We
went
to
this
board
game
cafe
for
the
first
time
today
with
two
friends.
It
was
okay,
but
definitely
not
great.
Here
are
some
facts
to
consider
before
booking:
1.
The
game
selection
is
great.
I'm
a
pretty
experienced
board
gamer,
and
I
was
impressed
at
the
game
availability.
2.
The
food
is
terrible.
Cheap.
But
terrible.
Just
eat
before
you
go.
The
drink
selection
is
fine,
but
you're
going
to
have
to
decide
between
space
and
your
drink.
3.
There's
not
enough
staff.
So
get
used
to
waiting
a
long
time
to
get
help/service.
Pretty
ridiculous
given
you
have
a
time-limited
session.
And
the
staff
seemed
pretty
unhappy
with
their
lives.
4.
Space
is
limited.
We
played
a
complex
game,
and
there
simply
was
not
enough
space.
I
gobbled
down
my
sandwich
because
there
wasn't
any
place
to
put
it.
Pieces
were
falling
on
the
floor.
It
took
us
a
while
to
realise
there
were
pieces
missing
from
the
game.
I
understand
that
you
want
to
fill
all
the
tables,
but
it
defeats
the
point
if
you
came
to
play
a
game
and
you
can't
really
play
it.
5.
Uncomfortable
seating.
Your
session
is
limited
to
3
hours,
but
don't
worry,
you're
going
to
want
to
leave
before
then
to
feel
your
bum
again.
6.
We
went
on
a
Sunday,
so
it
was
busy...
and
unbelievably
loud.
Trying
to
explain
rules
was
really
challenging.
We
were
constantly
getting
rammed
in
the
back
by
neighbouring
tables
trying
to
get
around.
And
because
it
was
so
rammed,
it
was
boiling.
We
were
sweating.
It
was
just
quite
an
unpleasant
experience.
In
the
end,
we
just
quit
our
game
so
we
could
leave.
It
took
another
20-30
minutes
to
just
leave.
Potentially
it
would
be
fun
if
you
want
to
play
more
simple,
familiar
games.
And
at
7
quid
a
person,
you
could
easily
buy
these
games...
and
the
food
would
be
better.
