Not a big fan of peri peri. I just don’t like the taste and smell of it. I’ve tried it in different countries, different restaurants, same feelings every time. Although a lot of my friends liked it and spoke very highly. The place looked really nice. The folks are friendly, fast service and great portion for the price.

Was very excited to find a Portugese Peri Peri spot in metro Detroit. Food was excellent. Everything is made to order, so patience may be necessary, especially if they’re busy. The extra hot sauce isn’t wildly spicy, but it’s very flavorful. The grilled paneer was wonderful too.

It was nice reminded me of Nandos Good service and ambiance. There is plenty of seating area. It would be nice if the chicken portion size was a bit bigger. Mild was enough spice for me All Halal

I tried the newest menu item, juicy beef ribs, and they were amazing! The food is great and has a distinct flavor. The fries are a must try! Casual environment and friendly staff.

Excellent food with faster service. The taste was very nice and Peri peri tenders was our choice. Halal food is a big plus, and which is unique in many ways, especially for these food. Dessert is very nice too, Tiramisu is fantastic. On the negative side, lack of cutleries and hand tissues - it wasn’t refilled and Rest rooms were pathetic and totally unclean. Other than that the restaurant ambience was nice and moderately crowded.

Unique flavors, well cooked and tasty chicken. But the side size is small v/s the price: rice / fries are served in small bowl and are not enough for a person if you have ordered 1/4 chicken

The food was amazing, the chicken was well seasoned juicy and tender. I do recommend this place and definitely coming back. The staff was great and fast. They helped with making suggestions and alternatives.

Very tasty food. They have a variety sauce with different spice levels that you can choose to go on with any food you order. Mango lemonade was good.

Had the 1/4 chicken with two sides today. The chicken was fantastic and juicy, medium sauce was spicy and flavorful with a nice bright citrus flavor. The rice is excellent, would not get the cole slaw again. It balances the heat from the sauce well, but the flavor wasn't to my preference. Portions are great, you only need one side.

The environment is good, food is cooked right. Customer service is fast. The only thing is the amount of sauce they put on the food is insane. You definitely need a bib if you are eating in the restaurant and infinite supply of napkins to clean your hands if somehow you touched it. Overall, its a nice

Delicious Flavor! Grill perfectionist. Yummy chicken thigh and leg with mild sauce, the yellow rice was exceptional. Definitely going back to have again. Interior is clean and modern.

Please please please improve your grass fed burger! I want to love it so bad but it was very tough and dry. Did not look anything like the picture promoted. I’d literally be a repeat customer weekly if that was improved since it’s hard to find grass fed halal burgers. But The fries were 10/10 (;

I’m new to the area and this is my first time stopping in. Very friendly, informative (I have dietary restrictions), and welcoming staff. Delicious food as well, I’ll definitely be stopping by again soon.

Stopped in here for the first time for a late lunch. Very clean inside, relaxed vibe, and friendly staff. The Peri wings are phenomenal. You'd be hard pressed to find a better chicken wing, or a more unique flavor in this area. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

If you are looking for tasty chicken and too in a fast food style place “port of peri peri” is the answer. The chicken is so tasty, juicy and smoky. They have good spice level options. Our favorite items are Cassava fries Chicken Paneer with rice Peri peri corn.

I like the flavors and chicken , Closest you can get to Nando peri peri here in Detroit. I would suggest medium or hot, extra hot is way too hot for me 🥵.

Food was awesome - the chicken was well-seasoned and the sides were delicious. However, it wasn’t until about halfway into our meal that I realized everything was STICKY - the counters, the chairs, the booths, the sauce bottles, EVERYTHING. When is the last time yall cleaned? Made me wonder if the food prep area was as clean/the food was handled as properly as it could’ve been… I’m a little turned off by that, so I won’t be back.

Excellent food. Great staff. Well cooked chicken. Love all the heat level sauces (pro tip, pay a bit extra for extra saucy on the app)! We’ve been to many different locations of Port of Peri Peri, and this is one of the best locations, so much so that we frequently drive the two hours just to come here!

My experience today was amazing with the chicken. The grilled chicken was so nice and ready the service was easily and smooth and fast. This is most place I like it about the spice and the taste of the food is very good. I recommend this place so everybody. When you go there, please look for Rezwan he’s amazing guy, will helping you a lot.
