Played today in very windy conditions, welcoming club, played in a golf society group, generally enjoyed the course apart from the risking life and limb crossing the A217! Also the greens had been hollow tyned and were not great to putt on, as far as I am aware we were not pre warned of this but still payed the full golf society rate. I would certainly return again in the future when conditions are more favourable.

A great function venue. I attended an evening function with my partner here recently and was very impressed. We both enjoyed the three course set menu, though I was a little dubious about the texture of the pate (more like a turine!) The chocolate tart was the highlight of my meal as I have a real sweet tooth. The bar options were another pleasant surprise with a good selection of reasonably priced wines and spirits. As the majority of attendees were male, the venue had also accommodated with beers for the tables included in the ticket price which was well received. I would definitely visit again.

What a course! It's definitely my favourite in the local area. Every hole feels different and lots of sand to keep you challenged. The pro shop, members and other staff are all super friendly. Will be back here many times in the future.

A fun and challenging course with some well places trees and bunkers. With 4 tee box to choose, well suited for all levels of golfers.

Actually went to the cafe and park, which is a great place, the cafe is amazing and does a doggy menu as well as accessories. This is a regular place for us and our Rosie loves the wooded area

I played here with my wife last summer and to be honest I was a little bit disappointed. The course layout is fairly bland and the condition was not so great. I know the weather has been super hot but the fairways were really scorched and in places bare. Greens were in better condition and everyone we meet at the club was very friendly which I always thinks makes the experience of playing a new course more enjoyable. I know the standard in Surrey is high but I was hoping for something a bit better.

Great club and the course is challenging. Good putting surfaces where you can trust the line too. You must find fairways though if you stand a chance of beating your handicap. Very friendly staff.

Great little course with many challenging holes. Only drama is having to cross the busy road twice. It could do with an underpass as it could be a danger black spot trying to get across. Very busy road!. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff . Definitely be back to play again.

Course in good condition and, as visitors, we received a warm welcome. An attractive but unchallenging course, where many holes are a little too similar. However, at £25 for a midweek round, it's hard to complain.

Course played really well, and was well maintained despite the recent hot weather. It's a pain to cross the main road to get to part of the course but I really enjoyed the golf here. The bar is good as is the food and the staff are helpful and friendly.

There’s a great feeling about this place. Lovely course- not rushed, not stuffy, and well looked after

Perfectly fine facilities. Nothing too fancy. We were only in one of the function rooms but don't expect a great deal of selection when it comes to beverages. The grounds are very pretty. I didn't play golf so I can't comment on the course.

Excellent Golf Course , drains really well after rain ,being on chalk. Tough Course as well , but enjoyable.

Played here at the end of Jan 2020 one Friday afternoon after there’d been a load of rain in the previous weeks and the course was a real surprise. Greens rolling true and amazingly fast for January. No plugged balls in fairway due to the course being on chalk. Some long holes, and a tough test - looking forward to playing here again in the summer.

Was a course that was easy and convenient to get to while working in Sutton. Great course and well worth a visit. Can be a bit pricey at times particularly early afternoons.

Has to be Surrey’s finest downland golf course. Great track all year round. Friendly and welcoming staff

Great condition and very friendly staff. Greens were quick and fairways were good. The only thing that lets the course down is having to cross a busy dual carriageway twice due to the course being across two sides of the road. Course has Avery good practise putting and dedicated chipping area, and nets in lieu of a range. Would play again.

Lovely course even early spring, quite forgiving fairways but lightning greens. Well worth a visit
