Cleveland
Clinic
should
not
even
bother
to
have
an
emergency
room,
if
this
is
what
they
call
it.
I
brought
my
husband
here
from
Detroit,
Michigan
as
he
was
in
a
severe
state
of
weakness
and
shortness
of
breath
following
bypass
surgery
and
valve
replacement
in
February.
We
waited
three
hours,
before
I
took
him
and
left
(in
a
wheelchair).
Many
others
there
had
waited
far
longer,
and
kept
being
told
that
no
one
could
be
seen
until
a
bed
opened
in
the
ER
by
a
patient
discharge,
or
admission.
None
of
which
occurred
during
our
time
there.
When
I
finally
asked
for
a
nurse,
I
was
told
there
were
lots
of
people
with
serious
issues
that
she
was
taking
care
of,
lots,
and
that
my
husband
was
still
in
the
'high
priority'
list
(after
three
hours).
Appalling.
We
took
him
to
the
University
of
Michigan
Emergency
Room
(which
was
undergoing
a
surge
of
Covid
cases)
and
in
25
minutes,
we
were
registered,
triaged,
and
back
with
three
nurses.
Within
2
hours,
we
were
admitted,
being
told
my
husband
was
a
very
sick
man-as
we
knew.
I
am
not
going
to
dwell
on
the
Cleveland
Clinic
ER
rudeness,
or
lack
of
caring,
nor
the
filth
of
the
place,
but
if
you
have
someone
who
is
in
need
of
medical
attention
now-DO
NOT
GO
THERE.
I
also
cancelled
my
appointment
for
a
consultation
at
the
Clinic
on
5/24.
If
this
is
what
they
consider
being
No.
1
is,
they
are
sorely
mistaken.
Thank
God
for
the
University
of
Michigan
ER
and
Hospital,
where
my
husband
is
finally
getting
the
care
he
desparately
needed.
I
would
post
no
stars
if
I
could.
