    At first i thought this place was worth the price. Needing code for each gate and elevator, as well as cameras everywhere. The place looks fairly clean and has AC as a bonus so figured my stuff is safe. But unfortunately my unit was broken into. I paid a lot for this place because I reasoned the extra price is for the extra security. But looks like I was wrong. I am in one morning to grab some stuff and leave but instead spent hours dealing with this fiasco. I just decided to move all my stuff out and now have to deal with insurance who after looking at reviews do not seem like the most hopeful/understanding. If you have anything of value or anything sentimental that you don't want stolen, look somewhere else.

    Horrible experience!!! my stuff were full of rat physis. I was so disgusted.My sister got an allergic reaction. I couldn't leave my belongings there one more day. I had to throw away most of the things I had stored. Which is the worst part and the rest I had to move to Firestone Public storage. Much better service of location !!

    Worst storage experience ever. Property Manager was exceptionally rude when I questioned why she locked me out of my storage - my bill was paid! I gave notice to vacate 15 days in advance but still received a bill for July, smh. I had to spend more time over the phone getting that charge off, good thing I had pictures of my emptied storage. Terrible hours, dirty facilities most of the time I used it, and to top it off, no cameras to protect our personal effects. This is NOT a safe place to rent a storage.

    So this place may have you clicking on it because it’s appealing as one dollar. Well, you better be certain that you want to go through with this because this is my experience I am going through something personal and I have to leave the state immediately so on November 23 I made the reservation however on the 24th I wanted to call to cancel because there is no way through their site corporate or otherwise that you can cancel this reservation. So I tried to follow by their rules. I sent a message 12 hours later I did not receive any follow-up message I called and left a voicemail 12 hours later I did not receive any follow-up voicemail and there was no notification that they were going to be off on a holiday or the day following. Finally on November 26 I received a call saying that the reservation will be canceled and I will be refunded and I will be sent an email with that. And that should’ve been a great five-star experience however, today November 30 I look into my account and my account is overdrawn by $36 because they in fact did not refund me but they charge me for the actual storage day so when I called the facility, there’s nothing they can do about it because of the system that they used which is having them send me a paper check. In this year 2022 they’re saying that they cannot cancel a check and use that money to refund it to my debit card electronically is an “impossible thing to do”. If you do any type of electronic payments by public storage and you want a refund, they”ll will give you the refund however, it will be issued by check so whatever card or ach method …. make sure you don’t need it. I received no help, no empathy nothing when the majority of problem was with public storage employees and their lack communication and transparency please be aware.

    I've only been here 2 weeks and this is my first time using a storage and this is by far the worst storage experience I have ever thought of !!! Twice these people have locked up my Driver's license in their office because they ask for ID to hold just to use a cart !! They were out of the office and I had to wait almost an hour for my ID to leave. Once they were about to close while keeping my ID. They had me waiting an hour to use the bathroom key because bathrooms stay locked. I'm definitely moving out this week

    You knkw it would be a great business if the property managers that are ON THE ACTUAL property ACTUALLY HELP YOU. Instead of leaving you waiting for hours with no one answeringbthe phone... your business NEEDS to do better

    Today was my first time renting a storage and Enrique made this experience seamless. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all of my questions and provided me with a lot helpful information. He definitely should be promoted to a manger position because his customer service skills are top tier because of his skill set I will be a continuous customer!

    UPDATING MY REVIEW - 10/2: 1. So Customer Service called me about this and they did apologize. They said they were gonna do something about it like most likely give a headsup that someone will use the loading dock or something but I do not think so. 2. They are actually still nice despite all. I lost my ID and they returned it to me with a smile. Just keeping it to 4 for now since there's a lot more for improvement :-) Public Storage in Alameda, CA. I exited late by 7mins and they issued me a warning or notice that I stayed late when I clearly communicated with the staff/management that it was hard to move my things because there was a truck kind of blocking the entrance. I had planned that we were just gonna use the cart to move things so it is quicker but it was impossible with the truck being there. I told them that I am suggesting to have some limit on the time a truck/tenant can park in the loading zone or at least a scheduled slot to use the zone because what if there's other people who wants to use the entrance to load things. Yes, I definitely want to respect people's time so I think in order to respect people's time, there should be a limit or schedule when using that loading zone. Even loading zones in the streets have time limit. I hurried up even though loading my stuff was difficult and it hurt and injured me so I can leave by 6PM. I never want to get off late out of the property. Had I not cared about the time, I wouldn't have told the staff about my struggles because of the truck being there. They knew what was going on and they still issued me a warning for 7 min late. Also, what about the the other tenants not respecting that other people want to use the entrance. I talked to the staff and they just disregarded my suggestion or feedback (especially since they said I am the only one who complained about this) and said just worry about me getting out of the property on time. Yes, I do worry about that. I planned, I hurried. I got off an hour earlier than usual from my job. I planned to use the cart. BUT I did not expect there will be a truck there that will stay for more than an hour, limiting me to use the cart and not move faster. There should be a time limit or permit to use the loading zone. That's what I suggested. They said nothing is gonna happen to my account because of this but it bothers me that I am getting warned over this or I have some records of not following the rule when they knew what was going on. I am still open to change this review if I am heard. If I did not care about this rule - I would not even talk to the manager, call them or even write this review.

    Terrible service! I called more than 10 times today bcus I rented a storage this morning I load everything and get there but it turns out the gate codes are not working for everybody there waiting outside. I’m calling and calling for them to fix this as they are so quick to charge but the lady that answered me just hung up on me and didn’t answer after that anymore. I’ve been calling and still no answer but they already charged me card

    Extremely poor customer service. The information I was emailed with my gate info says I have access until 9pm. I showed up at 6 PM with a truck. I entered my code and it said that they were closed I went to the office and the woman inside yelled from behind the counter that they were closed I said I’m aware that they are closed in the office however I just need access to my unit it says I have until 9 PM at least (pointing to phone). She pointed at the window and said that they were closed. (The window only has office hours it does not have anything listed for access hours.). The woman had an attitude And continued to yell from across the way, her attitude became more obvious as I continued to ask her to repeat herself. A problem that could have been easily mitigated had she at least come within a descent eat shot in order to address my concern. She was extremely unprofessional unfriendly and unhelpful giving attitude and yelling passive aggressive remarks instead of addressing my concern of access hours. 6pm is extremely early to not have access to a unit. Their hours are not convenient nor do the match what I was emailed. The individual next to her just sat there in silence. The last thing I was able to hear her say was to call the property manager so they could tell me that they were closed. She was extremely rude. She could have came to the door and at least explained that there were errors instead of yelling smart remarks. I rented a truck and have to now keep it another day on-top of being treated so rudely.

    Robert, Chris, Dylan and Kandy are the best at what they do. This was my first time renting a storage unit so I was recommended to Public Storage on Alameda and Florance in Huntington Park and to my surprise from the moment I got there they took care of me. Easy to access my storage great prices to even friendly customer service.

    No trash cans available for customers. Employee was extremely aggressive and rude when I asked if I could throw away a few small pieces of trash. Price increased without warning. The hours are also really terrible.

    I have rented units with other Public Storage locations but this location has by far been the best one yet. Each time I come to Huntington Park, I'm always satisfied with the facility. The staff here provides excellent customer service and help me meet my needs. The units are always well taken care of and cleaned, which makes a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for a storage unit.

    We needed a storage space fast, I reserved online and came to the Alameda location to finish the transaction. Cloie helped us out, she gave us a tour of the unit and shared important info along the way. She was super nice and helpful and explained the insurance, the way the prorate would work etc. She made sure we got the best rate which was amazing! Don't hesitate, if you need to put stuff away come to this location!

    Cloie was very polite, professional, and helpful. She promptly fixed an issue with my rental agreement. She helped when I loaded my things onto the cart. She also helped with handing my items up the ladder. I was irritated at first but her demeanor calmed me. Girl needs a raise.

    Rented a 5x 4 After 1 month it was broken in, burglered. Stole my stuff, valuables gone. Terrible. Not safe to put anything there. Hunington Park LA , no good! It looks safe with pin and access but it is not! Canceled rental immidiately

    Wonderful customer service today. There was a shortage of dollies and I had a flight to catch so I was starting to panic. Cloie (sp) brought me the office dolly and helped me load my car. I thought there was no chance I could catch my flight but her cheerful energy worked somehow to make unloading and traffic smooth. I made my flight — thanks you Cloie and other wonderful staff there!

    RUN DONT WALK!! Rats are everywhere I was robbed they left me with no roof for months. And made excuses why only my floor had no camera and why they never got back to me when calling. Then they charged me and tried to auction my things when reporting them. So I took my stuff and left after paying for the months of hell. Go anywhere else !!

    Came to this facility to move out. I forgot how great the service here. Remind me of a good old days when service was a issue. Robert Victor and Enrique are the best they backup each other and they're easy to work with. Wish I didn't have to leave.
