The best Saffron Rice I ever tried! Very Respectful and Caring Staff. Long Live Afghanistan!

The food was so delicious, we got a small family platter with a variety of meat including lamb served on a bed of two different types of rice! This included appetizers! It was more than enough for the four of us! So tasty, I highly recommend the tea as well!

Everything was very tasty, like a home made , i enjoyed fresh tea and kebab, as well as afghan bread, highly reccomended, friendly people and reasonable prices. P.S , smokey smell of meat near the restaurant is amazing, it took me there, was my first time P.P.S Just saw some of reviews with one star that have exactly same text, guys, owners of nearby restaurants, thats not good competition, thats not how it works, i’m chef and restaurant owner in Georgia, i know exactly what i’m saying, just do your work good, make your food better and that’s how you get customers, i was just washing clothes in laundry and i just walked in this restaurant, trust me, dont look on reviews, just give a try and walk in, you will really enjoy it. i dont know anyone there, i’m just neutral person and i like food discoveries, travelling and tasting many cuisines. that one was really good, remainded me my home. good luck owner.

I absolutely LOVE coming here for authentic Afghan food! Whenever there’s an opportunity for me to suggest this restaurant for a family meal I go for it! We got the family platter with extra naan, lamb chops, 3 extra lamb skewers, & they let me bring in a hot thermos to bring some of their delicious tea home as well!!! Amazingly delicious EVERY TIME!!!

I live in Chicago not too far from this joint wife and I went to have dinner Friday night first time there. Literally opening the door and the greetings from the owner immediately. It’s family ran so you can just feel the love in the atmosphere. Didn’t know what to order they were kind enough to suggest few things. Food literally came out within minutes after ordering very hot, amazing food with amazing people there. We’re definitely gonna be coming back and suggest this spot. Not a bad thing to say mashallah amazing experience . Thank you the 3 lovely ladies that were working there (sisters) and to the gentleman (probably the dad)! 5 stars

Restaurant is clean and decoration is outstanding with Afghan and Arabic customs Staff are really friendly food test is amazing I give 4start just because of rice has nor been good well it is hard needs to be boiled a little more to be softer. I do really recommend this for everyone to try our Afghan cuisine

First time here. As soon as we walked through door greeted by owner. Very kind and hospitable. Afghan food was authentic and amazing. The meat was tender and very flavorful. Owner came and checked up on us to see if we need anything. I highly recommend this place.

My significant other and I stumbled upon this restaurant on Google. The lady at the front greeted us and answered any questions we had about the menu. We weren’t familiar with some of the menu items, but she educated us with no judgement at all. The food was absolutely wonderful, flavorful, and fair priced. The portion sizes were huge as well. We can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant has the most authentic Afghan food in all of Chicago. Their staff and owners are very hospitable to their customers. Their website is also very user-friendly and zabiha-halal certified. I highly recommend their Kabul Mix Grill and Mantu. The food is always cooked perfectly and their service is phenomenal. Definitely, a must-try if you're ever in the area!!

It was my first time trying Afghan food. Delicious. I’ll definitely be back. Everything I got tasted amazing. Great prices. Also, the service was incredible. My waitress was so sweet.

The food is great but aside from that the place is way over priced and they include a “service charge” AND tips in the bill “regardless if you want to tip or not”. A meal for 4 people with no drinks and no desert will run you a minimum of $130. In addition, the silverware and plates were damp and they didn’t include any knives. Won’t recommend

This place is awesome. The appetizers were amazing. The lentil soup is so good you must try a cup . I ordered kabul mixed grill & it was so fresh and tasty. Even I was so hungry I couldn’t finish the plate. Very nice place for families or friends gathering. The prices are affordable.

Wanted to try afghani flavor food. Was pretty much satisfied with the quality of the food especially Qabuli pulav but dissatisfied with the quantity of the food. For the price charged, quantity needs to be improved.

Have ordered from here twice now because I couldn't stop thinking about it after the first time! Very tasty food! We were sick of the standard chicken over rice fast food style middle eastern(?) type stuff that the majority of places in the area seem to be and this definitley was a pleasant change! I'm not sure what all the sauces and salads we received were but I have to find out because I have some new favorites! Can't wait to order again!

Love the green sauce with some lamb Tikka my favorite. Get the meat lover combo and upgrade with some kabuli specialty rice. Gotta say the green sauce taste very authentic.

We had a company event here and had hundreds of people show up. The owners and the staff went way above and beyond what we expected from them. The food was fresh, clean and portions were beyond generous. This event was a few months ago but I’m writing this review now bec I’m craving their bread!!!

Loved it! We went here randomly and were genuinely impressed by the high quality service. The food was absolutely delicious - everything from the appetizers (pictured here) to the main course. The Kabbli Pilau was awesome as well as the Mantu. Also, the Naan was cooked to perfection and the best Naan I've ever had in the Chicagoland area. Highly recommend Kabul Kabob! Will definitely visit again iA!

Not only is the food amazing, authentic, but the service is STELLAR. We catered yesterday and there was a slight mixup. The manager was extremely nice, said " I want your party to be perfect", and delivered me a tray of fresh kababs and rice! That too on a busy holiday. Thank you and we will be customers for life!

I come here almost every other month all the way from Indiana it's the best Afghanistan cuisine in town Mantu is number #1 hitttt!!! And the tea is soo light and the best authentic taste... 100% recommend the owner and staff is very friendly MashAllah.....

My first time at this place. We ordered lamb chops , Kabul mixed grille, salmon kabab, naan, tea, appetizers which included a plate with salad, baba ghannouj, hummus and an onion/tomato/chilli based dip. The Naan arrived piping hot and fresh. The tea was spot-on with a hint of cardamom. The lamb chops were grilled perfectly. Not overly cooked or spiced..perfectly tender and juicy. Same goes for kababs (chicken/beef/salmon). The kabuli pulao accompanying the mixed grille was as authentic as it can get...very mildly spiced to perfection with super-long flavorful basmati rice. I have to say these were the best lamb chops I’ve had in a while. Will definitely be visiting again.

I have had mostly good experiences, but there have also been a couple of times that they make the food super salty. That takes away from the taste as most of the time that it has been good had the perfect amount of herbs and spices including salt. It’s never bland or unseasoned so that’s good as I love flavor.

They cheated on us when we went to eat and We asked why you have a Buffett on Saturday They was dishonest And lie and said we honor the grand opening of our neighbor !! the buffet was already paid by the owner of the neighbor of the grand opening shop and Also half of the trays of the food was empty and she charge us full price.
