Our first impression of the restaurant was of an authentic Italian pizzeria. Based on other reviews we had high expectations for this place. However, food and service were not what we expected. It doesn't mean that the pizzas weren't good, but they weren't worth rave reviews, either. Furthermore, the staff didn't seem to really care about our experience. We felt it was more like 'eat and leave' rather than a place that cared about customer satisfaction. Not sure if we would visit again.

Taste of food is excellent. Portions a bit small compared to value for price but fulfilling. I don't like being served on a wooden board as I don't find it very hygienic. The desert, I took cannoli which were excellent however how this is served is very cafeteria style. Rose wines no choice, and the decor needs a bit more improvement and a bit more light and please put some low Italian music. Overall they will see me again as the taste of food was very good.

What can I say about this place unless it was one of the best pizzas of my life! I never had Romana-style pizza only Napoli-style pizza, NYC and Chicago-style pizza. It was amazing the flavor, the crust! We got a "carbonara" pizza that was the incredible, perfect balance of the taste on it. The tartufata pizza was really good too. I will come back to try more of their recipes. Thanks to the Sotto team! They all were nice and answers all my questions.

Definitely the go-to place for the Best Pizza in Malta. The Carbonara and Pantheon Pizza, along with the Cannoli are a must try! The prices are slightly higher compared to other local Italian Restaurants, but the prices are well justified. A great experience overall!

Saw that Italian Pinseria on Trip Advisor and what cought my attention was 5 stars & more than 2000 reviews. It was a no brainer to visit this place. We were very fortunate to find a table.
