Lovely place. Food is great. Sort of authentic. I guess authentic enough if you are not german or bavarian. Very friendly and professional staff. Great selection of beers. Snapps..ahh different story. It's a bit of a gamble there unless you know what is good already

Great view of the river and story bridge. This is a much better place to see the New Year's Eve fireworks than the crowded southbank park.

Eagle Street Pier has a great variety or restaurants, though only one cafe. Sitting overlooking the river, especially on a Sunday or weekday evening is a great way to unwind. With the food and drink options here, Eagle Street Pier is one on the best places to hang out with friends and loved ones in Brisbane. Worth a visit

A beautiful area Eagle Street Pier & a relaxing stroll around with many cafes & restaurants & scenic views along the river & only a 15 min walk from Post office Square in Queen Street. Returned by ferry to North quay. Highly recommend a walk around for all ages & plenty of orange scooters to hire.

This is the central river hub where all the ferries come and where the riverboats live. It is a great location of restaurants and cafes overlooking the water. I saw the Riverboat office and did the Christmas lunch tour from here..

Boarded a grand old lady of the Brisbane River, the Kookaburra paddle wheeler. We were treated to a fabulous three course meal while we watch the lights of Brisbane go by. Great night enjoyed by all of us.

Always a great walk along the pier, you can stop for a beer, wine or anything you really feel like! Friday afternoons are always popping and a great atmosphere! If you love a fun night out walk along the pier and you'll fine somewhere to go! If you hate a night out, walk along the poer and make fun of all the people! Either way its a great time and you won't regret!

Great location by the Brisbane River. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Ferries and other craft passing all the time.

People here were so very polite and helpful as I had not been here for such a long time. I was so excited I forgot to take photos inside the Coffee Club although I did get this one on entry. The Girls here at the Coffee Club were So Very Professional, Polite and Helpful. Thankyou for the Welcome on Our arrival. Cheers โ˜•โ˜•๐Ÿฐ

Beautiful views. However the restaurants and bars, I subsequently found out, have a terrible reputation with respect to service. Our experience did nothing to change that reputation.

Excellent place to spend a relaxing dinning experience from restaurants offering different cuisines, or just talk a leisurely walk along the riverfront.

I'm so in love with this place. The view is outstanding. Its quite busy with alot of people biking and running along the water way. I have been here on multiple occasions to dine, drink or even just catch the city cat across the water. I plan to get an apartment here one day soon.

Lovely places to go for dinner. Great views and a lovely night walk after you have eaten.

Loved it, good prices average, location is great staff are really good, if anything get it 30min prior to peak times to get a good spot. Window seating is really for 6+ so good for after work drinks or a girls night. My partner and I were lucky with the window good cheese platter and JD/SCOTCH on the rocks as warmer uppers. Wine list was minimal more a cocktail bar.

Cosy Brisbane River views. Excellent restaurants. Fantastic bridge views as well. Check out the German restaurant, The Bavarian!

  • 5/5 Py N. 2 years ago on Google
What a delightful dinner experience. The oysters were exquisite, the scallops were succulent and the vegetables were delicious. The only thing I'd do differently is get a time delay between the steak - which was cooked exactly how I asked and full of flavour- and the lobster so I could fully enjoy the freshness if both meats. The service was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.

Beautiful site with restaurants along the Brisbane river. Some really nice food. The Fatcow was awesome too eat at recently. It was worth the twenty minute wait. Great view of the river from here and it makes for a pleasant stroll back to the Mall after. Definitely drop through for a look.

We went to the Bavarian restaurant. Terrible food, couldn't eat it. We also used the table order system, don't do it, they charged me 3 different charges on top of my meal prices and one was a TIP. How dare you make that decision for me. There is a Bavarian restaurant on the Gold Coast, they should go there and learn how to prepare and cook German style food.

  • 5/5 Carmelina K. 6 years ago on Google
Beautiful scenery and good photo taking opportunities. Food is a little on the expensive side but worth the experience. Some restaurants you can eat for $12-15/pp, however some are $30+/pp. Would be amazing to watch the sunset here! Also has a nice boardwalk if you are into walking by the water.

Beautiful area! Within walking distance to the CBD and botanical gardens. Beautiful outlook over the river, with boats moored in front and Kangaroo Points cliffs towering up on the other side. The high rise architectural design here is phenominal. There are walking and bike tracks all along the river. The cafes here cater to the high class consumer with a diverse range of cultural gastronomy on offer (i.e.; latin, asian, western cuisine etc and coffee). Unfortunately the area lacks options for those on a lower budget. Otherwise it is a very pituresque area, well worth investigating!

Itโ€™s been bulldozed down and isnโ€™t there any more. Whatโ€™s the stay rating for somewhere we used to love but isnโ€™t there any more. We miss the Bavarian. Was such a great riverside venue.

Nice spot for an early morning cooked breakfast. Amazing views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. Lots of choices of where to eat. Meet up with friends for a memorable day. Enjoy a walk or bicycle ride after, along the esplanade. One of Brisbane's little secrets worth hunting out.

  • 4/5 Chris C. 3 years ago on Google
This is a great spot in the heart of Brissy CBD. It's a spot that is very easy to get to from any part of the city, with parking spots nearby, public transport and even electric scooters as an option, this is a must see. There are also restaurants and cafes around which means after you have checked out the are you can pull up next to the river for a bite. There are also plenty of activities and views form this area, including river boat cruises, kayaking, bike riding, roller blading and views of the story bridge. Definitely worth a check out for anyone looking to join in some local activities and take in those stunning views.

Great location, abundance of food venues to choose from, all very busy, so best to book. We took the booked as it was our first ever visit there, lucky we did. We found a Bavarian restaurant and everything was ordered via the app.

Crab legs would have been nicer fully thawed. One staff member needs more training in the language and needs to smile, otherwise food good.

George's paragon fabulous as always. Friendly staff and lovely food and any cocktail you desire.

  • 5/5 blackytobaccy 3 years ago on Google
Eagle street has a wide variety of restaurants and bars to cater most needs. I would rate most of these venues of "high class", with great food and drink selections, but also on the more costly side. Eagle Street Pier is very well kept and cleanly.

Had lunch at The Bavarian on a Friday. All restaurants we're very busy. The Bavarian was no exception. We scanned in, confirmed our booking and were shown to our table. You have to scan at your earliest able again to order good and drinks. If your scan doesn't work they will accept your order manually and you can pay with card or cash. Beers were good, cocktails were good, food was good, staff were good. Great location and never disappoints. Best to book.

Very noisy. Do not like the app based and pre-paid ordering system. And they have the nerve to ask for a tip before they provide any service.

Nice busy place , disappointed as lift doesn't work to go upper level as we had a pram.
