I cannot say enough about The Jewish Home Family. My mother-in-law was admitted here after breaking her hip, having partial replacement surgery and experiencing a nightmare at a different rehab facility where she contracted a horrible infection that landed her in the hospital for 13 days. The Jewish Home Family is fabulous in every way. Clean, modern facilities, single rooms and outstanding staff. The rehab gym is state of the art and the PT/OT team is excellent. Some of the hardest working and under appreciated workers are the aides. Huge thanks to Marva Lawrence who was wonderful and caring to my mother-in-law and a joy to work with. We feel very blessed to have been here and she is leaving walking out! Thank you!!

My grandmother is 96 and has been staying here for a few weeks to rehab after a bad leg break. She is a little confused about where she is at times and the staff has been great with her and extremely patient. The nurses, aides, and PT/OT team have all been so sweet with her. One of the aides, Marva Lawrence, has been a true godsend. She is so knowledgeable, reliable, and kindhearted and always comes in with great energy. She takes such great care of my grandmother and always has her best interest in mind. She is so respectful of my grandmother and keeps her dignity, comfort, and recovery in mind at all times, even/especially when my grandmother is having a hard day. At the end of December when the facility was a little understaffed due to illness and holiday time, Marva was the constant. She picked up all the slack and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. We are so grateful to Marva and the rest of the staff for helping my grandmother through this recovery.

I thought the place was super clean, didn’t have a hospital smell. The room was nice clean and bright. Everyone I passed in the hall was friendly. I got a little lost trying to find my way out, a very nice lady led the way for me.

My mom broke her hip and was in the JHF for over a month. The facilities are superb, and the staff is first-rate - especially Marva. She genuinely cares about her patients and was so wonderful to my mom. I don't know what I would have done without her. She's very special and we were so fortunate to be under her loving care.

My mom has been recovering at Jewish Home for the past few months and we can attest to the great care that she has been receiving from all staff. Marva Lawrence especially has been so attentive, empathetic, and supportive with my mom (and so many other residents). Her dedication knows no bounds! Judy and Kani are always a joy. Jeesa and Beena do PT/OT with her nearly every day and are deeply motivational support systems. Mark and Perla at the front desk are extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well!

Unfortunately , I have needed rehab. This is Ny first time at Rockleigh and they are the β€œGold Standard.” The PT is excellent their main concern is getting you well . Throw in the excellent food, friendly staff and that’s part of what has made my experience so positive.

My dad was a patient for 6 weeks and I can not say enough great things about the Jewish Home. I visited a number of facilities before his admission and by far this was the most clean and with spacious private rooms. The grounds are beautiful as well - I took him for many walks around the property. As for the staff- his aide Marva was spectacular!! She looks out for her patients like they are part of her family. Whenever I had an issue - she would be there to lend a hand. My dad looked very much forward to her daily visits. And the girls in PT and OT - Kassia and Joanne went above and beyond to get my dad back on his feet and able to go home to take care of himself. The nursing staff on the second floor were also very responsive and helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you to everyone!

I went to Jewish Family Home for Rehab after having a broken hip and hip replacement. Marva Lawrence was my primary aide during the day. She was attentive, very helpful and I looked forward to her morning greeting. If I needed nursing help, she made sure to find someone right away. The facility was clean and bright. PT/OT were very helpful and knowledgeable. I thank them for their help and encouragement. The nursing staff were excellent. Thank you all!

Wow where do I start. Marva Lawrence is a God send to me. I’ll start from the beginning. I came to the Jewish Home back in June 2023 after a surgery to remove 4 toes. After 4 months of recovery from that I was cleared for quadruple bypass surgery and after 5 days returned to Jewish Home. This is where I met Marva Lawrence. She took care of me the most gentle caring way. Always making sure I was comfortable and not in pain. To this day one month after surgery she still cares for me. I think I’ve healed faster thanks to her. She’s the best, she is my angel. Anyone who gets to experience her above and beyond care is truly lucky and blessed.

The Jewish Home at Rockleigh is an outstanding facility. In addition, I have to praise my aid, Marva Lawrence . She is attentive, antiicipates my needs and can always look forward to her smiling face. She is a true roll modelwho should I be cloned.

My cousin has been in & out of rehab at the Jewish home for more than a month. It is a beautiful place. She is happy there. As a visitor, I would only request more signage to indicate directions to rooms & maybe a sign near each elevator indicating where the exit to the building is. It is VERY confusing finding ones way around....

Up until this morning I would have given a glowing report. My 90 year old mother is there recuperating from a broken femur . This is only her second full day there...and after I brought her back from the sabbath service she needed to go to the bathroom badly. I was told to put the call bell on and wait for the aide wait by a nurse. Mom was getting increasingly anxious and with no one in the hallway or at the desk to see the flashing light I stepped into the vestibule of the room next door to my mom's to see if the woman working in there was the aide for my mom..The door was wide open. She jumped down my throat and very nastily told me I am not allowed in another pts room...and I need to get out. Meanwhile, I went back to see how my mom was and she looked really awful..said she didn't want to go in the diaper and said her stomach hurt. I told two different staff members about the aide's behavior and eventually two people came in to take care of my mom. Up until then I had only good things to say about Rockleigh Jewish Family home. This is the only negative occurence in two days..and it is just this one woman being snippy. Let's see how things go moving forward.
