Hallelujah what a find. Amidst all the brasseries and burgers is a real gem. Freshly made food with deep deep flavour. I had jerk chicken, jollof rice and plantain and boy was the jerk sauce something else. I entered into another dimension. I could not recommend high enough. Great central location close to the river and the castle. The owners and the staff are friendly as can be.

Went here last night and enjoyed it all. The waitress was lovely the atmosphere was great and the food HAS to be the best in Windsor, the jerk chicken was so good. The portion sizes were brilliant. You can tell it’s not a big food chain restaurant (rare in Windsor) and the food isn’t just thrown In The microwave. Thanks guys. I’ll be back soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Being a frequent customer since the restaurants opening, I can say with confidence that I’ve never had anything less than an excellent experience at Harvest. The staff are all great, with the owners making a point of remembering faces and doing their best to make sure you are enjoying your food. In terms of the food itself, I can’t praise it enough, both me and the people I have introduced the restaurant to agree it is the closest thing you can get to a proper home cooked meal outside of our mums cooking (which is really and truly the the highest seal of approval we can give to any food). The curry goat, jerk chicken and plantain fries are favourites of ours, but the menu is diverse enough that their is something for everyone. I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know who passes through Windsor, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

We were headed to The Windsor Theater and looking for a place for dinner. We are so happy we found this place just opening up at 6pm. We were the first diners, but the takeout had started and we can see why. The food was wonderful, fresh, and exceeded our expectations. We saw the other positive reviews and they were right. If you have the opportunity to be in Windsor and want some Caribbean food made with care, you have to eat here. I haven’t had such good Jerk Chicken in decades. The Harvest Beef was tender and could be cut with a fork. We both had the Harvest Fried Rice, which I poured the extra Jerk sauce onto. Yum!

Just had a wonderful meal at Harvest Afro Caribbean. My good friend recommended it. I had read the earlier reviews and had high expectations. Well they didn't disappoint! This place is a gem in Windsor. Great authentic West Indian food, excellent flavours and seasoning. Most importantly the service and friendly staff was superb. Can't wait to try more from the menu. Please support this amazing 👏 restaurant.

The woman who served us was so lovely, she explained the menu to us and gave us enough time to order our food. The food was so delicious, i had high expectations and it lived up to it. I got full off my main and couldn't finish my dessert but i didn't know i could take it home so i should've asked since it was soo good. You also get chin-chin and a jug of water as complimentary. Otherwise, the service was amazing and I will be suggesting to my friends and family. There also is a £2 service fee.

Review Title: A Caribbean Delight in the Heart of Windsor Review Text: Tucked away in the lovely city of Windsor lies this paradise-like Caribbean restaurant, offering an authentic island culinary experience without leaving town. The menu starts with an enticing symphony of tropical flavors that take your palate on a vacation. We tried their acclaimed Jerk Chicken & Rice and the Jerk Chicken Wrap, both of which were nothing short of extraordinary. The Jerk Chicken & Rice was truly a flavor nirvana, with juicy, marinated chicken perfectly combined with hearty, aromatic rice. The interplay of spices, punctuated by their tailored sauces, provided an unparalleled flavor journey. The Jerk Chicken Wrap, on the other hand, was another revelation - deliciously spiced, grilled chicken nestled in a soft, fresh wrap. Every mouthful was an explosion of well-balanced tastes that made it a genuine culinary delight. One cannot write about this wonderful place without mentioning Felix, the manager. His outstanding courtesy and dedication to top-notch customer service created a truly warm and welcoming dining environment. Felix doesn't just manage this delightful eatery but ensures every guest feels valuable and contented. In conclusion, if you desire a Caribbean culinary voyage right here in Windsor, this is your must-visit spot. Come eager and leave with a satisfied palate and a wide smile. The delightful menu is more than a meal, it's a sensory journey you won't regret or forget. Highly recommended! Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Halal certified restaurant. Was greeted by the owner and my god the food was amazing, customer service was great too stumbled upon this restaurant visiting from London, and i will be coming back, even if it costs an arm and leg😩😩 The food is great, flavoursome, tender and cooked to perfection. The menu is large, so theres a lot of variety. During our visit we got the Oxtail dish, and Jerk Chicken breast. Very TENDER meat, and chicken breast was cooked to perfection - it wasnt dry and retained its juices.

Had jerk chicken goat curry and stew chicken with dumplings. The food was overall good except the jerk chicken was very sweet, it was like having meat for desert. Maybe for some people this is OK but i don't like meat with sweet saucea. The dumpling were done like knotted circles and very hard, could not eat them. But the goat and stew chicken were good. The place is spacious and bright and the portions big.

If you’re Caribbean, don’t expect the food to be authentic. Where to begin! Firstly, we were offered complementary chin chin. The bottom of the plate was dirty (there was like a greasy substance of sorts). It was already a red flag, but we noticed a little too late. We ordered the following: 1. Jerk Chicken Wings 2. Brown Stew Fish 3. Brown Stew Chicken 1. The chicken wings were jerked, but they were TOUGH as if frozen. 2. The brown stew fish came topped with heaps of peppers, the fish came with all the bones (unheard of for brown stew fish), the rice was long grain (also unheard of for rice and peas), plantain were chewy and hard, the sauce/stew was watery, but the worst thing of all, the entire dish tasted like liquid smoke 🤢 3. The brown stew chicken also came topped with heaps of peppers, the chicken came with all the bones (unheard of for brown stew chicken - it was also TOUGH as if frozen), the rice was long grain (also unheard of for rice and peas), plantain were chewy and hard, the sauce/stew was watery, but the worst thing of all, the entire dish also tasted like liquid smoke 🤢 Absolutely disgusting. The waitress noticed we hadn’t touched our food and that we were disappointed. We expressed how we didn’t like the food. She proceeded to tell the chef. Upon paying for the meal, (which by the way, we paid close to £20 for each brown stew dish!?), the chef came out to ask us what was wrong with the food. We expressed that it wasn’t like any authentic Caribbean food we’ve ever tasted and we also shared about the food tasting mostly of smoke. The chef said that they cook the rice on wood. 😂 what?! On wood?! How do you even cook rice on wood.. but anyway…Then the chef proceeded in saying ‘well, this is how we do it here’… 😂 what?! So why ask for feedback if you’re just going to act like that and completely disregard our feedback. And yes, we paid the full price for the meal despite not eating much of it and being dissatisfied. But whatever, we move on. Save your money, trust me on this one.

Rachel was on her own but did a great job in putting up delicious dishes with a huge smile. Really great balance of spice with flavour. Lovely.

My favourite place to eat in town. The people that work there/own the place are amazing, knowledgeable and so much fun! The food is always incredible, and the portion sizes are great. It may seem on the more expensive side, but once everything is taken into account it’s completely worth it. Best cocktails in Windsor too!!

We went to Harvest for my birthday last week and really loved it. All the food was very tasty and fresh, with generous portions. The meat in every dish was tender and juicy, no matter if it was goat, chicken or beef (we had them all!) and the sauces all were so good. At the end, they insisted on giving me a piece of cake and singing happy birthday, which was very sweet. Unfortunately no photos as we were all too keen to eat the delicious food! A real gem, just past the Windsor Theatre. We will be back!

I would have loved to give this place a higher rating, as the staff were extremely nice and the food presentation was very good. However, the food was far below what I expected, as a person from Caribbean background. I had the curried goat and rice & peas. Unfortunately, there was nothing authentic about the meal. The rice was hard and tasteless and the meat was a bit chewy and very sweet. To top it off I ended up with food poisoning and regretted dining here. Side point, as Caribbeans we don't add sugar to our savoury dishes especially our meat dishes. There were a group of people seated next to us who made the same comment, re the meat being sweet. One lady in the group also had the same dish as mine. (I hope she's okay) The Guinness punch and mac & cheese was good, but comes at a risk. Stay away from the festival, very doughy and greasy. I'm sorry to say, but I spent the rest of my evening, running back and forth to the toilet, with temperatures and shivers etc!! Not a good experience, overall. Sorry. Almost £80 later!!

I came here with my partner. The food here was amazing! Well-flavoured with good spice level. We had the Harvest Jerk Chicken and Harvest Beef, plus chin chin and a patty. We will definitely be coming back!

We had just been to see a show in Windsor and were a little peckish. Having seen Harvest Afro Caribbean on the recent Tom Kerridge show we thought we would give it a try. Certainly weren’t disappointed. Great food and service. We will certainly be back, I really need to try the Oxtail next time.

Harvest is my favourite restaurant. This restaurant brings back memories of my time eating in Nigeria. My husband loves the Caribbean meals on the menu. I am able to eat traditional Nigerian food with my hand. I had the ogbono with pounded yam. It was heaven. My husband had the chicken stew with rice and peas. The food is tasty freshly cooked and the portions are a good size. The e best part of this restaurant are the amazing staff and the husband and wife team that own Harvest. The friendliness and the personal service makes this unique restaurant my first choice when choosing to eat out.

Went for lunch today with my daughter, first ever visit. The service and food was amazing. I had curried goat rice and peas with plantain slaw and Mac and cheese it was probably the best I’ve had outside of London. In fact I even purchased a take away of stewed oxtail for my dinner tomorrow. Will be coming back soon.
