My husband and I were interested in having our wedding here. It was so hard to get in contact with the person in charge and then once we had a viewing, no follow up email was made to us regarding how to move forward with booking the venue. Disappointed nonetheless but luckily we had plan b for our wedding and was able to book elsewhere. Would recommend elsewhere if you’re seeking an organized venue where they’ll actually care about you instead of making you feel like a burden of their time.

I've had food at the Quad Club on a couple of different occasions, and it's always been great. The staff is super friendly, the food is great, and the restaurant is beautiful and grand. The quiche is delicious, and I love the house made lemonade.

Very nice an prestigious place to visit, enriched in it's history. Upon my visit too this establishment I was actually on a job at this location in their kitchen area, an I must say that I was very impressed by a very talented group of people In the kitchen. Being able to witness fine dining an it's preparations.πŸ—πŸ—πŸ— Also I would like add to the fact that the ladies were very polite, very prettyπŸ˜‰

The Quadrangle Club is a private, members only club. The place looked like it was out of Harry Potter, for it's decor. I was invited and if you get a chance to go, do it. The drinks and food were excellent. I had the steak and it was the best that I have had in years.

Never stayed here but the lunch menu has lots of interesting choices. Try the quiche, or the special BLT. Loved the bread pudding dessert as well.

We just left there this morning. We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was so very kind. The front office manager was terrific! If you're in town, this is a great place to stay.

The kale salad was very tasty, burger was good, I liked the cheese, can't remember what kind. The waist staff could stand a lil improvement. I really enjoyed my conversation with the hostess. I love the decor, esp the womens lounge

Overall this is a great establishment. Attended a wedding reception here; the space is beautiful, food is decent, and most of the staff is nice. However I had to remove 2 stars due to one of the serving staff being inobservant and very rude. This was only one individual, but I wasn't able to complain to management, so I'll leave it here. During dinner, the first course served was soup. Our wedding table nametags were clearly labeled with what meal we should be served. This server handed out soup to myself and my SO. We proceeded to eat the soup, and this server came back and grabbed the bowls of soup from underneath us, as I literally had a spoonful of soup lifted up to my face no less, and said the soup was only for adult meals. Our tags were clearly labeled with adult meals and in view of the server. Then she also had to be corrected in giving my brother soup because he too had an adult meal, and she without checking the tag, gave him a kids fruit bowl. Her negligence didn't stop there: later, as dinner wine was being served, she proceeded to give the 2 other adults at our table wine, and purposely skipped over myself and my SO, even though we had adults meals. We're both 23 years old, and I understand from looking at us that our age is ambiguous, but the proper thing to do is to ask. Made evident by a different server who served the champagne for wedding toasts who simply asked us to clarify our age and we had no problems. But this server again had to be flagged down to come serve us wine, and before we could say anything she said, "but you're both teenagers right?", she said this in a VERY condescending tone, and both the 2 other adults at the table, plus myself and my partner had to correct her. She was clearly disgruntled by this mistake and the previous one, and deliberately poured very small amounts (smaller than a standard pour) of wine for both of our glasses. Our entire experience with this server was very insulting and left a bad taste in my mouth. But thank God for the very kind and accommodating bar staff! With that being said, the rest of the establishment and staff was otherwise excellent.

Plenty of street parking available (parked across the street from the entrance). The staff was very friendly. It's been many years since we've been here and will definitely be back. Heirloom carrots with ginger soup, a garden salad with grilled shrimp, salmon with roasted celery root and apples was the perfect meal. Topped it all off with their in-house made wild berry sorbet. OMG!! It was amazing!! Going back next week and bringing friends. I rediscovered my favorite club spot right in my backyard. ❀️

I'm a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of shooting a brunch wedding last summer at the quadrangle club. The space was beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for the wedding. It had a separate space for the ceremony and the reception. The staff was also very friendly.

Beautiful old school club with nice rooms affiliated with U Chicago.. Don’t expect all the frills and amenities, but if you enjoy the club atmosphere or have an event nearby it’s nice.

I discovered this place when I played for a memorial service at the club. Beautiful historic building with high class amenities. I wish I had gone to U of C so that I could be a member!

This is a UChicago exclusive faculty place. I was lucky enough to get invited to. The ambience is the best part of the experience. This is a historic building it which many nobel laureates have had accademic discussions over a glass of wine. The food was alright and so was the service. The menu highlight is clearly the bread pudding made of Cinnamon rolls.

The de facto Faculty Club, this place is very nice and relatively upscale, although some have called it "stuffy". The food is excellent in general, but the coffee leaves a lot to be desired. Would be great for them to get a nice espresso machine! I have stayed in the rooms once and they are very nice, although not enormous.

The worst place to stay! No air conditioning during the record breaking heat in August of 2023! They never cared to turn on the AC. The rooms stink and the whole building smells disgusting. I don’t know if it is always like this or this old building now smells because of the heat and humidity in summer. It is absolutely disappointing and sad to end up here even for a minute.
