Monday-Saturday 8am-9pm Sunday 8am-4pm (hours as of 08/28/18). I love that there is a warm (cool in summer) space that is free and fun for my kids to play in! Supposed to wear socks! The large play structure is a little tough for children under four but some three year olds were managing fine. There is also a smaller play 'hill' with a tunnel and slide...a mini Hobbit hill. The whole space is carpeted in turf which is super soft for everyone. A long curved bench lines the side for comfy watching. There is also a huge turf field and ball bin right next door so you can have your climber and your runner content. There is a deep 'swimming pool' pit full of foam squares. It looks shallow but is actually very deep (5 and half feet) so watch for crawlers and big kids burying themselves. The squares are big so it's hard to get very far down. The bathrooms are close with a changing table, no auto-flush but still a little loud, water fountain (can fill up bottles), and a fantastic Cafe. Diary free options. Coffee, tea, smoothies, sweet and savory options...There is a party room, a fireplace area, chairs, & tables.

Free, good coffee, large clean play structure area, large indoor open play space, well lit, cozy. A bit loud, but how else could it be with a hundred kids having a good time. This is a great facility.

It has a great playground and the people there is very friendly. During the week sometimes it haz some activities for kids and on Sundays during their service, they offer help to take care of the kids.

The Pioneer Class of 1982 was lucky enough to have our 40th Class Reunion at 2/42 Community Church/Ann Arbor this weekend. What a wonderful venue and staff who were great to work with. The space was perfect for a memorable evening! Thank you so much! The Pioneer Class of 1982

There's an awesome indoor play area with pkay structures and artificial grass - just like outdoors, but indoors! There's a 'big kid' (5-12) area and a 'little kid' (under 5) area. The pic is the 'little kid' area, but you can see into the other area a bit. It's basically a warehouse turned into a play area. There is no charge to get in, and no overt expectations created - just a neighborhood thing.

Beautiful church. We attend Taylor 242 and visited Ann Arbor. The place was nice. The indoor playland was a big hit for my 8 yr old!

Their play area is awesome!!! The perfect place to have a kids get-together!!! It is spacious and has a lot of natural lighting so in the winter months it feels good to get the sun in your face while you're there!!! If you're looking for a place for your kids to run around and just be kids....look no further!!!

I didn't want to love 242. We had been attending another church for over 10 years, but visited 242 a few times. Each time, I couldn't stop thinking about the message or the service for days and sometimes weeks. Over the pandemic we started watching the services on tv. We ingested what we heard and noticed it was having an effect on our lives...reading the bible more, praying more, changing things. It just seemed like there was fruit of the holy spirit that we couldn't ignore. So we made the hard decision to switch churches and I'm thankful we did. And of course there's the added perk of great coffee and a play structure for the kids:). That's just icing on the already awesome cake, though! (oh and just a note, it took me awhile to discover there is a great hiking trail in Saginaw woods right next door...for outdoor enthusiasts, it's a nice place to get out in nature after the service!).

I've moved a lot so I've been to a ton of churches and I must say this one it's not like any other church I've been to it's awesome. Not to mention the people there are incredibly friendly almost like family I feel. Definitely found the church I'll be at every Sunday.

Always fun and clean - open to everyone. They got rid of the foam pit during Covid. Check the schedule before going. Indoor playground area and astroturf area for kids to play any time of year, often a kids movie playing in background. They allow outside food & drink, but also have a little cafe. We've never encountered any religious pressure or proselytizing while there, but their church materials are available for those interested.

Great indoor playground for kids ages 2-12. Perfect spot to get run around when it's cold outside.

😐 Adorable! However, we did not realize Dogs were prohibited until we arrived. I searched the County Website specifically to ensure we could take our dogs. Other reviews and pics allude to walking dogs... Maybe I missed a rules page somewhere. So I'm posting this to assist others looking for a place o...
