    From the moment I walked into the Polo section, I was greeted warmly by this remarkable lady. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in helping me made me feel immediately comfortable. Despite the store being busy, she took the time to listen attentively to my needs and understand my preferences for a handbag.     02.08.2022 Lovely store. Reminded me of John Lewis in UK. Walked through womenswear and it was very clean and tidy. Coming from UK it was the wrong season's clothing but all was enticingly laid out and 20% discount clearly marked.

    I have had my second stylist experience with Melody in your women's wear department at Queen St Mall stall. What an easy and relaxing process. I find searching for clothes that fit me and suit me to be an intimidating process. Melody made the entire process effortless, she knew exactly what style would suit me and she was completely on the mark. It was a wonderful experience, my wardrobe is sorted and I have made an appointment for my partner to experience the same wonderful customer service in a fortnight's time. Thank you so much Melody, you are a treasure and I will be back.

    We had the most amazing customer service in the home wares department when purchasing a Breville espresso machine. We were served by George who went above and beyond what was expected and we are very grateful for impeccable service. Highly recommended and will continue to purchase items from this store.

    Me and my friends went here to the dior bit, we are quite young and didn’t get the service we expected. First time we came we asked one lady what scent is this? Referring to a lip oil. She said, “I don’t know I can’t read it.” Not wanting to help us at all and keep it mind when we came nobody came up to us when the store was really quiet, nobody else was there and they didn’t bother to help us. They didn’t even look busy. We left and went to the Dior store but they didn’t have it so we went back to the David jones Dior store. When we came we went over the the lip oil section but a worker was bending over and rearranging the oils and talking to her co-worker not about work related things. She said sorry but didn’t bother to move and kept doing it. Nobody was there and they didn’t take us seriously because we were young. Wouldn’t come here again.

    I can only extol the virtues of the David Jones staff who attended to my queries during a return. I only wish I took note of the name of the person who served me. The lady was knowledgeable and considerate. I needed to return a faulty item and, in my haste to leave home, grabbed the wrong receipt. This staff member didn’t even hesitate and took the initiative to visit customer service where more friendly staff were able to locate my purchase on the system to reprint the transaction receipt and then my return was processed. I am truly grateful for the excellent service I received.

    A SLIGHTLY SMALLER DJ's IN BRISBANE CBD DJs is well known across Australia for high quality clothing and homewares. This store is in Brisbane's CBD. It has a reasonable range but not quite up to the "flagship" standards of its Sydney brother! People with mobility issue will be fine as the store has escalators and even floors.

    I enjoyed my shopping experience here. The sales were amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. The department store was very clean and tidy. I highly recommend going here, you won't be disappointed. But get a hotel close by so you won't have far to take all your shopping.

    I was fitted for a suit there(I don't normally wear suits either) for a wedding. I got there straight from the airport and the staff, especially Domenic(my stylist) who went out of their way to make the whole experience as enjoyable as possible and made me look a million dollars, big thanks to them. I will definitely me shopping there again on my next trip to Brisbane.

    I have always preferred DJs over MYER. Has a much more polished feel and classy atmosphere. You can tell they care about how they present their brand. Christmas shop is always amazing here, especially considering the majority of their Christmas shop ornaments come from Poland, Germany or Czech Republic. Customer service can be hit and miss sometimes though. One visit will see personnel asking if you need a hand, the next they won't exist.

    I had a wonderful experience buying a new outfit at David Jones. All of the staff were helpful, but in particular I'd like to thank Christine Coleo for her assistance. She was an absolute superstar. Her level of service was far beyond my expectations. She scoured the store to find the items that I needed, and provided some excellent advice and guidance. If anyone is looking to purchase suits, a blazer, or anything else, I'd highly recommend her.

    When retail is struggling, one would think David Jones would have a Person manning the phone calls to the store. But instead they have a totally ineffective automated system that does not work. I have called twice to speak to Queens Street Plaza David Jones and I am told by the incredible automated system that this store no longer exists.......go figure that one out. Off to Myers Now.

    What an amazing shopping experience at David Jones in the city today! Gary, who works at the Creed counter, is fantastic. He helped me with my regular Creed and then showed me a Limited Edition, which i also had to get . He is always so helpful, friendly and professional, a true asset to the company. My wife also had an amazing experience looking to for an evening dress. You know how long that can take! She was helped by a friendly and professional lady , Kayla. Thanks to Gary and Kayla for making our shopping experience awesome 👌 👏 👍.

    I have been a loyal customer of Kiehl's for over 20 years. I visit the David Jones at Queen Street often, for it is the fastest and most convenient way to pick up my skin care essentials. In the past, I haven't had the most skilled person assigned to that area to answer deep questions about new products, etc. Which is fine, but all that came to an end last Monday, when I had the pleasure of meeting Jodie, who elevated the entire David Jones experience to a new level. I specifically came in to purchase some gifts for friends, but also to stock up for myself. Jodie was amazing and then some. She literally could offer detailed information about the entire range on offer, and most importantly, listened (!), and then could suggest alternatives and options that were available. Jodie and I were like two kids in a candy store! She embraced my enthusiasm and countered with her own. So professional, warm and engaged she was. She offered to wrap my gift separately, and did a beautiful job! She is an asset to David Jones, and I hope this gets to her in someway. Her uniqueness and charm has made me curious about including David Jones when I purchase a new suit in the next few weeks. If all of your sales team are like this, I may not half to look elsewhere. Thank you Jodie!

    I have always enjoyed going to David Jones in the past. But the last few visits have been quite disappointing. There are literally no staff to assist. Not sure if this is just Queen's plaza. But it is very disappointing.

    Great staff in the cosmetics area, polo Ralph Lauren is excellent she will def help you out. And kitchenwares staff weekdays what a sweet lady nothing to much, too hard, answers your questions knows her stock and what it does and doesn't do! Would shop there if weren't so expensive LOL just to deal with particular staff mentioned

    Travelled 4 hours to look at Dior lipstick. Love being ignored by staff who look right through a person. I am unsure if it is because of my age, my slightly exhausted appearance, due to travel or the fact I am in a wheelchair.

    My wife has written this review. Maria at the Simone Perele stand at David Jones Brisbane is a joy to do business with. She is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and went well beyond what would be considered normal Service to sort out my requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. As an experienced shopper it is rare that you get this level of service. Maria is a credit to both franchises.

    Came shopping for sunglasses here, and not once did anyone ask if my wife or I needed help. Meanwhile a gaggle of customer "service" assistants huddled around the watch/jewellery counter chatting amongst themselves. Returning later, I proceeded to view the watches as I was also looking to purchase one, and once again, not one asked if I needed assistance. Which worked out well as I went to Salera's and bought a watch there.

    I'm shocked. It was the first time I saw such disrespect from a La Prairie consultant. I was looking for a moisturizer. I wanted to try the cream on the window of this store, when a consultant came up and told me, literally: "do you know that this cream is expensive?" I replied that I knew what the problem was. She suggested going to the Chemist Warehouse and looking at the cream there... what kind of service and advice is this??? It's just disgusting, I don't have the words. I ask you to pay attention to this

    I had a black tie occasion to attend and paid to have my makeup done. Lauri did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions about what would suit me best. She knows the products inside out and like magic all the scars, fine lines and freckles just disappeared. I looked so glamorous, it made my night.

    I'm obsessed with walking through department stores. The smells, the music, the atmosphere. There's something so charming about them. And DJ's takes it to a whole other level with how luxe it is. We spent a good couple of hours walking through and looking at each level. Also bought myself some Mimco earrings - the lady who served me was so great, she offered fantastic personalised service. Can't wait to go back for more shopping!

    I like this David Jones and I prepare gifts for my friends here every year. This year, I don't know why, they just focus on the KPI and no one listen to what you saying. I just want to check all my gifts has been packed well and no one opened before because I saw someone opening some new items and put back. Then, the lady kept asking WHAT YOU WANT again and again without listening even told someone I wanna use the tester. WHAT?! Very disappointed with this experience.

    Love this shop as is a great place to buy nice thoughtful presents at. The merchandise held at the store is great quality and there is a large range of goods to choose from. The staff are also very focused and helpful. During their frequent sales you can pick up some real bargains. I'm sad they are not as at as many shopping centres now, suspect internet has made that difficult for them. This is my go to shop when I want to buy a present to spoil them.. .

    My daughter and I just wanted to say thank you to Sophia from Simone Pérèle, her level of customer service was exceptional and we were so grateful for her help. She was so friendly and thorough and continued to follow and assist us right up until we bought the item that she suggested, after a struggle to find it previously. Thank you again Sophia for your customer service and professionalism! Prior to her assistance, we struggled to find help from other staff who were chatting amongst themselves and not very willing to stop their conversations and assist customers.

    Very nice experience. The staff seem a little overwhelmed with the areas they have to cover on the weekends as their product knowledge on certain things was poor. Otherwise, a very nice afternoon was had trying colognes and purchasing two very nice Ted Baker pieces 👍

    We phoned ahead to see if they had the item we needed. When they confirmed, we said, "thanks, we'll come and get one". When we got there the person who took our call had set one aside for us 😁 I've never actually shopped at David Jones before and was very impressed with the service. Friendly, helpful, expert; great!

    I do like this DJ store. To me it has an alive feeling. Maybe it is the size of the store, or location, surrounded by high end stores. Which don't interest me but are good to have as a drawcard to the area. I don't buy much here but do spend a lot of looking. Seems to be a fun way to pass time.

    I love this store, it's hosts all top branded clothing and we'll I think we all know what more they have. I recommend joining their rewards program as you receive great discounts and vouchers to help with your purchase... Hands down, my favourite department store.

    I have always loved shopping in your store, but the experience today very unprofessional. I had arrived on Level 1 Womenwear, to your credit all other staff I encountered had a warm greeting and a smile. I had gathered numerous things to try on in the change rooms near Scanaln Theodore where there were 2 staff a grey haired woman in a Camilla dress and a tall woman with dark hair and an accent, too busy in conversation to assist. Their conversation carried into the change rooms. It was apparent they were talking about another staff in a less than professional manner Their conversation carried into the change rooms. It was not a great experience to be in. I left the clothes I was trying on and walked out. I don't think they could have cared anyway. The 1 star is for the other staff who were great. These two staff should know noise travels I wasn't the only customer trying on clothes who I'm sure felt awkward about the conversation I was hearing and had wished I wasn't. So unprofessional.
