I am a newbie to a reef tank experience, therefore, discovering this place was literally a life saver (I had bad experience at another LFS where I was given wrong advice and sold expensive fish that unnecessarily died as a result, which made me rather upset..) Aquatic Emporium is a very friendly family run business, who offer free expert advice, guidance and will patiently listen to a newbie “babble”… In fact, they care so much, that they will not sell you anything just for the sake of the sale, they will explain kindly why certain purchases are not suitable for “younger” tanks and recommend a slightly more robust living creatures to help tank eco system to mature and blossom. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!!!! I am so glad I have you on my “doorstep”.

Absolutely beautiful corals fish and pristine tanks. What I really loved about this shop was the customer service, you can tell from the minute you walk in that it is a family run business and it is open for the passion of the hobby. I can't speak highly enough of this marine shop and it's extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I'll definitely be back!!

Amazing LFS, super friendly owners, good prices, I highly recommend

As somebody mentioned, this place is a hidden gem! Unreal amount of frags, ranging from entry corals to mouth watering pieces. Super friendly, committed, passionate and knowledgeable owner. Corals and fish super healthy and cleanest tanks I've seen, all things considered.

Bit torn on this review, Great selection of coral, friendly staff and fair prices. Issue is I bought 2 small zoa frags and while one has been doing fine, while the other has seen better days. About a month in my tank one polyp had died and what looks like zoa eating spiders crawled out. Now that frag is opened up and I'm assuming it was the only infected polyp those were my first two coral and I had cycled dry. I'd still make a trip back, but it was a little disappointing.

Only just discovered this place - awesome selection of corals at all price ranges - and so much choice - very well stocked with equipment and some marine fish and clean up crew - recommended ++ and very friendly

This place blew me away the coral and fish are second to none simply amazing The only downside is that this is a saltwater only shop Even if you don't have marines it's worth popping in as it's amazing.

Wow. This place sounds great. Definitely on my way. Everyone has great reviews about this place. Great location to get to just go down to junction 1 on M3. Or ask sat nav.

Visited this shop today on a whim as I was in the area. I've visited a fair number of LFS but I was blown away by AE! I've never seen such an amazing selection of dry goods, absolutely packed coral trays, and rare and healthy fish. I loved that there were colonies of the fragged pieces so that you could see what they would grow into and I loved that there was a variety of products in use at the store so you could see them in action. The owner was also very friendly and we had a good chat about reefing. And, perhaps best of all, I though the pricing was great on both livestock and dry goods. I wish this was my LFS but I'm going to do the hour drive anyway to visit this store again!

Nice shop but only exotic fishes and exotic products. As I see many interesting things for good prices there is a lot to choose from.

I have just bought two beautiful sea horses from this shop for my daughter and cannot thank them enough for the amount of guidance and advice they have given me along the way. They have genuinely been determined not to sell me the wrong thing and gone above and beyond in terms of their service. I wish them great success!

Great shop - can’t recommend it enough. One of the widest choices of corals around, friendly owners who take their time to help you, clean corals with no pests, great prices. Worth driving 40 miles to make it my “local fish supplier”

I have bought fuscus seahorses, peacock wrasses and more from this shop. great service and very helpful. good range of fish and coral at a great price. Now have been buying coral from them for a while and they offer great help and have amazing customer service. They have only sold things to me that have a high chance of living and offer the best competitive prices

Fairly new to marine fish and reef keeping, but already tried out lots of coral shops. Aquatic emporium is without doubt my favourite shop. The selection is amazing and each time I go they have something diferent. Got a fantasic elegance and goniopora today. Also, excellent customer service, particularly the lady, who is extremely knowledgeable and has given me some great tips, from the day I started going. Would highly recommend! Thankyou
