Latest…..nanny state. This place had the nerve to ban news stations in their TVs. Maybe they should stop imposing their political views on its members, and manage this place. Ridiculous Gym has been progressively getting worse. Any adults thinking about joining you should go visit after work first. Gym is full of High School kids who hoard around equipment for an extended time. You will get frustrated. Bunch of kids looking in the mirror and flexing. Place has gotten worse so beware. New thing, no more news channels. All sports. Control freaks. The only gym ever attended that treats customers this way. Forget working out and catching up on world events. Shameful

Too crowded with kids. They congregate in small crowds in the free weight gym or other equipment. They talk, look at their phones, look in the mirror and flex their muscles, and monopolize equipment for extended times. It is next to impossible to work out here. There are gym managers sitting at the desk, but nothing changes as the issue is ignored. They need to consider have time slots for these areas so they are not monopolized. If you need to work out after work, you are out of luck, as they all come here during this prime time. I hope they are part of spring high school sports and go away instead of hanging out here.

Excellent warm pools and outstanding customer service.

Men’s locker room is inexcusably filthy. If there was one word I had to use to describe, it would be MOLD!!! Absolutely filthy, this place would be shut down were the health department to visit.

Staff is sometimes nice. I mean some staff may be nice and some staff might be mean. I feel a little uncomfortable sometimes walking in, not knowing if I will feel comfortable or uncomfortable. I feel welcome. Sometimes, I feel judged. My usual experience is The facility is clean. Small basketball court, but I am grateful they have a basketball court during the winters. I want to maybe check out the swimming pools. The gym is decent. I do love this place overall. Everything is good and bad to it. But this gym is healthy for me overall, me being a recovery addict and living with mental health. I have bad grammar. Something I could work on. Thanks.

A Wonderful Atmosphere. Staff is helpful, and informative. Great steam room. Looking to the day when the Sauna is repaired. The Pools are Wonderful and managed by understanding Life Guards. Very good children’s programming and for senior citizens.

Anna in the billing department needs to be fired. She called me to make a payment for my daughters camp for 2 weeks that were due one week was already covered so I only owed for the last week. When I said to her that I didn’t owe the two weeks and if she could look at my file She said verbatim “I don’t care about your file you need to make a payment” as if I was past due. She said I’ve been calling you and calling you as if I was past due the payment wasn’t due for weeks to come. I’m going through a DV separation and have been busy with handling and making sure my child is taken care of. I’m never late with my payments and for her to talk to me in that manner is absolutely unacceptable. It’s absolutely disgusting to have someone working at what’s supposed to be a family friendly establishment that is this nasty and rude. This situation needs to be addressed and honestly she needs to be reprimanded immediately.

There is no air conditioning and air circulation at all in the women’s changing room. It is extremely uncomfortable. I have been complaining for 2 weeks, nothing has done so far. Sad.

Friendly Staff, Helpful Front Desk and they Say Good Morning before 6: 30 AM. I would love to have the Sauna Fixed. Dry Heat is the Best. Lots of Programming for Seniors and Children. Delighted.

This place has gone DOWNHILL!!!! They do not provide basketballs for the gym, towels for the locker rooms, and are extremely inconsistent in enforcing rules! Lifeguards have horrible training!! And barely know what they’re doing. A lifeguard came in and told my daughter she could jump and then when the next one came in they said she couldn’t. UPGRADE REVAMP OR TRAIN YOUR STAFF ACCORDINGLY!!!!!! The staff members lost all touch of customer service and COMMUNITY. Forget a smile, they do not even greet you will a hello or goodbye!! It’s sad that this is what the METUCHEN YMCA has came to.
