The General Manager of this store, Satchel McLean, is a disaster. Very disrespectful towards his employees, especially the managers, constantly calling them and shouting about stuff they have no control over. Every single day he logs into the system and changes people's schedules, cuts hours, and schedules them for shifts for which they are not available. When you go to complain to your manager, they just shrug their shoulders and say "you have to talk to Satchel". They all either don't care or are scared of him. Countless valuable workers have either quit or transferred to other clubs, and they all cite him, his attitude, and his lack of professionalism as the reason. The store is always understaffed because he is too cheap to let more people work. The electric carts are all broken and sitting in the back because he is too cheap to replace them. The store has had elderly and disabled club members complain several times that they cannot get around the floor without the carts, but to no avail. Cages with boxes at the front all have broken rods, which is a safety hazard - too cheap to replace them. Gray bins used to pick up boxes from the floor are all missing wheels, employees have to move them around on pallet jacks, which is a safety hazard - too cheap to replace them. The garbage compactor is breaking down every other week - too cheap to replace it, easier to just keep shoving garbage down with a pipe. Recently, a maintenance worker transferred stores and there's been nobody to keep the location clean at nights because he is too cheap to schedule anybody else. This place under Satchel is a joke and I sincerely hope that he is soon removed from his position, otherwise, everybody will stop shopping here.

Racially profile!!!! I ordered items online to pick up in the store. I did that. The people in the back DID NOT HAND ME THE RECEIPT to leave the building. I get to the live to leave Jeanette says I need a receipt. I showed her my online pickup order and the check out proof. They said go back and get the receipt. So I went back to get the receipt. This took another 15 min BECAUSE the people were overwhelmed. I go back with the receipt and with the girl that printed it. This Jeanette said I need to open my bag! So many others passed she didn’t ask anyone else. Why me? BECAUSE in an African American. I do not need to steal. If they have cameras why ask only me?! Disgusting. I’ve been going here for years. Never did I encounter that. But if I was vocal, I’d be the problem? Then my life would be at risk. Disgusting

Good place to delivery. * Overnight parking in the back of building. * Fast unload. * It's a little tight for maneuvering.

This place has definitely gone downhill. The deli department is always slow and I mean slow. The workers never cut the cold cuts correctly no matter how many times you tell them. Always a long wait even if there's 3 people behind the counter. Customer service is horrible. I went to pick up My online order purchase and there were no signs anywhere that said you had to go to the back of the store by register number 27 for pickup. The female in customer service was too busy conversating with her friends to mention that so I waited on the line for over 20 minutes for nothing. Very unfriendly workers and everyone has an attitude.

Worse place ever! Roaches by the register area. The lines to exit go all the way to the back area. And for the love of god can you please just leave the scan guns at the registers. There is nothing more annoying then waiting for a worker to scan one big item from your cart when it could have been avoided if the scan guns were at the register. I rather take a ride to Long Island and shop there just to avoid this mess of a place.

I really like BJ’s because I can get things in bulk and it is super convenient, but I am starting to feel like shopping here is more of a hassle than a help. I order groceries for delivery and 80% of the time there is an issue. The last time I ordered, I received like 1/2 of my groceries, and I don’t really think it’s the delivery service that’s the issue. I will not be ordering for delivery now that my 12 deliveries have been used.

A decent BJs...good vendor sampling stations. Fair prices on many basic items (milk, eggs, dairy, meats, etc). Could use more selection on prepared foods, but I like to cook my own food when possible. Decent skin care and health and beauty section. Would give 4 1/2 because of lack of prepared foods there compared to other BJs I have went to. Also, their generic toilet paper and paper towels are some of the best deals you can get on those two types of items.

If I could curse on this I would. I bought a party plate with cheese and salami’s, expiration date was labeled due December. There was mold on it, and my family including myself were eating it. Disgusting. Everything is either expired, open, starting to form mold. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. The people are nasty, the workers are nice. Disgusting place full of nastiness.
