From stepping into this restaurant, staff immediately greeted me. The bartender was phenomenal. She was honest about what was and wasn't available and made sure to check and communicate with myself and other patrons about wait times for orders. She was very polite with colleagues as well. Ordered the IV Purpose Pasta and it was great. Great portion, fresh and seasoned without being overbearing.

We hosted our 2022 Team Social and Player Recognition Night there and we had a blast! The manager Abbi was on point from start to finish and our host/bartender Ashley was great. Our guys had a great time along with family and friends. We will be hosting additional events there very soon!

Purpose is a neighbor gem. Everytinenibpassed by on Fulton st, the outdoor dining area is always full of people. The only time it is empty is when it's very cold and windy and still might have a couple of stragglers having their signature frozen drinks. We had the private room upstairs still social distancing between people and tables. You would never realize how good their food is. Had the wings, rice, rasta pasta, grilled vegetables, salmon, stewed chicken, and mashed potatoes. I am not sure I got it all, but this is what I remembered. Nancy runs a tight shift and she is there to make sure the customers are happy. She has quite a few servers for the amount of people that come to have drinks especially. The bartenders rotate around to handle any influx of customers. I do have to specifically specify a few people that helped facilitate our great time here. I have to shout out to Daniel 1st because he was all over the place taking care of everyone' s needs. When we 1st arrived, Nicole was all over us wanting to know if we were ok, and even ordered us water to start. We ordered drinks and she quickly took care of our order. Later after our dinner, a few of us went to the bar for a final drink, both Samantha and Nicole were there and they both took such good care of us making sure we were ok. When you go to a place where you feel at home and comfortable, this is a place you need to return to often. Like I said, this place is a gem in this neighborhood, but you have to try the variety of food they serve and Michael in the kitchen is constantly trying to improve on the menu to attract and keep customers and he is doing a great job!!

The cheesecake egg rolls is the only thing I like here. Oh Be careful with the bartenders. They like to switch up on your drinks. If you order the same drink, my first drink did not taste like any of my third fourth or fifth.

The food was good. I had the purpose pasta, and the frozen sorrel ginger and my date had the burger. I also had the jerk and honey wings, which were good as well. Upstairs is good for quote conversation. The waitress was very attentive.

Came here for Super Bowl. All the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was GREAT! We had wings and sweet potato fries… YUM! Will come back for that.

This place is wonderful. The chef has got to be making every meal with love because it tastes that way. Never too greasy, dry or lacking flavor; simply perfection every time. The bartender Simi was very respectful and approachable she showed great hospitality . The food was 10/10 I had buffalo wing , Caesar salad , mozzarella sticks with the homemade marinara sauce . I appreciate the service . I would come again .

This was a great find! Not only did they put on the rugby game for us, but Simi was an excellent bartender and made Saturday afternoon here a vibe. Great music and food too. If you like grits, you have to order them here.

This definitely must be friends and family posting reviews but stopped in for a quick drink and paid 3 $46 for 2 Long Island in a regular cup couldn’t believe it nothing special not even premium or shelf top liquor must be the food cause the price for drinks is ridiculous would never ever stop for drinks here again ever!

Had a great time at IV Purpose. Came here to kill some time but left knowing it’s a great spot to unwind. Great food, drinks and service. Mooka was my server and she gets credited for the great time I had while at IV Purpose. Drinks were on point and with a Caribbean twist the food was more than what I expected.

Burger came with some really spicy sauce that wasn't listed on it. It was still good though. Fries were very good. Nice happy hour.Gabby was a great server. Really nice and accommodating.

Man went there for the first time and the bartender with the blonde short cut was amazing. Gave me a drink I never had before and it was FIRE. She don’t even drink and curated an amazing drink. Had the beef burger which was A1! Definitely would recommend

Update* I noticed this place on a walk home and decided to give them a try via delivery service. The food was well packed and had decent flava. I got the salmon entree with Rasta pasta, rice beans and mixed veggies. The portions were a lot smaller than I hoped for I’m not sure if they are going for a gourmet approach. Also, I preferred a different noodle type for the Rasta pasta. The Rasta pasta flavors doesn’t take to smooth pasta surfaces as well as it would with ridged pasta. I regret not requesting gravy for the rice. The mixed veggies had zucchini and spinach which I loved. The food was edible but idk if I would be eager to eat here again.

This place rules. We came for an NFC match and the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It's high energy so if you don't vibe with that don't go. At the beginning of the night I was pulled aside and told "We don't get a lot of white boys here, you should tell your friends about us" so consider this my personal invite to check it out. There's an upstairs that we were sat at and the fight was in prime view from anywhere in the place, even outside. We arrived after the kitchen was mostly closed so I'm planning on going back to try the menu.

IV Purpose became a vendor with the department of education, and we ordered food for students' winter dance on 01/13. they loved the food even took some home to their families... what a wonderful experience. We will continue to use them and recommend. them for all functions.

Our organization uses IV Purpose to cater all our events! The food is delicious and the customer service is great. The food always arrives on time, and by the end of the night, our pans are always EMPTY. Highly recommend... especially those lemon pepper wings!

We are excited that our school discovered Purpose Restaurant. We already worked with them twice to cater events, both a large school dance for our high schoolers, and a smaller teacher leader professional development event. The food is delicious and all the dishes are crowd pleasers... especially the sliders! But, there are vegetarian options too! Darnell is lovely to work with, very professional, willing to work with you and your budget, and very easy to reach. Prices are reasonable, especially as someone managing a public school budget.

I had been wanting to come here and finally got a chance to! The guava margarita was a favorite! The staff was very attentive. I attended an event on the second floor. Great space for future events!!!

After having a long day of work, my partner and I decided to come here. When I mean this place is sooo phenomenal our waiter / host was very sweet and nice, as well beautiful. The food was worth your wild don't eat meat but my partner does and he got the crispy chicken salad and he loved it. I got me a Caesar salad and coconut shrimp and I loved it sooo much. He a big guy and he was already tipsy off of one drink ( the drink he got the remi peach lemonade ) the bartender is very beautiful and she makes phenomenal drinks. I had 2 a virgin strawberry mojito and I loved it soo much. This place is honestly worth your money also we got to watch the basketball game and had an amazing time. So if your in Brooklyn I subject that you come here and enjoy urself, also they play all kinds of music it's a whole vibe here!

I decided to plan my end of year staff event at IV Purpose and I made the best decision! It’s such a warm and welcoming environment and to top it off we had the best waitress ever!!! Gabby was AMAZING!!!! She was so on point with my staff orders and drinks. If you’re looking to celebrate with staff look no further… IV Purpose is where it’s at!!!

Very good drinks! Very strong flavors! The food though- I was unimpressed. I received cold cheese fries and once reported, they were microwaved and returned to me-no bueno. Mozzarella sticks were served warm and became hard as the store string cheese w/ in 5 minutes. The waffle fries were thick and so greasy it wasn’t even appetizing. The best thing I had this night were the spring rolls. Nice server though, she had the same name as my sister so that was cool.

Gabby was our hostess, what a welcoming individual. I absolutely love Gabby, thought she was my sister from another mother (LOL) Very friendly atmosphere and the buffalo wings and cheese fries and margaritas was on point…delicious and it also helped that it was “happy hour” 🥰 Thank you to the people at Purpose and make sure y’all take care of Gabby.❤️

Y’all… this place is a hidden gem. The food was perfect. Ordered the baked ziti, grilled veggies and it felt like it came out of my kitchen. They were well seasoned and a good sized portion. The Apple Martini was the smoothest I’ve ever had, shoutout to Ashley! The music playing was perfect, a vibe! I’ll be back here cause it’s my new favorite.
