A beautiful Irish bar with a very spacious interior. Stopped in for a spot of whiskey and also, after viewing pictures others posted, got the Guinness onion soup which was bitterly decadent. I recommend it. They also sell a few Irish dairy, confections, jams, whiskey and other items. Cute!

Nice Irish Bar with live music - piano and guitar. The place was full and we had to sit by the bar. Good collection of Irish whiskeys to choose from. As you enter, you’ll also find a small grocery store inside with Irish and British Candies and Biscuits (cookies). Alcohol available too in retail but expensive. The food was okay. We ordered fish and chips. Fries were great but the fish was bland and puffed. Also ate the Irish sausage roll and it had more oil than usual.

I stopped by Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro back in May to watch Liverpool play in the Premier League final day because they were open early for the match. The atmosphere was amazing. Being from Chicago, its hard to find bars that show English Premier league games but there were a ton of supporters so it was so much fun to cheer on Liverpool. The bartender told us they intend to show more Premier League matches next season. If that's so I might need to make this bar my go to spot for early matches. The bar was as beautiful as the pint of Guinness I was served. I had the full Irish breakfast and my girlfriend had a sausage roll and fries. Very good food, I would go back for the food alone.

I gave this place a try first time customer. Ordered the rib dinner for 4 and fries with curry sauce. Food was good Except the ribs, which they are supposed to be known for. Fall off the bone BUT way over cooked and dried out, covered in sauce to hide it. Not worth the money at all. Too bad could have been my new go to place. Can't recommend them . People work to hard for poor quality.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and food and drinks. Loved that it used to be a funeral home that I worked at many years ago. Definitely will be back.

End of season sailing fleet party. Served on buffet all items cooked to perfection (roast beef, chicken breast and green beans ) The staff was very friendly and had no problems handling our group of 80 sailors.

This place is great. If you’re an expat from on of the commonwealth countries you’ll really enjoy the selection of food, beers and items from the store they have

Love this place! It's so hard to find a real Irish bar these days! The Guinness is pulled perfectly and the list of a Irish whiskey and Scotch is plentiful. Let's not forget about the Irish music on Weds, Fri, Sat, and Sun! The artists who show up for the sessions are so talented. I had the French onion soup and it hit the spot on a cold day. I also highly recommend the Reuben with the curry fries. The curry is perfect and reminds me of being back in Ireland. Last but not least they have a plethora of Irish food to buy so you can go home and make your own a Irish Brekkie at home

I'm a big fan of the menu here. The ribs are awesome. Other favorites include the fish & chips, fried pickles, and Guinness stew. Strong selection of Irish beer and an even better selection of Irish whiskey. West Cork is my new favorite. As far as atmosphere, an all around nice dark wood bar with a good spread of TVs for those game days. They also do live music, trivia nights, and sometimes other themed events. Small and thoughtful Irish grocery selection up front.

Just what we were looking for! Paired with a Guinness and our Friday was set. Food was warm and Guinness cold. Makes me dream of being able to sit inside a Irish bar and have the Guinness on draft. But still, just as delicious. Cheers!

Saturday brunch on Memorial Day weekend. There was a soccer match on. Thank goodness someone thought of making a reservation. While their brunch menu is limited it has some great options. Irish breakfast items are plentiful. And, they have a small selection of lunch items. Black and White puddings, Irish Bacon, Bangers, the whole lot. I was boring with my order and had a hamburger. This was no simple hamburger - at least 1/2 pound on a Pretzel bun, fresh vegetables, and enough fries for a horse. There was no way I could finish it. The service was very good. The ambiance was pleasant. We'll definitely go back again. Oh, it also seems like it would be a great place to go in the evening to hang out at the bar.

I hosted my friends' engagement party this past weekend at Mrs. Murphy & Sons. This was one of my first times hosting a big party like this and the staff (especially James) made the experience so easy. Food = Outstanding Space = Outstanding Staff = Outstanding I would recommend to anyone interested that they host their next party at Mrs. Murphy.

Come on Wednesdays for Trad sessions (Traditional Irish Music)! The resident / guest artist do a great job - there isnt much better than listening by the fireplace, with Guiness Stew and a Pint. Authentic Irish Stew and soda bread!

Like the space and beer selection. The food is still coming up short/flavorless (and, no, it's not salt I'm looking for). Great rental space upstairs, too. Heard the ribs are good...

Great Irish pub with live music and a ton of TVs that are either playing futbol matches or tons of other sports. Crazy this place used to be a funeral home but it's very spacious and they have a very large traditional Irish menu, didn't get the chance to eat but will be back to try some things.

One of the better fish and chips that I have had. A little greasy thick shell, fish is well cooked and delicious. Lots of fries. Enjoyed from the Martyrs patio down the street.

This place used to be great, my beer was flat. The stew was horrible hardly and meat or sauce and the potatoes tasted like instant potatoes.wont be coming back here until they fix this mess

Staff were great, fun atmosphere but the food left something to be desired. I enjoy the time so it's worth a second try.

I don’t believe you should have an automatic service as your ways to communicate with customers. I was missing items from my order and was unable to get ahold of anyone in restaurant!! We ordered fish and chips dinner but never received the chips part, we also paid for extra tarter sauce and was never provided ANY at all. No garnishments were provided either no lemon or tarter sauce . I called and had to leave a voicemail and no one has yet to return my call. I believe paying $18 for a meal I should be provided all items that are included . The fish that was given was extremely greasy and had nooo flavor at all. We will never order from this establishment again. Only part of my order that was correct was the beading pudding which tasted stale and was hard . Have you customer service rep contact us for more details .

We are from Minnesota. One of my best experience at a restaurant. Aiden is one amazing waiter. I felt like home. One of the best experience I’ve had. ❤️

Authentic menu but not executed well. Potato and leek soup was good but very salty; meat was OK; Yorkshire pudding was dense and doughy; wish there was more gravy.

Good food, but extremely overpriced. We ordered the Weekend Roast ($22) and the Corned Beef dinner ($17) and received two small slices of meat in both with a laughable amount of vegetables on the side. For the cost/portion size, I would pass on ordering from here.

As it was a grey & rainy day & my two friends & I were seeking a spot for dinner, it seemed both fortuitous & fitting to find we were within a stone’s throw of Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro. It had been a long time since I’d last been, so the ample entry corridor brought extra delight with all the Irish foods (& peat!) on offer. Immediately hearing a trad sesh going on in the main bar brought certain joy to my heart; I was practically jigging all the way to our table. I’ve always been partial to the gorgeous woodwork & authentic decoration in this public house, it keenly hearkens back to the aesthetic of the pubs actually in Ireland. The atmosphere was a toasty, cozy contrast to the deluge outdoors & it beautifully complimented our fish & chips, Irish Breakfast, potato leek soup & pints of Guinness & Magner’s. By all accounts the food was superb; I even robbed some Brown Bread from one of my mates & have zero regrets. I’m very much looking forward to my next visit when I bring an extra shopping bag for more tasty imported goodies (I purchased Milk Chocolate Hobnobs & McVities’ Dark Chocolate Digestives this go ‘round) & maybe grab a Mrs. Murphy & Sons shirt! Go raibh maith agat for the great craic! See you soon. Sláinte!

The ribs are delicious. If you want something different try the fried pickles. Great selection of beers on tap.
