Love the security Big Sean and old school but the head bartender was very disrespectful and very rude to a group of women waiting in line for the bathroom one of them had a hard time holding their pee since the facilities only have one operable women bathroom I feel bad for her and I let her go in the men's bathroom and stood guard at the door the head bartender scene that and immediately rushed over to say he had to use the bathroom now she must pull her pants up and get out I explained to him that Hey sir you're a man you can go pee outside in the bushes without any problem allow these women who are patronizing your business buying drinks dancing and having a good time to use the bathroom properly and without rushing he said he didn't care they needed to get out the bathroom now I said hey if that was your mom or your wife you wouldn't want anyone to treat them like that he said he didn't care they need to get out of the bathroom and I need to get out the bar so needless to say I'm banned from the Glen and I feel like any women who are in the Downey area do not patronize a business who has no respect for you

I personally enjoyed it. It's more of a local spot. More laid back. It's more of an older crowd maybe ages 30-50. There's no food just beverages. It gets busy but the bartender was great and getting the drinks out quick!

Love my local bar since Mr Glen originally owned it, would sneak in at times back in 1990 when I was a rebel back them and Mr Glen would enjoy our young company and treat us like adults. Hed conversate w us and eventually tell us we werent old enough and lead us our way out. I did and DO have much Love for him to this date, he was battling Cancer and never made it but i warm-heartedly remember his sweet heart and I told him I'd be back here at the right age. I'm way older and still loyal to this bar, Lots of love and respect Mr Glen!!!! As for our newer Glen love the service, its clean, always got my Poison cold and stocked up Modelo Negra, have many returning friends here all the time. My Friend/Bar Manager Carlos and fellow bartenders are Great Glens Employees since The Glen reopened acouple years ago. Their basically Family. I order food @ Stewart & Grub and have them send it to The Glen and I enjoy that restaurants food w my favorite Beverage. They hot great music, Djs, Epic Kareoke nights. My respects

Love the drinks here!!!! The bartender Alex is the best!!! Not only is he friendly but incredibly kind. My friend was incredibly wasted and they were okay with the car being left there and made sure it was watched over. Would give a better rating if possible.

Service was good. But the bartenders were kinda mean, but in a I'm cool type of guy. Maybe they just didn't like me? I was the DD after all and only had 2 beers for the 2 hours I was there. Not sure if some people like that kind of attitude but I sure didn't.

Always a fun little spot. Never know what will happen: play some pool, do a little dancing, see a fight break out, and get great drink accommodations. Drink responsibly!

Ok coming here was a nightmare I have never in my life believed in a Karen but oh boy they sure do have one at the Glenn. Damm was having a good time till Karen came along and said I cant whistle at the place, . Rude and un professional and very disrespectful.

Brittany was cool peoples, don't remember the other tenders name, but she was also an amazing girl (with black curly Hair).they didn't kick us out even after my friend was well over his drinking capacity. Haha great staff.

Good place to go and relax. Bartenders are mostly good, and prices are about what they should be. Once the dj there was what aay out of line with someone who was with me and I confronted him. He had the lack of common sense of telling me he is from INGLEWOOD (so?) And that he has a black belt in judo and Tae Kwon do. WHAT??? He was a fat old black dude who was out of shape! He was an idiot but as for the rest of the people working there, and better experience.

Got heckled by a bunch of half and quarter-Mexican, looser wannabe bikers saying I was "too/real white," repeatidly, just walking to a nearby shop.

First time there after living in Downey for a long time, but overall the place is to small for pool table and karaoke all at once. Restroom were flirty and no attention at all although I'd won't revisit again.Just saying.

Ive been going to The Glen for about 5 years. I just left there at 9:50 pm and apparently "cut off" due to the bartender Jeanette's friends having an issue with me. It was apparently Jeanette's bday and even though it was her taking about 7 shots behind the bar in the short time I was there, they proceeded to "cut me off" after I ordered 2 Palomas which both ended up watered down as I didn't even finish. Im a local and been coming here for so long, have had great nights and have never ever been treated this way. I guess you have to be the bartenders friend and her friends need to like you in order to be treated with respect. I probably won't come here for a very long time and definitely not when this staff is on. Good luck to this place

Great place been going there for many years bartender's are great and fast music is great. All around great atmosphere.
