I took my sister out to lunch today and she decided she wanted to try schoops, we came in and sat down at the counter to order our meal, the staff was very friendly and attentive but unfortunately we got a call from my sister's doctor that her schedule had been changed so we had to leave very quickly. The staff was very accommodating and made our order to go so we didn't get a chance to experience the restaurant but the food was excellent. my sister ordered a burger and some onion rings with a vanilla shake. I ordered a bowl of creamy chicken soup and a Green River with a bunless Junior Burger. The burgers as always were phenomenal and the soup was actually really really good! couldn't have asked for a better lunch! thank you guys.

Probably one of the last truly great hamburger places left. Fresh, prepared to order burgers that have not changed in 30 years. Fries, shakes, onion rings to round it out. All served in the same location I remember from childhood.

This is the Best Schoop’s still around. The waitress greeted me as soon as I arrived. Service and food are very good! I love their shakes! I didn’t even ask for a water.

Good service with lots of friendly people. The food is always excellent and the ice cream is tasty. Been going to schoops since I was a child and I'm carrying on that tradition with my children.

Have to say I've had plenty of Schoop's hamburgers over the years. Been to Munster twice. The second time was last week and I had a cheese burger with with mayo and tomato on wheat toast. That was by far the best burger I have ever, really ever had. It was neat with the condiments just right. Great job....

Hamburgers are always great, even with takeout. Fries are a little dry and overcooked, but onion rings are the best. Their daily souls are good too.

The burgers are great. Still massive, quality, well grilled patties. They need better buns & warm them more. My top bum was cold & started flaking apart.

My husband loves this place. I wish they had one or two healthy food options. To people who are avoiding cholesterol, the only option is salad without cheese and lemon wedge for dressing.

Great burgers, smash burger style. Old diner vibes with juke box and charm. Can't go wrong with a bacon cheese burger fries and a shake 🤤

Service was very good. Seating is limited and unfortunately we sat in back of the dirty dish container where one server threw the dishes as loudly as possible. The burger and cheese fries were very good but the toppings on the menu were not all the ones available and some are extra. The onion rings were the greasiest I've ever had; you could have squeezed a 1/4 cup of oil out of them. $28+ for 2 people seems expensive to me.

An absolute gem! Old school burgers and ice cream in a laid back family friendly diner.
