I am Natalia Mejia’s husband, and I was with her yesterday in this uncomfortable situation. 1. Yes, you yelled out at my wife, and kicked her out (not physically but verbally)that’s why I yelled at you, if we are lying show the cameras. 2. My wife’s dog has all certificates to be her service dog and help my wife with her condition, we offered to show you all documents and you said that people fake these documents, so you did not let us to show them. 3. If you fake your permits and certificates, we DO NOT. 4. It would be helpful for you to read the law. To avoid these uncomfortable moments to your clients.

Great place to find fresh meat. They also have a wide selection of Colombian and Latin American products. If you don't find something they usually carry, try to get back on or after Fridays since they usually get their inventory restocked that day.

Even if they weren't the only actual butcher shop in the area, they'd still be the best. Great cuts, fast service, knowledgable staff. Plus they've got those South American snacks and foods (Guarana <3). I hear they used to have a little restaurant in the back but as far as I can tell, it's no longer there.

The cleanest butcher in Queens along with the nicest kindest people. My wife has been coming here for ten years. This is the place we go for the best meat to dry and make our own jerky, my wife is from Bhutan and dried meat is a must have to cook with. We also bought incredible porterhouse steaks and pork belly to dry. Come here and you will go home smiling.

Great shop that has a broad selection with friendly staff. Ricardo went above and beyond to help and educate me on a variety of cuts that I wouldn’t have normally looked to purchase. Will be back and thank you!

Great cuts, great prices! The thing I like most about this place is that they don't care about your ethnicity. Being it's a primarily spanish speaking place, I would expect to get looked past or misunderstood. No matter, they took my order multiple times now and did not scoff at me being different than most of their clientele. Their cuts are excellent, they will cut it any way you like. Their prices are on par with grocery stores and much cheaper than other butchers', and the quality is top notch. BE aware you can wait some time especially on the weekend, but it's worth the wait, and they do have a ticket system which helps prevent others from cutting in line. The owner (I believe) who works the register is very friendly, and always asks if I found everything I needed. Las Americas also has some very hard to find spanish staples, which I have searched high and low for with no luck. If you are in the neighborhood give them a try! My only complaint, albeit a small one and not worth a star off, is their hours. I don't get off of work until 7PM and they are usually closed by that time. No matter, I will go out of my way to get my meat on the weekend. Lastly, regarding the complaint that they handle the meat and money together is completely unfounded. I've been coming here for years, and it has always been completely separate sides of the store. The butcher (never not wearing gloves) writes the amounts on a piece of paper, which you walk with to the OTHER SIDE OF THE STORE, where you pay. You then bring the receipt back to the butcher who hands you the product. The cahier is always wearing gloves as well. Unfounded reviews are the detriment to small businesses, and it's a shame they even exist. Furthermore the lady saying this has left not 1 positive review elsewhere, so she's just fundamentally upset.
