    Steer clear of these extortionists. We asked them to provide a copy of a contact lens prescription after they conducted an eye exam, something they are required to provide by law, and they tried to squeeze even more money out of us for it.

    Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Waited half an hour for my appointment at 3:30pm (that I’d booked first thing in the morning) before I was told by the manager the optometrist was leaving to go home for the day and I’d need to book in another time. Interesting way to treat your clients ??

    Service and communication was the most atrocious I’ve ever experienced in any industry. I went for an eye test on 31/7/22 and was told 7-10 days till my glasses would be ready. On 16/8/2022, I called to check as I hadn’t heard anything. Was told they were there. I made an appointment for 17/8/2022 to collect. On the 17/8/2022, I also received a call to make an appointment to collect. Confused, I rang back. My notes hadn’t been updated. I left work early and went in to collect my new glasses. The lab had stuffed up my lenses and they needed to be sent back. Ok, mistakes happen. Told it’d take 3-7 days this time as they’d put a rush on them. Phoned them on Friday 26/8/2022 and they weren’t ready. I was promised all back on Sunday 28/8/2022. No one called. So I followed up again on Monday 29/8/2022, I was told they’d been too busy to call me the day earlier but that they’d NOW put a rush on it (not sure why they didn’t do that on 17/8/2022 as promised but anyway….) Finally, on Friday 2/9/200, I received a call that the glasses were actually on site. Collected on the 4/9/2002. Honestly, it took over a month! In the meantime, I popped into a store in Carindale and I had a spare pair in 1hr… literally, chose new frames and had the lenses cut and fitted to the frames and done and dusted within an hour! I will never never never return to OPSM! If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

    Quality worst than others. Easily 2-4x the price. And for this extra money they will did stand behind their products. Huge disappointment in both product and customer service. Now I know why it was easy to get an eye appointment here after the optometrist was so good - because the rest of the store has no other redemptive qualities.

    I've noticed some negative reviews from people that are upset that glasses have to be cleaned by staff?? I for one wish I could give more than 5 stars for the exemplary service this store provides. Yes they make us aware of the fact glasses on the wall are clean and they clean between each person but I think thats a good thing given how many people may handle them otherwise. Great team in my opinion, beautiful store and nice brands. keep up the good work!

    I've purchased glasses from this store once before and had numerous pairs adjusted over the years. Customer service is pretty good. They tend to adjust glasses to fit well. The only caveat is during the first few adjustments, the frame was heated too much and the pliers left a dent on the left arm, which made a wonky spot on that arm which was beyond repair. Nothing too serious, it still fits relatively well despite the damage, however doing that to a brand new pair isn't very good for consumer confidence.

    Very unfriendly staff. the asian optometrist mumbled loudly to the staff instead of talking to me when asked a question. It would be nice to show some courtesy, when we paid $600 for a pair of glasses.

    First of all, service is quite ok from Feifei and Sylvia. However, the communication was poor, didn't even tell me changes of my prescription, didn't tell me with the lenses I ordered I couldn't see to the side and I can only see straight. Second, pick-up experience from Becky was below average considering the glass cost me almost $800, I normally receive better service at Starbucks. Apparently she had no willingness on 15/6/22 to provide any sort of service to one of OPSM's customers. 27/6/2022, a manger called, try to charge me another $50 since the new lenses are more expensive than the wrong lenses. It makes to me, but not after 2 mistake you made, which she is not willing to admit. Processed refund, the manger told me I would receive the funds within 24h and the reference number I will need to use to get my health fund rebate reversed.

    Go to another OPSM nearby. Avoid this one. Twice this store has provided terrible and obnoxious service. If you work in client fronting retail dont have an attitude, and dont think that a store selling products is a museum. The product is there to be "tried on" even in COVID with no community transfer is 6 months. Is it too hard to wipe down the frames?

    Took my prescription sunglasses there to replace by my original lenses, they ended up damaging the screws and the cross can’t be unscrewed anymore. No greetings when I walked in, the girl took my sunnies to the back to fix it. Then they were attending to the other customer and had me waiting for 15 minutes without keeping me informed. I had to ask them how long do I expect to wait. Then she took the half-fixed sunnies out and told me the screw on one side was damaged…. Also made up that they have been taking turns trying to unscrew it but without success, that’s why it took so long - which was a lie. They have only been fixing my sunnies for the first 5 minutes then they were with other customers. After this I took my sunnies to the other store, the store person told me they were damaged because the staff at OPSM were unscrewing them incorrectly. And I am paying for their mistakes. Absolutely no customer service, I wish I had tried another store.

    I've been an OPSM customer for years. The Albert Street store just told me I would have to pay them $49 to get an updated prescription for my contact lenses. I called the Wintergarden store down the road and they said they will do it for free. Don't get ripped off by these losers!!!!

    It is so so bad experience I ever had in the shop and also there is no collection of the classes and lenses too(if there are glasses after that no lenses) and they told me that it is famous in all over Australia. It is very rude behaviour I ever face of that manager .Please guys/customers I requested you all if you have a prescription classes don't go there because they can't provide the proper one and I request to all OPSM's please the customers are not fool please if you don't have proper lenses then how you called that you are the number one I don't think sooo and the customers are not fool OK. And the main thing is that the shop is in the middle of the Brisbane CBD HAHAHA it is soo so funny. PLEASE DON’T GO GUYS…………….🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Terrible service. My specs and lens were dispensed here last year. They said that they could do lens only and insert the new lens in shop to make it easier. Waited close to two weeks. Went to the city and lens had been made two big!!! Frames then had to be sent as well. Was told they would be done quickly as I had been inconvenienced. I’ve just phone another week after they were sent away and have been advised that they are there! No sincere apology. No text message or phone call advising me. I am going to switch to a small discrete optometrist.

    I purchased RayBan Clubmaster sunglasses with an external prescription and they arrived within 6 days, with the RayBan logo and inscription on the lens! Really pleased with the delivery time and quality. Can see really clearly now!

    I don't usually write any Google review but I have to write one this time! I have got some issues with the sunglasses that I purchased online, been to multiple places but no one was able to help. Luckily I went to OPSM and one of the staff there - Silvia was so nice and patient to help me fixing the issues with multiple attempts! I really appreciate it!!!!

    I have been regular costumer of this branch for more than 6 yrs so far and every time I buy contact lenses. Last two visit been so unacceptable costumer service. They don't accept the OPSM gift card which I have already pay 100s of $ for it. And the lady standing there claimed that she has never seen them before. Then she got into argument with very rude response that I have to pay with my debit card and I guess they just lost a costumer to another branch. Good work guys keep it ip

    Very friendly and warm staff! Laura helped me tighten the frame of my glasses for free and it was quick too! I highly recommend this store to others and will definitely come here again the next time I need a new pair of glasses!

    With big expectations i thought to buy multiple pairs of glasses when call them i had terrific experience on phone, than i walk into store next day and found very impolite lady who was not at all responsible toward her work mentioning if u want to buy u only have these few . With very few options they showing wrong attitude towards work , they marketed to be best in brisbane but no I don't thinks so had worst experience with custservice and product vearity, If any chances that I could have the chance to give the minus review to the store.

    Best customer service you could ever ask for. The glasses I picked up a few days ago weren't quite right. Tina managed to book me in for script fix and get new lens ordered right away. She showed her genuine care and valued my time. Couldn't be happier.

    Went into the store at lunchtime today to get my sunnies repaired. I was greeted by Becky. She replaced the screw/nut for free in a couple of mins. I bought a bottle of lens cleaner as a gesture of goodwill. Other staff seemed friendly as well serving other customers. Will def come back here in future.

    Very grateful to the lovely staff at OPSM in Albert Street, who replaced a lost screw from my sunnies, tightened everything up and even gave the lenses a good clean, and wouldn't accept a cent.

    So I just popped in yesterday, and the difference to other stores (*coughBupaUpTheRoad), was their sales consultant Kayla. She was clear, efficient and really knowledgeable. I have read other reviews here, and I am hopeful the rest of the experience is good too, but a good start thanks to Kayla.

    A big thanks to the staff at Albert Street store in Brisbane CBD. Went for a regular eye test to see Angelique (optometrist). She thoroughly examined my both eyes with all latest equipments they use in store and check revealed that I had an issue with one of my eye and she suggested to get a specialists opinion. Next business day she referred me to one of the best doctor in field for the appointment.My problem is now being well managed and in timely fashion. Even while looking at some new pair of glasses in store, I was thoroughly attended too and was given excellent service by Namita who had outstanding knowledge of products. Very happy customer "Once again, Thank You OPSM Albert St for your care and professionalism".

    The lady with orange hair was really rude and impatient. Gives me an elitist vibe. It’s as if she’s doing you a favour for assisting you purchase stuff from their store. Witnessed her deal with 2 different customers—was there from the start until the end of the interactions. If you happen to get her, do yourself a favour and ask for a different staff member. Or maybe go to a different store. To this lady, don’t work in customer service if you can’t be nice. Find a job where you can work from home. My previous dealings with this branch have been wonderful though.

    Possibly some of the rudest staff I’ve ever met. Between being condescending, and inferring that I couldn’t possibly afford their glasses, I was actually impressed that they managed to be so unpleasant in such a short period of time. This achievement is only made more impressive by the fact that they actively ignored me for the majority of my visit.

    Outstanding service and expertise. I highly recommend this Branch to anyone in search of quality eyewear and outstanding customer service from OPSM. A truly remarkable experience! The staff (Maddy) exceeded our expectations with her exceptional service. She was incredibly knowledgeable about frames and glasses, providing us with all the information we needed to make an informed decision. What impressed me the most was her patience throughout the entire process, taking the time to understand our needs and preferences. Went above and beyond to add to my style and displayed true salesmanship. The other staff were also courteous in making sure we were taken care of at all times. They also display a wider range of frames compared to some of the other OPSMs I've visited.

    Amazing customer service. My Ray Ban sunglasses got stepped on and bent out of shape significantly. Took to OPSM Albert Street to fix and are almost as good as new. Sylvia was outstanding and can't thank her enough as couldn't afford to replace these.

    It is worst experience I ever had in the shop and also there is no collection of the glasses and lenses too and they said we are the best in the market. The manager and staff was very rude.Please don't fool the customers.. if you don't have proper lenses then how you would you say that you are the number one..i never recommend this place to anyone..worst collection and worst place..worst customer service..!!!

    Didn't have the stock of Asian-fit frames that I wanted at the time but they went around for any stock they might've had. They did recommend me to the Wintergarden store which was mighty nice of them. I can't speak much for the rest of their services but I'm okay with this review for now until proven otherwise.

    Don't go there!! Absolutely disgusting experience!!! I was told not to try on any more glasses! as I don't want to clean any more of the glasses!!! Exact words that came out of the lazy shop assistant's mouth. I was going to spend alot of money on my glasses, but you missed out because of the rudnes of your lazy and arrogant staff member. Its not a museum!!!
