Hands down this is the absolute WORST place to host a volleyball tournament. They chose to use only half of the "courts", leaving perfectly good actual volleyball courts closed? Court 1 is a makeshift court with temporary flooring in place that is slippery for the players with basketball hoops hanging down which both teams keep fouling off of. See attached photos Very disappointing for the money we pay for the entrance fee.. $10. The men's bathroom has an overflowing toilet by 9am covering the floor, disgusting 🤮. The parking situation is terrible, if you aren't the first team there you are parking very far away, plan to walk. The building is very cold, wear your hat, mittens, coat inside. Bring a blanket for your athlete.

I have been to much better/nicer facilities for my daughter's volleyball tournaments. This location is smaller/less spacious. The bleacher seating is also more limited than at other locations. There was a musty smell in this facility too. The bathrooms were smaller and not as clean. The food selection was not as good and the dining area was not as big. They will charge you for bringing in outside food/drink. This place also charges spectators a higher entrance fee. And on top of it all, I was asked to be a score keeper along with another parent! Shouldn't they have score keepers in place? I prefer Great Lakes Volleyball Center in Aurora, Energy VBC Inc in Niles and Wintrust Sports Complex in Bedford.

DO NOT Book for Kids birthday parties!! We were there for my son's 7th birthday party and it was terrible! First off, as soon as we walked into the building, there was a Poker Tournament going on! Don't get me wrong as I like to play poker, however to walk in and see this when you're attending a 7 year old birthday party is completely unacceptable. Secondly, the trainer in charge of the party was not engaging and did not lead the kids through any of the activities. He stated that his only job was to keep the kids safe. I had to step in to help with dodgeball, baseball and keep the kids engaged. Additionally, we were told that we could not do tug-o-war and there was not an obstacle course set up as advertised on the website. We tried to stay local with the party and support a local business, however this was a terrible mistake! The cleanliness of the facility was terrible and I would not recommend hosting a party at Velocity.

My 16 year old son recently participated in a volleyball tournament at Velocity. I was very impressed with the facility and thought they ran a fantastic event. The courts were in great shape and also appreciated the snack/lounge area for breaks between games. Looking forward to going back again.

Great place for volleyball skill building. The See family and coaches are doing a great job training the girls and boys! My daughter has improved her volleyball skills noticeably since she started training at Velocity. Now she feels confident and ready to tryout for her school team ☺️

Volleyball tournament. The facility is clean. The aisle ways between the courts tends to be tight but passable. Parking was good. There is parking on both sides of the facility the courts have bleachers. Concession stand had typical drinks including coffee. They have pizza, pulled pork sandwiches, pulled pork nachos, and assorted candy.

Not a good place for a field trip. Training for volleyball (4), baseball (1), basketball (2) and soccer (1). Remember athletic training, not field trip.
