Made reservation months in advance. Arrived and notified immediately our reservation was changed, and the air conditioner in the room doesn't work. Knocked $20 off the bill, whoopee. Should be free after the antics that followed. We drove quite a ways to get there so obviously had no other option but to stay in the middle of nowhere. Not offered a fan. Stayed in the middle of summer, hot and humid, had windows open due to no AC, and screaming drunkards on the deck at 3:00 AM. I told the night person about it and he attended to the issue, but unfortunately drunkard didn't actually leave for a half hour. Got no sleep due to heat and noise. Said something the next morning, front desk lady was apologetic, seemed like she was used to hearing people complain and had an excuse for everything, said she would let the manager know of our troubles. No communication from any manager a week later. Pretty disappointed. This is an awesome location, view is great on the river, room seems to be newly remodeled (by someone that doesn't do the best quality work, door jam was too big for the door, but OK) but unfortunately the communication is poor and the rooms are half working. AC should be top priority in the summer, and there should be communication with the customer when a reservation is changed so the customer can make an informed decision. Also, doing construction in the middle of summer.... Why? Why not wait until fall or winter when no one is staying there? Whoever is running this place is maybe out of touch with the operation and is making poor decisions.

Cozy, clean, quiet authentic Inn on the River. Spectacular view from our third floor room! Large well appointed room. Super friendly staff. Nice that we could walk to the Winery, get a fabulous dinner next door and a scrumptious breakfast at the Pizza place. We will visit again!!

Had lunch here with friends. Great atmosphere with good food. Server and service was pleasant. Food was little pricey but the atmosphere with river view couldn't be better.

Wonderful restaurant next door foxburg grille. Sat by the windows by the Allegheny river. Also outside seating. Rooms were remodeled and clean. Winery there also and pizza shop and coffee shop. Check times because of limited help they have limited hours. Great time went biking on rails to trail. Trailhead is right off of parking lot

Clean rooms with a view over looking the Allegheny River. Across the parking lot is Foxburg winery, and next door is the amazing Allegheny Grill. We come here every year for my birthday. A perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel on the banks of the Allegheny River. The room was SPOTLESS and very comfortable with cable TV and a very good air conditioner. Very nice bathroom and beautiful view from the room. The hotel is across the street from a wine store and next to a nice restaurant with lots of food options at very reasonable prices. Front desk service was marvelous - very kind and attentive. Parking is free and plentiful. They have a great deck area right on the river where you can enjoy a glass of wine and relax under the stars. I will DEFINITELY return here on my next trip through Pennsylvania. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem and worth a drive for a beautiful, quiet stay. Rooms are spacious and have beautiful view of the Allegheny River. Winery across the parking lot and restaurant right next door with waterfront seating. Trail access from parking lot for walking, running or biking. Recent updates were well executed, it was a very unique stay.

My wife and I stayed there last night. When we arrived we realized that we forgot a brush for my wife. The closest place to get one was about 3 miles away in Emlenton. My wife is in a wheelchair so she isn't overly portable to get in and out of the car. We decided we would make due for the evening. We went to the winery first and then to dinner at the Allegheny Grill. Everything was awesome. We came back to the hotel and the gentleman at the front desk said he had a comb for her. We of course thanked him We asked what was the easiest path for us to take the wheelchair out to the deck overlooking the river. He said follow me. We took the elevator to the first floor ( we were on the second floor) and he opened up a vacant room that had a back door right onto the deck. He said use it as long as you like! Of course we thanked him for going out of his way for us again. We went out to the deck and within a few minutes were approached by a very nice woman. She asked if we were the ones that forgot the brush. We said yes. She said that she had purchased one for my wife. She introduced herself as the general manager of the hotel. She couldn't drive currently but she had someone drive her the three miles to the closest store and bought my wife a brush!! I mean who does that?? She went out of her way when she didn't have to for my wife!! This was our second time there in quite a few years. We will definitely be going back again soon. Such great and friendly people and nice accommodations. If you have never gone there, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it. Rick F. Boardman, Ohio

Just fabulous! Our room had a great view of the river. It is a quiet gem of a place. No traffic or noise. Good food and drink. You never have to move your car. The grounds are clean and beautiful. This will be a regular stop on our travels.

To start I called and left a voicemail stating that I wanted to book a room for the night. I left my name and phone number, I did not receive a call back. Two hours later my husband booked a room thru a booking platform. After we checked in and dropped our items off in the room we went to the hotel restaurant, walking past the front desk. As we were heading back to our room, going past the front desk, the two ladies then informed us that we had to park our car at the Post office. The post office parking lot was already full. They started that if we didn't that our car will be towed off site by 7 am. When we asked why the extremely rude lady said that the Apple Festival vendors would be setting up and that they were more important than paying customers. This was at midnight. We ended up having to drive two hours back home. The lady at the front desk also said that I was lucky that she reimbursed me the cost of the room, stating that she didn't have to because we set our bags in the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
