Early in life, you never really feel like you're doing the right thing or making the right decision or just feel 100% sure about anything until you have that approval or advice or just a wise word from your dad or your grandpa or your favorite Uncle or that solid male figure that you could always look up to. I sadly have never had one of these and if I did they're no longer around. Going into finding a pawn shop, fear and anxiety consumed me, as making phone calls and finding places like these, isn't always the easiest. My current unfortunate circumstance made this phone call and the anxiety I feared, much much worse, as making phone calls for everyday things became harder and harder due to stereotypes. But a lot of people nowadays are looking for handouts and all I wanted was a fair price on something special to me, that I had to part with in exchange for money to help my child and myself out of our current circumstance. As if that situation alone wasn't hard enough on top of the fear of the phone call, finding someone I could trust, I just thought it was gonna be an all day thing ending in disappointment and didn't look forward to it all doing it. The 1st phone call that I made I was referred to Mister Moneybags From another mobile pawn service. My phone call was not answered the 1st time but I was quickly and immediately called back And the 1st initial word communicated between us just gave you that sense of "home", that sense of "am I making the right choice?" Given by that 1 male figure that you always needed a word from to make assurance 100%.. I called looking for a service and I was more than served. I was given a chance. I wasn't stereotyped. And I was no longer scared. The call not only gave me what I was searching for being money, but it gave me hope, a smile, a happy tear or 2, Education that I was lacking in the general process but I was given a forever business that I will always turn to when needing to buy or sell things that are hard to buy/sell whether they be close to my heart or someone else's. Mister Money Bags is not only a phenomenal business with service to match, but they are a blessing I will turn to for 100% assurance for as long as I live.

Met with Jim for a transaction just five minutes ago. He's honestly the nicest guy I've met in a very long time. He stuck his neck out in a VERY big way when he had absolutely no reason to. Jim is the kind of guy you want in your corner at all times. He's beyond generous and has done me and my family a service i will NEVER forget. He didnt just make my day, he made my whole month. My husband and I have never used the services that a pawn shop offers. I must say truthfully I simply googled “pawn shops near me” and Mister Money Bags was one of the choices. After what seemed like hours later, I chose to call Jim aka Mr. $ Bags. Jim was very respectable and swift with contacting me back. We had set a place to meet with giving me fully the choice for date and time. Once agreed Jim wanted me to feel safe so he chose a very open and public place that is a high volume restaurant. My husband had chosen to move forward in our agreement. However things became complicated. I came to find out when I had my diamond remounted the jeweler whom cut the diamond severely damaged it. The original appraisal from the “diamond killer jeweler” upon walking in was $23,000. Wow that’s a great amount right? Well come to find out after having a reputable company named the Jewel House and also Jim speaking with some other out sourced specialized diamond appraisals and cutting this expensive diamond now became worth $150.00. Now you can imagine my husband and I grief but we did not share this alone. Jim was determined to get us the greatest value at the request of what we ask for. He did not discourage however he was preparing me for a real response. During this entire process this time was a matter of two weeks and the final decision from getting the news and moving forward was literally 2 days. Jim again was very knowledgeable and as a another note to who Jim Pavlish Mr. Money Bags took zero commission and actually gave us his money from the buyer. So now I wanna tell you the value was $150 he sold it for $500. You may say wow what a loss. Than I would say to you “my friend” you need to reread this because you missed the whole intent of my review. Final thought I have is................. Jim is the most honest, compassionate, and truthful person I have met. It was our honor and pleasure to meet Mr. Money Bags aka Jim. If your in need or just looking as pleasure this is the man I would recommend.

I hit up Jim and he met me 20 minutes later. He offered me $60 for my necklace and immediately raised it to $80 even after I admitted I had no clue how much it was worth. He was very nice and if I had more jewelry would definitely call Jim again.

Divorce is hard. Healing and liberation is wonderful! When I decided I was ready to sell my wedding ring I reached out to Jim. He was awesome on the phone and agreed to meet me during my lunch break. I had a lot of factors working against me (My ring size is really small, it hadn't been cleaned because it's been sitting in my jewelry box for 2 years, the diamonds were quite small, and it was only 10k white gold). I really only expected $50-$100 from it. Jim was nice, personable, fair and paid me quite a bit more than I was expecting. In a post Covid wasteland where respect for others and decent business practices are dead, this experience was a breath of fresh air. Don't bother shopping around and getting different quotes. Jim will appraise your ring right in front of you and pay you 80% of what he will get back from it
