to the owner of place who was an Indian, an extremely warm, positive man who was so good with his beautiful smile and after he came to know that we were visiting from India he offered us special regards. Ambience : is absolutely welcoming. In and around states, I found among a rare few. This place has been neatly maintained and a sustainable ambience. Once you are in, you are in the decorated place. Just except you might face usual Indian struggle till its door. Recommendation: A must visit place. Your repeat visit is the owner's responsibility what they earn from you.

Very tasty food, Kabab’s are Excellent and reasonably priced! You should consider making your midnight menu regular! Strongly recommend this place if you are looking for tasty Indian food. Update: I ordered the same Chicken chop today but 3/5 pieces was stale Meat. Chicken was Rubbery and hard to chew. Too bad so I am down grading my rating.

Enjoyed the Indian delicacies. Great food and ambience. Small and cozy place. Good for family dinner and some personal time. Tried appetizers like Manchurian and Samosa Chaat. Naan and Lacha Paratha were really tasty.

WOW! Delicious food. Everything from start to finish was delicious. I ate here today with my son. I got a bunch to take home, as my wife would cut me if I didn't. We had samosas, chicken momos, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, palak paneer, chana masala, chicken tikka masala. Staff was warm and friendly. I live about 1 hour away but will definitely stop when I'm in the area.

Authentic north Indian food near with great taste, good ambience, super service, best budget and moreover bringing Delhi taste in NJ. What else do you want if you get all these in one place??. Please do visit the restaurant as you will be surprised by the quality and quantity of the food they serve in Piscataway, which is 5 miles from Edison, NJ neighborhood. Much better than the Edison, NJ hyped restaurant and you will not regret your decision to try at least once here. NOTE: They will not charge any service fee here unlike other restaurants but be generous in tipping as you will see the value after your meals.

I have picked up 2 plates of veg Manchurian wet. The Manchurian balls are not cooked properly. They are not fried enough and its like eating a dough inside. The gravy was fine. Felt like they are in hurry to complete the order on time.

Never knew this place existed! I was craving Indian food like always and googled nearby restaurants. Thank goodness for Google because I stumbled upon this place! I was in luck because I was able to order quickly online for pickup and since I was leaving work the food would be ready about a half hour so it was perfect timing from work to this place. I ordered chili garlic noodles, chili chicken in gravy and chicken tikka w/ garlic naan. Upon arriving, I was able to walk in and get my food asap with no wait (thankfully because I ordered ahead). So to the food…I must say EVERYTHING had awesome flavor! Nothing was lacking! The chicken tikka had a tad bit excess oil floating on top which isn’t my thing but I was able to skim off the top. The dishes had good chunks of meat wasn’t stingy like other places, and also the prices aren’t bad at all. You really get bang for your buck. It’s so rare to find hidden gems like Delhi 6 that have perfected their dishes! The only thing I wish I could have asked for was a side of red onions. I know usually some Indian restaurants give you a small dish of them on the side, so I figured it would be like that too..but no biggie, there’s always next time. I can’t wait to try every thing else on their menu! They’ve gained a loyal customer!

Must visit if you are a foodie and really want to get the authentic Indian taste. I’ve tried so many restaurants but never gave any review because never liked the food but at this place I’m forced to write because that’s the quality and taste of food. Try anything and you would love it ❤️
