From the moment I walk in until the moment I check out, the entire experience is Friendly professional and thorough. Dr. Wooten and her staff take time to explain procedures and I never feel that I’m being rushed. Dr. Wooten is caring and answers all my questions.

Super disappointed. I was on my way to my scheduled appointment today and I was stuck in a little bit of traffic so I called as a courtesy to let them know I would be a few minutes late. When I called, I was informed that my appointment had already been cancelled. I did not cancel my appointment, yet they claimed I did. I have no record of any cancellation for this appointment. I received a voicemail on Thursday evening reminding me of my appointment and somehow my appointment was mysteriously cancelled on Friday according to their records. I was also met with a lot of attitude from the lady I spoke with on the phone who told me I would have to reschedule, for a month out at the earliest. It’s just bad practice to do something like this to a patient when people’s schedules are already complicated anyway (I had to get childcare for this appointment), not to mention how difficult it is to get an appointment anywhere these days. The medical staff is great from my experience, but front office staff needs to be great, too, and that is just not the case here.

I have confidence in Dr. Smith-Phillips. I have never felt like I was getting any treatments I did not need. Also, the office operates very efficiently! Appointments are on time. Check-in, meeting with the Doctor and her staff, and check-out are always smooth. I have recommended MP Dermatology to many friends.

Very pleased with my care from Dr. Wooton and Danielle. She was very thorough in her examination and skilled in the procedure treatment. I plan to return for another successful checkup in the future. Certainly feel like I’m in confident hands. Highly recommend! ❤️

I had an early morning appointment and was taken right away. Doctor Phillips did a complete annual check and all was good. Was on my way home within 1/2 hour. Efficient and very capable staff and Doctor.

Dr Wooten is not my regular Dr. Ended up with her because my Dr was booked too far out for my schedule. This is the worst experience that I’ve ever had in this practice. Dr Wooten was very thorough, but she talked the “dermatology language “ to her nurse and seemed irritated when i asked what the terms meant. I have a science back ground and i wanted to know. Dr Wooten continued to talk to her nurse and ignore most of the things i said to her! Also, i needed a prescription refilled which i discussed with her nurse. Well, i remembered it and asked about it at the end, but the nurse said, “ she’s already in the next room and it’ll be awhile before i can get her”. I’m supposed to return in August and the nurse said that i could mention it to her then!😳😳😳 Really?!?! Wait a month and a half for my prescription!! I have never!!!! Experienced such a lazy nurse and rude doctor. I’ll never see her again. I asked for my follow up to be switched to my original Dr Smith-Phillips. I would not recommend this doctor if bedside manner matters to you. Same goes for her nurse!

Dr. Wooten is the best. Always has a solution for any problem. Personal and timely with appointments. The entire procesd from intake to exit is well thought out and efficient. MPD is an excellent practice.

Dr. Wooten is an excellent diagnostician who listens carefully to her patients and corrects most problems during the office visit. Her staff is accurate and efficient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Steele’s for over 15 years and have referred many other friends. I find her to be very competent, kind and good at her profession. However, after learning of my 6 month check up which is 5 days away, I called to reschedule. I informed the female that answered the phone that due to a work commitment I was unable to make the appointment and ask to reschedule.. She was extremely short with me and informed me the next available appointment was 6 months out, in April of 2023. I asked again if something could be scheduled sooner but she said no. It was evident she was not going to work with me in anyway. Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time within the past several years this had happened. Skin check ups are extremely important and putting it off for another 6 months is not an option. I believe that the customer service of the appointment staff has noticeably declined and I only write this for the purposes of others considering Dr. Steele to be their dermatologist. I did not request an immediate appointment but sometime in the next 2 months would have been reasonable. I’m not happy to have to end this patient relationship with Dr. Steele however perhaps the business has gotten too busy to accommodate basic 6 month skin check ups making it possibly a danger to one’s health to have wait 6 months if an appointment is missed. Thanks for all your prior services.

I have been going to Stephanie Smith Philips for years and she is amazing and has hands that do magic! She has had to remove and cut away many skin cancers on my face and other places and never a scar! Also …..they try to fit you in when you need to see the Dr. I am also thrilled that her daughter works there as well! She is following in her Mothers footsteps . The staff is very friendly . Everyone is so patient and kind!

Office was easy to locate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was actually taken back to see the doctor before my appointment time. The doctor and his medical assistant were friendly, competent and explained the procedure to me. They were very respectful and kind.

Dr. Smith Phillips is excellent. She truly cares about her patients. I've been her patient for many years for skin checks and other concerns. 4 years ago, my lips started cracking at the corners. It was painful and constantly bothered me. She did a small amount of fillers to make my lips stop drooping and cracking. She did not try to sell me on other products and only wanted me to feel better. I just went back because they were drooping again. I decided to get a couple of other areas done. She is light handed and she is genuinely happy to see me happy with the results. Her practice is about her patients, not the money.

Upon arriving a young lady chewing gum presented to check me in. All I could concern was her gum chewy. I then waited 35 minutes to be seen. I ask when I might be taken back as I had to see patients in my offitthat morning. She acted like she had completely forgot she had just checked me in. Upon going back I was met by a delightful nurse who completely took care of everything for me. Dr Smith Phillips was wonderful as always. Samantha took care of my 6 months appointment and remembered as she always does and an awkward start ended up as a delightful appointment as always. Keep smiling Samantha Thanks Dr Neil Draisin

I've never had an appointment go so well but with the added benefit of being so timely! I was in the exam room within two minutes (no exaggeration), had gone through my particulars immediately with the PA and seen by my Doctor within five minutes of that!! The exam/treatment/consultation was completed within ten to perhaps fifteen minutes. Check out was immediate by the same person who checked me in when she noticed me waiting behind another patient who was being checked out/scheduled. I joked that they must have consulted the Chic FIL A business model since it ran so smoothly. When is the last time you were blown away by your doctors visit?!!

Dr. Wooten worked me in when I was experiencing some issues. Her staff promptly returned my calls and even adjusted an appointment for the same morning when I was running late due to traffic. Thoroughly pleased with Dr. Wooten and her staff.

Dr. Steele is the ultimate professional with a great bedside manner. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. Her assistant Mia was wonderful as well. She made me feel at ease and listened to all my concerns and conveyed them to Dr. Steele. They are a great team.

Tried to make an appointment for check up. First available was close to 9 months out. Unacceptable. Changed doctors, called and had availability for this week. Whole family will be changing. Mt Pleasant Dermatology is a very professional practice. The office staff is friendly and the office itself is very neat and clean. Dr Steele is very caring and very thorough and efficient, and puts the patient at ease. Excellent care! I gave only 4 stars this time because I think it would be nice if a member of her staff might call patients after any surgical procedure, just to check on the patient and see how he/she is doing post-pricedure, and to check to see if any questions have come up.

Doctor Wooten and her staff are always nice and prompt. This appointment the was something on my back that needed to be removed. Dr. Wooten removed the item very quickly, and I was out of the office without delay. Everyone was professional and friendly.
