Full review on my vegan food travel blog: I Travel For Vegan Food The Green Edge is a dream for vegans. Everything here, including the groceries and the cafe, is vegan. You wouldn't need to check the ingredient labels anymore (but you probably would anyway). It’s walking distance from Windsor Station which is only a few stops from the city. They also have parking available. In the cafe, you will find a large selection of cafe comfort food like burgers, pancakes, mac & cheese and more. Be sure to add one of their frappe to go with the food. I especially love the snickers flavour. The food quality is generally pretty good, although some dishes can be a bit under-seasoned. Green Edge also has a wide range of products in their shop section, including some harder to find snacks that are not usually seen in supermarkets. Other than groceries, they also carry makeup, house supplies, and even shoes, recipe books and more.

Honestly cannot fault this place. Their eggs Benedict is the best thing I have eaten in my entire life. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to provide amazing food and service. This is definitely going to be a regular cafe for me and my wife. Genuinely delicious.

Lovely speciality grocer with a good selection of items, a great cafe attached, slightly expensive but for the quality and variety of products in a small grocer, I’ll definitely be back. Throughly impressed with the selection of candy, food, makeup and enviro goodies available. Their cafe is a great place to come in for vegan baked goods like tasty pies and croissants that are hard to find. The freezer and fridge section is chock full of locally made cheeses, pies and ready meals. I also got my Christmas roast which I’m super excited for!

The Green Edge has been a family favourite since we discovered it in 2016. We have witnessed this place grow change and adapt over the years to provide consistently delicious food. However, whilst the menu hasn't changed dramatically in this time, the prices have and where it was a little on the expensive side from the beginning, I was surprised on my last visit some of the prices of the fan favourites! We would love to see dinners back on the menu and perhaps some live music or something to encourage patrons to dine in and stay in for longer. P.s the Ceasar salad has been one of my favourite takeaway dishes which I highly recommend.

I was very excited to finally visit, especially after seeing the great reviews here. I went with my boss (which is also a chef) and we had a similar opinion about the service & the food. Food: we had the Cauliflower Buffalo Wings ($12) and the Bowl of chips ($10) to start. The mains were the Pesto Mushroom Fettuccine ($19), Lasagna ($19) and ordered The Big Zing burger (however, we got The Origin ($23) by mistake. Drink: I had the Snickers Frappe, added Whipped Cream ($10.5) I'll start by saying that the service wasn't great. I had to go after the waitress (after I gave up on waiting for her to look at us) and ask for salt as the pasta was completely tasteless. I had to add 2 sachets to be able to eat it. TWO. The lasagne was mediocre and the burger looked good although it wasn't the one we ordered. The sauce of the Wings tasted super artificial and the cauliflower was probably frozen. The best things were the bowl of chips and the frappe. I felt sad that such a famous place like this didn't care to put any effort in making fresh food. The dare to say the food just tasted wrong. I believe that The Green Edge is a great place to have because they have their groceries store and vegan options but OMG. We felt like they stopped in time and stopped putting effort into their dishes and service. Just disappointing. Sadly, I would definitely not go back 😔

Always so happy with the food here, the only downfall would be having to pay so much extra for gluten free bread. The bread is great, maybe you could do a deal that you stock the loaves in the grocery store and customers could buy the loaf and use some slices in their breakfast or lunch and then take the bread home.

This little supermarket has many specialty brands that are hard to find. The store and cafe is for anyone, you don't need to be vegan. The products are plant based and I especially love their range of teas. The cafe is very popular and has some outdoor covid safe seating.

The Green Edge does wonders once again! Took some people who had never had vegan food and were blown away by the amazing tastes and flavours brought by these dishes. We got the mango pinacolada, strawberry and cream frappe, VFC meal, truffle toastie and ham tomato and cheese toastie. Great service, atmosphere and wonderful staff members as usual.

One of my favourite cafes. Wish it was closer but we still travel just for it. Love that there's something for any mood you're in, and my favourite breakfast option (Vegan eggs benny) never disappoints. Great grocery store attached - yes can be a bit pricey but for the convenience and range, I am willing to grab a few things each time we dine here. Would love if it was open for dinner a few nights a week as it was years ago. Very dog friendly too, which we love!

Took my parents out for lunch today, it was spectacular. Very good food, the grocery store that's a part of them is fantastic, a great place to dine and buy pure Vegan food. Excellent customer service definitely would go back and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try. 10/10

Great, all-vegan grocery store (no fresh produce, bread). Snack foods, frozen meat-alternatives, refrigerated dairy-alternatives, packaged staples, pet food and lots more. Cheesecakes and other sweet treats. Try the biscoff cake truffle! The café has indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast menu until 11:00 am; drinks until 3:00 pm; lunch menu 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Beverages (shakes, coffees, teas, frappés), wraps, bowls, salads, pancakes, burgers, pasta dishes, nachos, a curry and fried ‘chicken’ meals. The Breakfast Burger, A$18.90, is very good, and The Scramble was a large portion. Store open every day 8 am to 5 pm. Café open and beverages available until 3 pm. Lunch menu 11 am to 3 pm.

Wow thank you for a mouth watering breakfast we absolutely loved our meal. We have been wanting to visit here since ages ago, so happy we finally made it out for a early Father’s Day brekkie. Great store for all vegan/plant base cravings. 8.5 months vegan we are both winning at life. I recommend eating here weekdays so you get a spot. Enjoy 🌱😍

This is what vegan heaven looks like. Have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal. Menu has a wide variety and every time is perfectly cooked, well presented and good portion sizes. Lovely staff and nice spacious dining area with indoor and outdoor seating. I only wish they were open for dinner 🥲 The store has the best vegan & eco-friendly grocery selection in Brissy too, with lots of stuff you can’t find anywhere else. One of my favourite restaurants ever, will be back again and again 😌

I love the green edge. This place has the most amazing plant based food in all of Brisbane. Whenever I am in town, I make sure I stop by here. The shop also has all the goodies you would ever need. Staff always make you feel welcome and smiling. I miss this place everytime I leave Brisbane. I'll need to move back

Absolutely loved the Green Edge. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I had the Vegan Fried Chicken with mash, coleslaw and gravy. It's such a reasonable price and so filling and ridiculously delicious! Highly recommend!

Tasty food, and good variety to choose from. It was not too noisy or crowded. The music was also enjoyable, appropriate and not too loud.

Awesome Cafe with heaps of delicious options to eat and drink. Very cosy and pretty inside. The waffles and breakfast burger were great!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great access and very conveniently located. Amazing menu, great prices, more than decent serving sizes and definitely value for money. Nice to find a place that was 100% vegan.

Found the shop on the internet as I was after a vegan fetta cheese. Found that and loads more so took my wife there for breakfast and a shop. If you are like us experimenting with wholefood plant based this is a shop and a café well worth a visit. Really should be 6 stars being both café and shop.

Great food and friendly staff members. Mushroom dish we had was nice with lots of salad. A little disappointed that our first order of Korean chicken burger was not available but hopefully we get to try it next time :-) Thank you.

Awesome vegan supermarket with added cafe and restaurant. I personally can vouch for the VFC and love their delicious frappes. Parking is available onsite. Wheelchair accessible. Lovely staff, all vegan menu.

Honestly if I could give more stars I would. We stopped in for some breakfast and I tried a vegan “Eggs” Benny. It was a spectacular success. Lisa had the southern Crispy chicken pancakes and I tried some of that as well. Everything here is plant based, and I’m going to say everything is going to be as good as the two things I tried. It wouldn’t matter if you are vegan or not. Taste is taste and this stuff tasted sensational. Delicious flavours, the hollandaise sauce made me want to lick the plate (seriously). We also picked up some. Stuff to take away on the grocery store afterwards. Oh and the coffee was delicious too.

It’s my second visit to the green edge for food and a trip in to the market part where you pay after the meal. The service was great, the outdoor seating was great and the food delicious. The price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food. Highly recommend.

Was absolutely amazing! I'm originally from Sydney and have been meaning to visit this place for the longest time but live in the Gold coast. After being in the area I finally bit the bullet and can confidently say I don't regret it! The food was balanced, every element worked great together and the staff was awesome. We got the full English breakfast with a tropical juice, dirty chai and butterscotch latte and while the juice was also awesome, the coffee was the best I've had in queensland so far. If you are in the area VISIT! So so worth it.

Such a peaceful spot to sit and have brekky, staff are lovely, coffee is some of the best coffee you will find in this part of Queensland and the food is to die for. Highly recommend coming here whether you're vegan or not :)

Food and drinks are always made with fresh ingredients, good portion size and taste delicious. Menus seems a little overpriced IMO considering the ingredients used are not too expensive…

I travelled far to come to this awesome vegan cafe and supermarket! I loved all the grocery items they had and spent a bunch of money. I also got a smoothie, a burger and chips, and a brownie to take away. All of it was so delicious specially the brownie! The young woman who served me was particularly lovely too and the food came really quick. I can’t wait to go back. Definitely recommend for anyone not just vegans.

Such incredible food! Absolutely love the Veggie Burger, it has the most delicious veggie patty and sauces! The hashbrown is so good and the Chai Latte was incredible! I also love going in to the vegan shop after eating to browse. 😃

I love coming here to get delicious vegan meals from the cafe and then getting some groceries from the retail store. One of my favourite little places in Brisbane 💚

Other than the amazingly delicious customised food, the service was beautiful. Communication with staff was smooth. Our order mistakenly got missed when transferring to their digital system upon ordering. When we realised, the staff was not fussed at all, they came to speak to us and apologised. Then we got a beautiful dish with an extra hashbrown quickly. This place is always bustling and it is apparent why ~ when the food is beautiful and we feel taken care of, why wouldn't it be. We had the mushroom and the tofu scramble. Both was absolutely scrumptious. The tofu scramble even had a nice addition of pearl oyster mushroom which is not something you see in Western brunch places~ the creamy mushroom dish was a good size with abundant deliciously flavoured mushroom on top of a buttery 🧈 sourdough. Thank you green edge for two wonderful exerpeiences! We will be bringing more friends to here for more brunches.

I love this shop, they have so many varieties of vegan products, a frozen vegan food section, many kinds of cakes and sweet treats. Along the grocery store they have a vegan cafe which has wonderful vegan burgers and a large selection of dishes which I wish I could try them all. The staff are exceptionally friendly always have a welcoming smile

Good food and polite enough service. Very overpriced though and the small things, like a $23 burger that doesn’t come with chips, mean I always leave less than impressed. Even the cake prices are ridiculous, unfortunately. We only visit for special occasions now but I can definitely see it going the same way as other vegan places in recent years

Quality vegan food that tastes about as good as you'll find

I have been a loyal customer since it opened and I enjoy the choices available in the grocery story and love the cafe food. The joy of finding almost anything you can think of in vegan form hasn't died after all these years. Also, I can't seem to eat anything else but the vegan "eggs' Benni (as shown) and the gingerbread chai, when I go for breakfast.

The food here is always amazing, and the range of groceries and other items you can find here is great.

Close parking. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. They sell a good variety of both frozen, refrigerated and store cupboard foods. The restaurant is bright, clean, and warm, as it's a blustery winter's day. I had the mushroom hotpot with several slices of buttered toast. Lovely. I would be happy to have this for lunch on a daily basis. My friend ordered the big breakfast and it was as advertised, big with bold flavours, and a vegan 'poached' egg( which I thought was impressive.) They also have a very comprehensive range of sweets, everything from custard filled doughnuts, decadent brownies to cheesecakes and almond croissants. My only regret is that I didn't think ahead and indulge my love of the sweet and bring some home for tea.

Amazing food and amazing customer service! ordered both the double beef and cheese burger and was not disappointed :) The The big Zing was very tasty as well but the alternative chicken they use puts me off just a little, otherwise a great place to shop and spend some quality time with friends or family.

I had an amazing lunch here and will came again, everything I tried was delicious and the service pretty good too. In the shop you can find anything vegan that you might need. I wish there were more places like this one around Brisbane.

I love the grocery section here! Everything is definitely a bit more on the pricey end but I can always find the best vegan alternative here. Love the atmosphere and customer service, they’re always super friendly and happy to help! I used to dine here a lot but I haven’t been recently because I think they’ve changed chefs a few times. The best food I’ve had was around 5 years ago when I first tried their food. But willing to give it another shot soon.

Food was amazing and customer service was incredible. The meals can be a little pricy, but it is high quality stuff. It's a full plate, if you haven't eaten for a few days this is the place to go. I ordered waffles and pancakes with a friend and we couldn't finish the food, so I recommend to share one between two or something like that, but overall its a great place, great value and friendly staff.

Great vegan restaurant, cafe & grocery store with delicious in house food. The store has a large variety of vegan products from pet food, frozen meals pantry items and protein powders. Great place to have a breakfast/lunch then do some shopping :) There is also a cake fridge with tasty vegan treats.

Amazing food, service and really fair pricing. Absolutely love their Frappes- who knew vegan frappes could be so good and reasonably priced?! So yum! Also the eggs benni is sublime. Highly highly recommend! Baked goods, vegan cafe, groceries and good coffee, The Green Edge is the bomb!

Always great food and service so they deserve 5 star. But always call ahead to check if they’re open, I’ve come 3 times where they have been closed yet it says open on google maps, they need to update google more regularly as it wastes hundreds of customers hours.

Went to Brisbane last week for a holiday and this cafe had by far the best food I ate! They had a MASSIVE vegan menu, so many delicious options! Try the cauliflower buffalo wings, you wont regret it. The staff were absolutely beautiful, could not fault the service. I wish I could take this cafe back to Cairns! Highly recommend if you're vegan and even if you're not, it won't disappoint.

A great range of vegan foods and alternatives, but being one of the only vegan grocers in the area means prices can be a bit high on some items. Highly recommend sitting down for a meal as the food is amazing. Your non-vegan friends wouldn't know the difference on some of the menu items

The dish I ordered was well thought out with pleasant flavour combinations and was fresh. Unfortunately, the morning I visited the coffee machine was broken, but their juice was brilliant and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this place even to non-vegetarians/vegans.

A quick stop here yesterday morning for a coffee. Love their coconut chai. Been here a few times, the staff are quite nice and welcoming. Haven’t tried any of their desserts or meals yet but their cheesecakes and other pastries looked quite yum, and everything in here is vegan, the only thing I’m not pleased with is that most of their products are pricy. Other than that, it’s a nice vegan cafe/brunch joint.

Expensive but extensive range of vegan items all in one place. The convenience is worth the price tag and things are often on sale. I love the extensive range of vegan cheeses.
